The service and food we're excellant. Booked to sit at table 13 near window but as told on arriving it was not possible, no one else was seen to have booked that table. However, everything else was good.

The Newcastle City Golf Club bar and restaurant is a very nice eating and drinking establishment. The staff are very friendly wether you are eating or just having a drink. There is also a lovely view of the golf course itself and a nice outside patio area which is very quiet considering the golf club is on the main Great North Road. Pricing is also very reasonable and food was lovely. All in all a very nice relaxing experience.

Lovely friendly environment with one of the best views in Newcastle to have an aperitif before dinner. Not fine dining but the bistro a cut above the bar menu and very tasty.
