I love the option of outside seating. I teriors are beautiful.
Food was satisfying.
It wasnt crowded, yet service a little slow to our needs.
We love this place. When it’s crowded, it’s noisy, so we try to go during the off-times. Food is great, service is friendly and professional. They’re happy to accommodate special dietary needs.
Love this place it’s the best Sunday Brunch in town!
We usually have the sea bass, it wad cooked to perfection since I like mine medium. The risotto came out lukewarm, but m our server immediately brought over a fresh serving. Great service.
Love the location and vibe. I was there on an early Friday night for dinner with 5 family members. We have all eaten there before. Tonight, we ordered the calamari, salmon, filet, pork chop, chicken and shrimp and scallops. While the calamari appetizer and my salmon were very good, everyone else’s meal was way overcooked. The fillet, pork and chicken were so tough and tasteless. The side dishes were tired and uninspired. The sweet potatoes with the pork were charred. It was an expensive and sad affair. The service was very good. The decor is lovely and classy, but the food needs some serious help. Although we have been there many times, I’m afraid I cannot afford to go back.
One of my favorite places to go for a nice dinner near the Chapman University campus. Excellent food, good service and a nice wine list by the glass.
The food was amazing and so was the service! Drinks came fast when we ordered “another”. 🙂 I personally love this place because it reminds me of my mother. We had her celebration of life here.
Thank you for the wonderful Mother’s Day and the memories.
Food and service is always excellent. The prime rib sandwich is delicious!
A great place to go for Sunday brunch, the food and staff are awesome. You are treated like a celebrity. The train station is 3 blocks away very easy for no worry travel. It has become one of my special places.
Food was delicious. Service a bit spotty at times. Waitress was friendly when she was around. We shared the mozzarella caprese special to start. I had the sea bass & hubby had filet. We ended with grand marnier soufflé. All very good!
I kind of blame myself for not checking ahead of time. In previous years the restaurant had a set menu for Easter. This year was a buffet style. While even though the food is always good, the place isn't designed for buffet style so it was crowded, loud and felt like a cafeteria. For 40 bucks a plate I would rather go somewhere where you are able to have a nice conversation with family and friends. I will go back to the restaurant for their food always but will never go back to a buffet style brunch again
Well, unfortunately the Ravioli with the I believe shittake mushrooms made me ill. I didnt think it was the Ravioli until I warmed up the leftovers and I got sick again. Bummed
I can count on well made and fresh food at the Grille. Sitting on the front patio was was very nice as there was a car show on the street in front of us. The waitress was very cordial and accommodating even though it was a very busy day.
Endless mimosas are great, but the quality of the champagne wasn't even close to average. Everything else was above average.
Great option in old town Orange. Good food, great drink options.
Excellent food and good service
This place always delivers! Sitting outside on a nice evening is wonderful. Service is attentive and friendly. Food is nicely done and uses fresh ingredients. It’s a go to place in Orange!
We were a party of six. There were two tables available for six. One next to the receptionist booth and one farther in to the restaurant. We asked if we could be seated farther in and told no, even though tables were identical Noise level very high making it difficult to talk with each other. Food was great. Ran out of plates but some were brought out as soon as we told the staff. Reception staff could use some training.
The Sunday Buffet was amazing! They had a delicious beet salad and poke tuna! Waiter was sublime!
Great brunch! We have been tweice now and both time had a great server and the food was excellent. Ahi poke? Wow!
Terrible service, expensive 20+ salads for what you get. Not worth the money
Very subpar experience, the person that greeted us didn’t care that we have a reservation server that greeted us took forever to get to our table and when he finally walked over we could barely hear him over the noise level in the restaurant. Food was only OK not worth the money.
My entree was HOT and delicious!! Perfect!
Joy was our server and she was fabulous. So knowledgeable about the menu and gave us some great recommendations. The noise level inside seemed a little high so we chose to sit outside, was a very pleasant evening. I’m visiting from Chicago and I was really impressed with the menu, service and atmosphere. Citrus City Grille was my mom’s favorite place to eat when she was living, she would’ve been 101 yesterday ! Great memories to take home with me. Hope to be back again soon.
My husband was on a date night. We typically picked out this restaurant because of the seafood selection . I had the sea bass, first attempt was over cooked but when I got the second one - it was perfect! Delicious to the last bite. The asparagus risotto was amazing ! Love it and will sure go back there again
Wild mushroom pasta...grilled octopus...steak tacos with blackberries and blue cheese... OMGOODNESS! Wonderful food, Janet's service was spectacular and great value. Always a winner.
I love the ambiance, service, food and location. Elleny was such an attentive host.
Food is always delicious-Soup was outstanding
Always a great experience! Never disappointed!
The food was freshly prepared and very tasty. My party loved the Ahi Trio and the brussels sprouts. My friends liked the grilled fish tacos, but they were not my favorite. The fish didn't have much flavor and the whole thing was a little mushy.
Service was very good. Our server was a young man who seemed a little intimidated. He may be a recent hire. But overall, he was accommodating and efficient.
I think the atmosphere is a bit cold and it is becoming very dated. Time for a refresh!
Great food and great service.
The service and foods were amazing!
Food is always very good. We usually sit at the bar. The service there is spotty. The crowd was moderate, but we were basically ignored to a degree. At one point a few bar tenders sat down from us during their breaks taking up seats from new patrons.
First things first--kudos to Esteban (mgr) and Morgan (server) for doing their best to salvage what would have been a disaster. We arrived for 5:45P reservation, early enough to make it to a nearby performance. The place was packed and we were told we'd have to wait--"too many walk-ins"--was the reasoning provided. I'm not sure why they took precedent over a rez, but it tells you something about their approach. After waiting more than 20 minutes, Esteban smartly offered all three of us a drink on-the-house. That helped defuse my anger. Then, after another 15 minutes (as we were regularly clock-watching) they seated us and we quickly placed orders. Morgan was made aware of our timing issue and she responded very professionally. Nonetheless, the experience was anything but enjoyable; quite simply, we were now just in a position to "eat something" rather than go hungry into the performance. We made it in the knick of time, and appreciated the efforts of the two employees. But, the restaurant's willingness to seat walk-ins on a performance evening when it had reservations on the book is a qualified "killer" in my book. But the real kicker came today when I realized they didn't even give me proper credit with OpenTable. How hard would that have been to simply hit a button on the computer. Have been there several tines in the past, but this was the last time.
Food is great and service was fantastic! We will be going back.
Great service! Calamari and pear martini are definite thumbs up!
Food and service are always wonderful. If it's nice weather I recommend sitting on the patio. We had dinner inside which was very noisy making it hard to talk across the table. There were several larger parties and the place was very busy so that likely added to the noise level. Otherwise, this is a great restaurant.
Always delicious, always top notch service. Love the ambiance and the management.
Food was average at best. Seafood linguine was the weakest I’ve had. I can do better at home in 10 minutes. Slow, inattentive service.
The waitress was spread too thin—she was taking care of nine (yes 9) tables (22 people total). I was so impressed she was able to give us the service she did. She did apologize and thanked us for our patience, but we overheard her apologizing to other tables also.
