They are under renovation! No notice about this until we got there. There were adults running around doing a scavenger hunt, demanding help with it. Not the relaxing, calm atmosphere we have experienced here in the past. When we were able to finally locate where the restaurant is now located, we were shocked. The tiny area allocated for the restaurant is makeshift at best. The menu is much smaller and there is no “atmosphere”. The waitress and hostess were apologetic, expressing they thought that there might be some mention of the renovation somewhere on the website. They were very nice and said they completely understood that we would not be staying. Was looking forward to a nice dinner in lovely surroundings, and this was definitely not going to be the case. The dark (no windows), temporary location is not what we expect from this restaurant and we were very disappointed. Hopefully it will be better whenever renovations are completed, but not worth going to at this time.

Although this place is undergoing renovations, we thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside for great food and under twinkle lights….quite a lovely setting as you stroll over to the outdoor area with hanging lanterns glowing and many firepits! I didn’t know how lovely this place was! We also happened to be there the night Jose was having a tequila tasting and it was fabulous! All the staff were so pleasant…please support this great casual but lovely spot!

This was unexpected. We were just sort of taking a chance on a restaurant inside a local hotel (we're locals, not staying there.) And it was really, really good! We ordered nachos thinking it would just be an appetizer for us but it was plenty as a lunch for both of us. And it was super good! Food was being delivered around us and the people at those tables were also goo-gooing over it. One note... we were told that this restaurant is about to become a Tommy Bahama's so if you want to try it, you only have a few months as of this writing (May 2023) to try it before it's gone.

The dessert was off the chart!!! The fried fish with chips was the most interesting. I would love to have that recipe.I cannot figure out what that batter was but it was outstanding. Even my husband loved it.

Extremely disappointing experience here. After being seated we waited about 15 minutes for our drink order (from their list of house cocktails) to arrive. By that time, we had already received the appetizer we ordered but it was cold by the time the drinks arrived. At that time we placed our dinner order and wine. In the meantime, our water glasses were emptied but the servers did not notice or seem to care. We had to get up from the table and find someone who would pour more water, which was frustrating and unpleasant. We were just about to have our last bite of dinner before our server decided to bring our wine out (so we weren’t able to enjoy a glass of wine with our dinner, which was overpriced and not delivered with any kind of customer concern whatsoever). During this whole ordeal it was quite difficult to get any basic courteous service (the servers were rarely in the dining area to look after the diners). We feel the staff wasn’t properly managed and there was little pride or concern for for those who chose to dine at Citrus and Palm. It was a bad representation of the Miramonte, to say the least.

The room, service and food were fine. My only complaint is the avocado toast I ordered. It was 1 small piece of bread with maybe 2 tablespoons of mashed avocado and a huge pile of plain arugula on top for $17. Very disappointing.

This is one to pass by. Slow service (but very friendly) despite not being anywhere near full. Everything but the salad was overcooked to dryness. Just disappointing. Choose someplace else is my simple advice.

This place will be changing ownership soon. It was a disaster! We were the only people there for breakfast. On Christmas Eve. Out of the three of us, the chef got two orders wrong. Very sad to see after the major renovation that was done to the Hotel.

I ordinarily love this restaurant, even though the menu is limited. The beauty and ambiance of the outdoor dining patio is outstanding. There is a new menu though and I think I just ordered the wrong thing. I ordered the Greek pasta salad that was described under the salad section as having various vegetables and pasta. What I got was a plate of bow tie pasta with a few slivers of cucumbers, olives and tomatoes with a Greek dressing. The dish was tasty, but the ratio of pasta to vegetable was complete out of whack. I thought I was ordering a salad and got a bowl of pasta. I’ll know better next time, but the menu is very limited and so I wish they would either fix this dish or swap it out for something else.

It could be a good restaurant, but the food is just terrible. They should dim the lights to give it a little more ambience. The service was good! But the food… Brussels sprouts with quinoa- somehow true quinoa came out crispy and Brussels soggy… halloumi was diced into tiny squares, it had no flavour. I had saltimbocca, which by definition should have palma ham round it… but it was no where to be seen. The potatoes were hard and it all was swimming in a puddle of butter. The vegetable tagine was not a tagine… it was vegetables in olive oil with spices around it. So odd.

Great food overall! Everybody loved their meals and flexibility with the service and options. Suggest ice cream options (especially for kids); suggest adding Chamomile tea to the tea options. The restaurant was quiet and this was appealing for us; less concern for Covid issues, etc. The outside gardens were very pretty. Highly recommend for a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere inside or outside. Of course too hot to sit out right now.

We were so impressed with our dining experience at Citrus & Palm. The boutique hotel setting provides the perfect ambiance for this lovely restaurant. The food choices were creative and delicious! Everything we ate was so flavorful without being too salty. Just delicious - will definitely dine here again!
