This was a much needed date night. My wife and I hadn’t been here for about 2-3 years and coming back and just eating the appetizers / small plates was all we needed.
Came for their valentines dinner event. Great good, great service and beautiful ambience. If I were to critique anything, it would have to be the violinist that played. It was very hard to hear her due to no amplification.
Very good food definitely recommend to anyone
Our experience was very positive and we thoroughly enjoyed the time spent there. Everyone we came in contact with was very courteous and friendly. Above all the atmosphere was great.
Went for Valentine’s Day. Great food and great experience.
Great food, great service you can never go wrong with this place
Great food with fresh, high-quality ingredients! Very accommodating staff and our server was excellent. The Brussels Sprouts are not to be missed!
We celebrated my daughter's birthday at the Citrus City Grill and had an excellent time! The food was delicious. I highly recommend the stuffed date appetizer and the sea bass entree. Not to mention the bread and dipping sauce!!! The service and ambiance was great!!!
We were there during Super Bowl last Sunday. Place was a ghost town. Wonderful food, great service all-in-all nice time. We go back and back and back. M
John our waiter was awesome.... soufflé was excellent and great service
Fantastic salmon from a fantastic menu! Foodie's dream
Great food. Service a little hit and miss, but the location and outdoor seating make up for it.
Very good and attentive staff. Food was good a little pricey for the Orange Circle.
Great food and great location. Service was very good!
Not crowded at all on a Saturday afternoon. We sat on the outdoor patio, which was quieter than indoors. Place was clean, people were friendly. Service average. We had the filet mignonette tacos. They were fabulous! I would go back there any time!
We had not been here in some time. The place had not changed much, still a nice casual place. We had the Saganaki appetizer, which got lots of looks when it was set aflame!! Very nice portion and very tasty. I had the prime rib dip sandwich and I liked it a lot. My wife had the braised short ribs and also liked it a lot. The Creme Brulee' despite being touted as the best in Orange county was a big disappointment. Custard was a dark yellow and not fully set, more on the runny side. The caramelized sugar was also sort of rubbery as opposed to crisp. Just a weird combination. But overall still a decent place worth trying. We will go back.
One other thing. Our server was very difficult to understand. Not sure what his accent was but both my wife and I had a hard time figuring out what he was saying.
Great ! Everyone enjoyed themselves. ! Food was delicious. .. Our server never let our champagne run out !!
We really love eating at this establishment. The reason for my lower rating is our server was either new
or inexperienced. He failed to notify us of the daily specials, or that a request for a souffle took additional time. We obviously hadn't seen the dessert menu at the time we ordered our entrees. When I drew these deficiencies to his attention following dinner, his attitude was one of complete disregard.
My husband and I shared a small plate ahi dish, seafood soup, and ravioli. All were presented beautifully and tasted slightly unique and very delicious. Outside patio would have been great but too cold for us. Inside is a little too open for my preference but we picked a spot near the windows to be a little more cozy. Our waiter was perfectly attentive but not intrusive. We will definitely be back.
My stuffed chicken was very dry!
First time there for breakfast. Underwhelmed. Small portions, overpriced.
Food was wonderful. Butter lettuce salad was so tender & flavorful. Had the New Year Eve preset menu. Filet was tender & juicy. Asparagus was perfect. Well worth the money. Had creme brulee for dessert. Try their souffles on a non-holiday. So good.
All was great
The drinks were good and the food was excellent. The shrimp and scallop plates were wonderful and the seafood was cooked to perfection. The flavorful meatloaf with mashed potatoes was amazing comfort food! The roasted chicken had just the right amount of herbs. Don’t forget to order soufflés! We had the grand marnier and a chocolate! Alexandria did such a nice job of serving, especially the souffles and she was one of the best servers we have had the pleasure to meet in a long time. We had an excellent dinig experience with our adult children and Alexandria made it especially pleasant for us! She is a lovely personable server!!!
horrible Christmas dinner experience- overpriced doesn't even explain the uneatable dinner that my party of 3 had. Inexcusable for a restaurant especially of their stature.
Our food was cold. Very disappointing for the price of the meal.
A Greek soup I ordered was inedible, a starchy green thick sauce with a ton of salt
Fish tacos, had one piece of fish with lots of shredded cabbage.
I would not recommend this restaurant.
Looking forward to a return visit soon with my husband, it was fantastic!
The food and service is amazing! John was very helpful with my vegan diet restrictions and the meal I had was amazing and filling! If you are into chocolate soufflé order it early and everyone who could eat it LOVED IT! I really cannot get over what a nice waiter John was!
We got together for a perfectly lovely lunch. The food and staff were all excellent!
We visited CCG for Thanksgiving. Dinner was prix fix or open menu. We "customized" a surf 'n turf with a perfectly grilled rib eye, and diver scallops & huge grilled shrimp. Quiet, cozy dinner & drinks on the heated patio, watching it rain! Service as always, perfect.
Recommned only for regular dinning. Brunch was very limited and just ok
I recommend you guys all the time - I bring my friends from out of the country - and I also refer my hotel clients to you. Keep up the excellent work.
I had heard about this restaurant for several years and I was excited to finally be going. I had the chicken entree while both my brothers chose the meatloaf. My chicken was okay. The meatloaf was very dry. Both my brothers did not like it.
We will not be returning.
Food could have been warmer. Service was slow. Had to send the check back (was over charged for the wine). Had a overall good experience and we will return again.
The service diminished the experience, there are to many options out there to accept this type of service
The food is always excellent, but I have to comment on the service. We had our two children with us, along with us four adults. Most nice restaurants may frown upon that but we don't allow our children to run around and be disruptive; Citrus City was beyond wonderful! The greeted us and treated us as well as they did our children and were just very kind. The staff is not just professional, they are thoughtful and considerate as well. We cannot wait to visit again.
We always have the octopus because it's amazing! We had lamb, chilean sea bass, seafood soup, etc. All was delicious! Thank you!!!
Dinner was delicious. We had the bacon wrapped dates appetizer. Entrees were free range chicken and the pork chop. Borh were fantastic. Our waiter was friendly, helpful and engaging. We'll be going back!
We usually have a very good experience here. Steve the owner was very gracious and attentive.
They were a little busy which is why our service was a tad slower than normal, but all in all we had a nice time. Last time we had a weird experience with their filet mignonette tacos because we didn’t see that they came with berries and blue cheese. Next time we’ll request that they take these out.
