Two chefs preparing worldly cuisine featuring share plates and tasting menus. Ciro features an intimate dining experience with 30 seats, an open kitchen, plenty of wines by the glass and can accommodate dietary restrictions.

Michael DiBianca is a Culinary Institute of America graduate and New Jersey native who has been a local star in the Wilmington food/dining scene for more than a decade. This local treasure comes to the area from the former Restaurant 821 in Wilmington, where he was owner Tobias Lawry’s sous chef and then chef de cuisine. He went on the launch the renowned Moro restaurant and Satsuma Asian Kitchen & Bar in the Trolley Square area.

Ciro is my favorite restaurant in Wilmington. I was happy to bring two out-of-town foodies from NYC with me who were also very impressed. We typically get tasting menu, but it was a beef forward tasting this weekend, and one or more of us was not in the mood for it. So we went a la carte - two of us had the duck, one the shrimp & capellini, and one the veal scallopini. Delicious. I also got the brussel sprouts, which were fabulous. My one quibble was that they only had one chocolate torte left at 7:30 on a Saturday, and no coffee available. That seemed odd. That said, I look forward to returning in the near future.

We went for restaurant week and it did not disappoint! Very good and very creative. Late summer tomato salad with cornbread was “chefs kiss!”

From the specialty cocktail to dessert everything was delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely dine there again

While our heirloom and tomato salad and mushroom pasta was excellent, outstanding really, and the scallop was very good, although too salty, the pork cheeks were incredibly fatty and not tasty that was the main course of our tasting menu. The lack of response from the chef was very disappointing.

Urgent night is outrageously wonderful. We each tried a different burger and they were all exceptional. The tomato salad was a delightful start to our meal and the blueberry pie was an amazing way you end our dinner. If you hi to Ciro on a Thursday evening snd thru are offering burger night. Try it you will not be disappointed! Service wax welcoming as always

I would recommend the Chef’s Tasting menu at Ciro. The five-course option is the perfect number of courses and a great value. Everything was delicious!

We had our first meal at Ciro and it was delicious! The tasting menu was excellent. We did the 5 course. Drinks and service were excellent also. We will be back for sure!

Not as wonderful as past visits. Flatbread and duck were outstanding. Beet salad and crab salad (entree) were good. They were out of scallops (menu entree) at 5:30PM on a Saturday. We were served my wife's app and my entree, then my beet salad after a little while. Later, my wife's duck was delivered, but not after it was walked past us to the front for a photo (phone eats first I guess). All this when I mentioned it was our wedding anniversary in the OpenTable reservation. There was no one seated at 5:30PM and only one other party (another deuce) when we left at 6:30PM. They should have seated us at a four top instead of the tiny deuce. Overall, a little disappointing. I would still recommend, as I think this was just an unfortunate anomaly.

My husband and I went to Ciro for the Whiskey Dinner. The whiskey cocktails and every food course was great (especially the tuna tartare and the lamb meatball), though the timing of the food was very slow at the beginning. There was only one server, Joe, and he did a great job keeping up but he definitely could have used some help. The restaurant needs some attention to the lighting - several bulbs out including in the bathroom, which was very dimly lit.
