Cira is a modern, Mediterranean restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as weekend brunch. The menu is made up of shareable plates designed to fill your table and your stomach, inspired by the countries that make up the Mediterranean Basin. Set in the lobby of the Hoxton Hotel in Chicago’s Fulton Market District, the restaurant boasts a sun-soaked full-service lounge and coffee bar, and is transformed into an ambient, moody hub of dining and drinking as the sun sets.

We came to Cira to celebrate our anniversary. I had noted that when I made the reservation but when we arrived, there was a nice note on the table signed by the staff to congratulate us. We also received a complimentary glass of champagne and a chocolate truffle each for dessert, this was totally unexpected but much appreciated! Our meal was outstanding. We started with the beet salad and burrata on sourdough, both had excellent flavors and were beautifully plated. We then had the mushroom cappellacci and the gnochetti. Absolutely delicious, I wanted to get a straw to drink the sauce. Thank you to the Cira team for making our evening lovely.

First visit to Cira and 4th night in a row dining out at nearby restaurants. (Beatrix was night before and the service was a solid F-) Cira’s food was great, but the service was the real star. Our server (Brian V.) was exceptional and also the support staff. Every person that walked by our table had eyes scanning on the table to see what might be needed. No one missed a step - flawless.

This was a great experience. From the moment we walked in the door, Mike greeted us and was kind and welcome. Cool guy. Our server was Noor and she was AMAZING. She went above and beyond. She explained the menu and specials. We were there to celebrate our daughter’s graduation and it was a treat. Thanks so much. We’ll be back!

This place is one of my all-time favorite restaurants in Chicago! The food is absolutely EXCELLENT - I brought my friends from out of town here, and they all loved the food and brought it up several times afterwards. There is a lounge area in the front of the restaurant that is noisier, but the restaurant section is a quieter, more chill vibe. I have always had fantastic service here as well. Most recently, our waiter went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience by checking on my dietary restrictions, celebrating the 2 birthdays in the group, and generally being very attentive. After dinner, it's nice to get drinks in the bar/lounge area. It gets really busy there and there's also a DJ. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We had an outstanding first experience at Cira! I made the reservation through OpenTable and simply mentioned in the notes that it was my daughter’s birthday—most places overlook that, but not Cira. They went above and beyond, with a handwritten card from the staff waiting at the table, a sweet birthday truffle plate with a candle, and even a champagne toast to celebrate her. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was truly exceptional. Our water glasses were never empty, and we didn’t have to ask for a single thing—the staff anticipated every need. Top-notch hospitality and a memorable evening from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back!
