On a very snowy February night this place was packed. Service was slightly slower than I might have anticipated, but perhaps that was because of absences due to the snow. The starters were fantastic, the entree was extremely tasty, and the speciality soufflet desserts were to die for. We'll be back for sure.
Drove all the way in the snowstorm and it did not disappoint. Great greeting, wonderful service and all the entrees were a hit. The mango sorbet was delicious as was the chocolate soufflés. Would go back again.
My wife and I loved the food. We shared the crab croquettes which were creamy delights. I enjoyed the cassoulet with perfectly prepared duck confit. My wife chose the wild boar gnocchi which she couldn't stop raving. We both took half our entrée home for a delicious lunch the next day. Finally we shared the decadent chocolate soufflé which was amazing.
Valentines Day menu, a bit pricey but some amazing flavors. Overall a good experience.
Special Valentine's Day menu was a great taste treat.
Superb, authentic French paté, cassoulet, and soufflé . We forgot to bring wine, but the elderberry drink was fine, especially with an added lemon slice. Offers a 3-course pre-theater option.
A wonderful experience. Our first time here and we will definitely go back. Everything was delicious. Had first and second courses and dessert. Everything was great from the food to the service.. A cozy little place and BYOB. Great place for date nights.....probably not a good choice for small children.
We had the friendliest service and a delicious brunch! I had the french toast and my boyfriend had the open faced omelet... both amazing.
Great place to dine
My wife and I enjoy going out during the week for a date night. We like to share a meal often our dinner was more than enough to share. The dinner rolls where the best I have had and the desert was second to none (there specialty). I believe that the tire store down the street is lenient to parking latter in the evening. This would have to rank as one of our top three favorite restaurants in the Lancaster area.
From the moment we walked into Citronnelle we knew it was going to be a special experience and it did NOT disappoint! From the appetizer to the dessert, it was the most unique and traditional French cuisine imaginable. We will be back, hoping to get the fireplace corner seating next time! Thank you Citronnelle for one of the best dining experiences of our lives!
We came here for dinner before a play at the Fulton Theatre, and it was wonderful. I had a perfect NY Strip and my wife had salmon that tasted like it just been caught. BYOB makes it more affordable too. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. We highly recommend this little restaurant. Cheers!
We met friends on a Thursday night and had a very enjoyable time. The food and service was excellent. I just wish there were a couple more options for the second course however nothing to complain about.
The Global Wednesday was superb--a visit to Hungary with goulash soup and chicken paprikas that were wonderfully authentic. I'm looking forward to visiting again soon. The server was just the right level of attentive.
My husband and I had a wonderful date night here. Happily surprised by the ambiance, delicious food and gracious staff. It’s BYOB which we appreciated as we have plenty of our own good wine choices. The portions are more filling than they look and I am enjoying my leftovers for lunch boch today!
