Great as always. Service was on point, done of the best in the city. Food was tasty, including one of the seasonal dishes, the soup. Love this spot - our Chinatown fav!
Small plate menu is awesome for sharing.
Service was great. Food was awesome! Definitely has become a new favorite!
Good experience. Decent food.
Fantastic food, terrible service at bar high-top area upstairs. We love Circa but the lack of service was just horrible.
My boyfriend and I went for restaurant week and it was very enjoyable. We started with a hummus appetizer that was very flavorful without being too filling. I had salmon salad and the salmon was flaky and cooked wonderfully. We were quite full after the entrees so we pursed the chocolate chip cookies to go. We ate then later that evening and they didn’t disappoint.
Great food and awesome ambiance!!!
The wait staff was great and food was delicious 😁
A very enjoyable experience - the appetizers and salad were prepared perfectly, but the attentive and accomodating service is what took it to the next level.
EXCELLENT FOOD and nice variety of choices. Great Service. A little pricey but worth it.
Server came to the table right away and paid attention to us throughout the meal. Knowledgeable regarding the dishes served and his recommendations were spot on.
The food arrive quickly and was delicious (seared scallops and pumpkin ravioli).
Great brunch menu! Everyone loved their food and drinks (the treat yourself with ginger beer is especially tasty). The bulgogi fried rice and avocado toast were to die for. Great space with good natural light, not too busy at 1:30 PM on a Saturday. They serve brunch until 3 PM.
Scallops and brussel sprouts are amazing. Service was fantastic. Good for large and small parties.
Our new favorite DC restaurant. We love the small plates! Great food and service.
Came in for New Years Eve Dinner with my family. Service was great. Our server was very sweet, understanding and knowledgeable. Calamari was very good as was the lobster ravioli with shrimp. We didn't love the short rib or the lettuce wraps, but we did take an extra calamari to go.
The second level by the window table requested was ideal - affording a full view of wonderful architecture and sky. Conversation was easy - food exceptional from flatbread to flounder to bread pudding! And the service & management attention - showing rightful pride in their entire presentation to us - was reassuring not obtrusive. I sent an email to so many friends upon getting home - singing the praises of Circa. Can't wait to return after Shakespeare Theatre again (lucky we subscribe so it can be often).
Great food and service! Couldn’t believe it wasn’t more crowded on a Friday night. Will DEFINITELY be back for their high quality and yummy menu!
We were in a rush to make a show and our server was wonderful at helping us decide what food we could order and get done quickly. She was extremely busy but we never felt neglected or like we had to look for her - she was there when we needed her and the food was fabulous! My sister and i shared some small plates and the filet sliders were simply delicious!
The food was very good but the service was slow, no one came to take a drink order, and steak knives were not provided for two beef entrees. A disappointment compared to the venue in Foggy Bottom. I'm not sure I'll return to the Chinatown location.
We had several small plates and everything was incredible. I will definitely be going back.
It was a great experience. The food was amazing and when they accidentally brought on the wrong app they apologized and corrected it immediately. They also gave us the app on the house for their mistake. Would highly recommend!
We dearly love Circa but our lunch food was subpar this past week ie. not their usual excellent, reliable standard choices. Service excellent but the roasted cauliflower was ... tired, maybe just old. Yuk. Not over or undercooked. Not. Good. Enough. I’ve had this dish before. It’s usually very good.
The DuPont Circle resto, which they closed was always packed. Why? Perhaps location but I think the chefs made the difference. My fried calimari was fresh but so over-battered. Yuk. I never leave any on my plate. But I did this time, My friend had two other dishes. Shrimp was fine. The other...meh....
You’re opening a new resto on NJ Ave SE. We can’t wait! But if you don’t fix the flaws in your once wonderful staple dishes, and seriously check out your cooks, you will lose your loyal customer base.
I always recommend you but I won’t be back for some time......
Good spot to get dinner before a Caps game.
Food was quite tasty. The dumplings were perfect.
The servers rush you through your dinner… They could slow down a bit and allow us to enjoy each course. Otherwise, very friendly crew.
Interesting and well-made drinks, engaging bartenders, excellent food of a wide variety. Classy but not stuffy. We’ll be back!
A beautiful restaurants with good food and bathrooms. We went for brunch. There are good meat and non meat options.
Always a great spot for Caps pre-game dinners. Great food, and great people watching if you get a spot by the windows.
Was very happy with this restaurant pre Caps game. They accommodated us even though we were 15 minutes late - the waiters understood we needed to get to the Caps game and got us our appetizers pretty quickly. Dinner was tasty and good, and we made it out on time. We would go there again, which is high praise from us!
We were here for dinner on a busy night (sold out show at Capital One Arena) and the staff were very accommodating to our dietary needs (two lactose intolerant diners). Everyone was pleased with the quality of the food, the diversity of the menu options, and the value of the meal. The portion size was reasonable for the cost. Thank you for a great evening!
Great atmosphere and service. Delicious appetizers (Brussels sprouts and mushroom flatbread). Scallops were also very good.
The texture of the bison burger was a bit mushy.
Went on a busy weekday evening. Everything good, not special.
This is a good place for a relatively quick bite if you ahve to get somewhere quickly - for exmaple, a game at Capital One Arena down the street. The food was good - esepcially the calamari - and reasonably priced. The only thing not great here is the very high level of noise - which I have found at all of its locations. It's hard to carry on conversations with the much louder than average atmosphere.
Restaurant service was excellent and food was very good. I had the chicken mango salad which was excellent. My son remarked that the bison burger was excellent.
This restaurant is located very near to the Cap One Center. It has great food and the service was excellent.
The ambiance was nice however my bulgogi breakfast fried rice had way too much salt in it along with soy sauce.
Waitress was great & food was tasty, but was warm not hot when it came out. Great location if you are going to the Capital One Arena.
Menu was creative and diverse. Thought the short braised rib special was on the dry side but everything else was delicious. Great meal and quality drinks. Very reasonably priced.
We tried Circa for the first time before a 7 PM show at the Shakespeare Theatre on F Street, NW. we told the waiter about our time constraint and they worked with us to make sure we were served promptly. It was very quiet until the Caps gamer was over and hockey fans invaded the restaurant. But even then the noise level and service were fine.
Food was excellent — we shared a side of Brussels sprouts as an appetizer, which were perfect. I ordered the seared tuna, which was also good, and my spouse ordered the lobster ravioli— also good. Overall, an excellent experience.
I visited CIRCA during brunch with a few friends. The space was surprisingly quiet in relation to having a 1:15pm reservation and it being brunch in DC. The service was prompt and the crab benedict was great. I opted to swap the fries for fruit and was somewhat disappointed as I don't eat melons, but at no fault to the restaurant as I should have specified. Note: mimosas a la carte are $4. Something to think about before diving in with the bottomless.
Not my first time visiting but this visit wasn't so good. Waitress was a tad disconnected and food came out cold and other dish was under cooked. May gave this location a break
