Cinque Terre is a beautiful area of the Italian Riviera which is comprised of five villages. The towns are connected by medieval style walkable paths. Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore are set on steep rock formations at the water's edge. These villages are a favored destination for travelers to Italy where seafood is prevalent. Pesto, a condiment made of fresh basil, is the flagship of tradition in the region. At Cinque Terre, we make our pesto every day from the freshest and top quality ingredients. We always have on the menu, Muscoli (mussels), Polpo (octopus), Gamberi (shrimp) and a variety of seasonal seafood, artisan pizzas along with house-made pastas. You'll also find an oyster bar that serves raw oysters on the half shell with fresh horseradish and
The food was great and our servers was very good.
Our waitress was awesome, amazing. Best service. She was very friendly and helpful.
Wait staff was very aggressive and pushing additional items. Special pasta dish was bland. Quite noisy!
Agnolotti and seafood salad were both excellent. Light lunch crowd so it was quiet and easy to hear my partner.
Upon arrival my table was not ready. While waiting in the bar, no one paid us any attention when we sat down. We had to asked to be served. One of the servers was on her phone after she gave us a menu and did not ask if we wanted anything to drink. We had to ask to be served. One of the dinners we ordered was warmed. Did not taste freshly cooked. Too expensive for the type of service and food.
Lobster and truffle gnocchi to die for. Everything was superb! Great service. Grazie!
This was a celebration of our 45th wedding anniversary, certainly a special day. 45 years is a dang long time so congratulations to us. What about Cinque Terre Ristorante? This was our first time here. I had anticipated it to be a small restaurant with a romantic atmosphere. Wrong! It was a very large place with ambience. I am 78 and my wife is 80. I am physically disabled and eating upstairs on the second floor is impossible. Why is there no elevator? The ADA makes it very clear that new restaurants must have means for disabled people to use an elevator for improved accessibility. Cinque Terre is a young and hip restaurant, mainly catering to millennials. But the couple at another table were clearly in their 70s - yay. Our waitperson was a hoot, extremely humorous and very attentive to our needs. She knew all the items on the menu. My wife had prawns with pasta; she loved it and compared it to a highend restaurant in Oaxaca, Mexico. We were there for 18 days several months ago. One night we went to a highend restaurant and had scampi, the "best" she ha ever had, succulent, juicy and smothered in garlic. An amazing meal. I splurged and had lobster with fungi gnocci. Lovely! The “free” bread was also excellent, probably the best we've had in a Seattle restaurant. Cinque Terre was not as good as the Mexican restaurant. The price of our meals for two people in Oaxaca was $35 including tip. Our meal at Cinque Terre was $135 with tip and no dessert, but hey, this is Seattle. Our reservation was for 4:45, the only available time on Open Table. With this being Valentine's Day, it was jammed. Being seniors, eating around 5:00 works for us, similar to comida in Mexico. Comida is eating around 3.00 or 4:00 PM. Dinner there begins at 8 o'clock, too late for us. Our service here was slower as the evening wore on; this bothered us and put a damper on the overall experience. No matter, we had a great time and we shall return with friends. James May, a Queen Anne resident. Cheers.
If you're looking for a nice date without breaking your budget too much then I recommend this place. The pasta is pretty good, bread was amazing, and it was all super filling. We paid about $120 for two people which included tax and tip.
Fantastic experience. Excellent food and presentation!
Very nice. Excellent service. Excellent food. Comfortable booth seating. Would certainly return.
Siera the server was awesome! Octopus off the hook! And Salvio and Leo are so nice. These restaurants have the ONLY vibe in seattle!
Other than a convenient location on the ground floor of an Amazon building, I'm surprised this place was as busy as it was. I had soup and salad and it cost me $35 with tip. The salad was fine and the soup was a special of the day that sounded delicious but was really disappointing - lacked flavor and had a strange consistency.
Yes, I would recommend this restaurant to friends and coworkers. Nice bright lunch spot. Meatball sandwich was very tasty.
Food quality is good but the seasoned flavor wasn't the best. I appreciate that a double shot of vodka was only around $2 extra.
Beautiful place and amazing service, stuff are super friendly and lovely
We were disappointed in the food. The service was excellent. Three of us dined, we ordered an appetizer and three entrees. The buccatini pasta was bland. The Agnolotti con burro e salvia (a ravioli dish) was uninspiring and bland, and the pizza special was soggy and over-sauced. I wouldn’t recommend it.
A great place to take clients and friends but I was disappointed to see they serve veal, which but I find in-humane. I may have to find another spot.
Wonderful experience. Food was delicious and amazing service. Would definitely recommend.
Very pleasant dining experience. All of the staff super friendly. Food was delicious. Good menu. As my dining partner said - it was a great meal and he didn’t feel overstuffed afterwards - even with dessert!
Of note - we sat in the bar area and it was still a complete and pleasant dining experience.
Good meal, food was great and Sarah was great too!
I took my husband here for his birthday and or was so great! The food was AMAZING, they printed a note on the menu, free dessert, and the waiter Darko offered to take several great photos! Will be adding to our fancy date night go to list!
We were looking forward to dining here after our family enjoyed Barolo restaurant. We were very disappointed with the service. It took a long time to receive the bottle of wine we ordered - staff was not attentive. The restaurant was not very accommodating to allergies at all (both chef and waitress made very few suggestions and were not helpful). On a positive note, the bus staff were very pleasant.
My family and I had a lovely dining experience here! Sarah was a great server and took wonderful care of us. The winner on the menu for our table was the Clams in the most incredible pesto sauce! We asked for more bread in order to soak up as much of it as we could (the bread is also amazing and made from scratch - in house). Second in the running was the WHOLE Seabass which was perfectly seasoned and melted in your mouth. Overall, fresh and fun menu with a enjoyable atmosphere! Absolutely would recommend for either a date night or just a fun night out!
Great first date
Even with a reservation, they kept us waiting an additional 15 minutes for a table. While waiting we went to the bar for a drink and were treated rudely by their pretentious bar staff. My husband was asked for ID and presented a US military ID card with photo and birthdate on it. They refused to accept it as valid even though a quick google search shows that it is listed as an acceptable form of identification in WA. As if that weren’t obnoxious enough, the bartender then asked us to go stand up and wait in order to make room for other customers... perhaps if our table had been ready at our reservation time we wouldn’t have needed to take up seating at your bar in the first place! We’d heard good things about the food so I convinced my husband to stay despite our initial bad impression. Once we were seated our waitress was lovely. She was attentive and very friendly. The food was okay, nothing amazing and hardly worth the bad experience at the bar.
This was my first time at Cinque Terre, New Year's Eve. I'm not a fan of limited menus on New Year's and was pleasantly surprised there wasn't one. And then I was even more pleasantly surprised when the food came! Our appetizer was a revelation--the beets were sliced so thin they could have been carpaccio. And they were tasty, too! The bread was fabulous. Our entrees--rigatoni with wild boar for me, pasta with a delightful pesto for my husband--were just right: right-sized portions, the right price. An excellent and well priced red blend wine, an excellent and well priced double espresso topped off a lovely dinner. All that, and service was fabulous. This may have been my first time, but I'm certain it won't be my last at Cinque Terre.
Excellent food and great Service!
Phenomenal meal for all four guests. Pleasant and helpful service. I will be coming back.
Great happy hour! Elegant setting.
Food was a little more salty than I expected and the restaurant seemed short handed. The servers need to be trained better. For example pouring water across the table spilling on plates and bringing food and drinks to the table simultaneously around a patron. Bread was piled high on a small plate and pieces landed on the table when being served. It was Christmas Eve and I was happy to have my family with me and someone else did the cooking! Thank you for keeping the restaurant open and we will certainly come again.
We had dinner on Christmas Eve. The restaurant was packed. And they were not prepared for the volume. Once we got our drinks our waitress didn’t reappear for 15-20 minutes. And once we ordered our entrees our food took almost an hour to arrive. I’ve eaten here before and had a good experience. I’d suggest trying this place on a normal night, not a busy night. Also the leg of lamb was not good.
The food was delicious, but the wait along with the wine not coming out until more than half way through dinner made the experience less than desirable.
Great delicious food but horrible service!
The bread was some of the best bread our group had ever had in our lives. We each had a separate pasta entrée and everyone of them was outstanding. The service was great and we can’t wait to come back. Everyone must check this place out it’s truly outstanding if you like authentic Italian cuisine.
Great tasty Italian food. Very nice and easy going waiter. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
Meal was very tasty and medium sized portions, just right. Service was awful! 25 minutes after being seated before the server showed up. Had to ask for water. Service was very rushed, literally put the last oyster in my mouth and the main course arrived. I will not return, it is a pity add the good is noteworthy.
Great experience all around. The team loved the food, the service, and the seating!
Nice ambiance and excellent food. Servicer was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. We haven’t been here before but all of my colleagues agreed it was great and we would come back.
Same group that owns Barolo and Mamma Melina so you know it will be good food in good setting. They have reasonable wines for purchase and the Fliet steak was cooked perfectly - very good!
