First time to this restaurant. For years I have driven past the building and wondered about it. So happy to see it restored and done beautifully. The dining room is gorgeous. Food was excellent. I had filet mignon and my husband had the salmon and both meals were really delicious. I would not have minded a larger quantity of vegetables though, but the meat was a decent size. We are both gluten free and the staff took that seriously and indicated which entres were available to us. That is appreciated. Excellent experience.

I took my husband here for Father’s Day he wanted the 20oz ribeye. The waitress came back shortly after he ordered and told him they only had the 14oz in stock. He mentioned he would have ordered an appetizer if he knew that he would have been getting the smaller steak. He also ordered mashed potatoes and a little while later she came back once again to inform us that they were out of mashed potatoes. We dined at 6:45 so they still had over two hours of service left it’s not like we were the last customers of the evening. They should really inform you of anything that they are out of stock of when they seat you so that you can plan your meal accordingly. My husband said his food was “fine” I felt kind of bad because I thought this would be a really great Father’s Day gift and they didn’t even have the food he wanted. My son ordered the chicken fingers off the kids menu and I found it odd that they don’t come accompanied with any sides. I got the short ribs with sweet potatoes and carrots. They were ok I had similar food at Cracker Barrel recently that was better. The service was good and the food came out quick though which was a plus. We probably won’t be back but I’m glad we tried it.

Great experienced. Not only was the food and service exceptional, but we did also get to learn a lot about the history of this grand building. So, appreciate all the work that went into this rehabilitation. The woodwork alone is worth a visit to see. Most of it restored original. The floors and stairs are like nothing you see anymore. Here is wishing them all the very best. We are fortunate to have them open and serving.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening at Circa 1898. The interior is beautiful and inviting. We started off at the bar where Jill and Falon made perfect suggestions from the cocktail list. The Berry Delicious Martini was the sweet drink I was looking for! Our dinner was delicious. From the salmon and chicken to the garlic mashed potatoes and bourbon glazed sweet potatoes, everything was cooked to perfection. Sierra was attentive and friendly, checking in while giving us time to enjoy our dinner. We ended our meal sharing a warm cinnamon roll with ice cream. We can't wait to return and try the saloon bar menu!

We began with cocktails at the bar. Bartenders were friendly and drinks were excellent. Once at our table we had the artisanal cheese plate. It was large and delicious with sweet fruit and five cheeses. Our waitress was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. For our meal we had the lobster. We both felt it was over done and pricey. We ended our meal with a creme brulee. We will be back.

Went here on the recommendation of a friend. He was right, the food is great. Service was very good. I had the braised beef short ribs, and they melted in your mouth. The wife had crab cakes, also very good. Seafood chowder was yummy. Cinnamon bun dessert was very good. Definitely going to work this place into our weekly date night rotation. Great place.

Made reservation for 7:30 on the app as requested when you call their phone number. Selected birthday for the question, is this a special occasion. No acknowledgment at the restaurant for the occasion. Then why ask? Entered the restaurant, hostess standing at her station (blonde women), no greet, no smile, no warm welcome. I tell her we have a reservation and we are seated immediately. It was a Wednesday evening so not super busy. Server we could tell was very green and still learning which we did not mind at all. The food-marginally warm at best. Food needs to be hotter when served. And the salmon was drowning in the sauce. If I would get it again, I would get the sauce on the side. Exiting the restaurant, hostess and a server engrossed in their phones, server finally looks and says have a good night. This place is very charming. Does the staff match that charm??
