Cinque Terre Ristorante
Modern Italian, Oyster Bar, Neopolitan style artisan pizzas, House Made Pastas, Fresh and local seafood.
Cinque Terre is a beautiful area of the Italian Riviera which is comprised of five villages. The towns are connected by medieval style walkable paths. These villages are a favored destination for travelers to Italy where seafood is prevalent. Pesto, a condiment made of fresh basil, is the flagship of tradition in the region. At Cinque Terre, we make our pesto every day from the freshest and top quality ingredients. We always have on the menu, Muscoli (mussels), Polpo (octopus), Gamberi (shrimp) and a variety of seasonal seafood, artisan pizzas along with house-made pastas.

BECU attentive service. Food was very good. The calamari was over cooked and charred but main courses beautifully cooked. Wonderful dessert.
Fantastic experience, amazing food! Will definitely be going back
Not covid safe.
We went for happy hour. The appetizers especially were good and a good value for the price (oysters, clams/mussels). However my “medium” steak came out totally rare and had to be sent back. None of the food was hot. It was all lukewarm. They did give us a free dessert to make up for it. Service was good. We were charged full price despite being there for happy hour because by the time I received my steak it had been nearly another 30 minutes, but they fixed the issue relatively quickly. I was slightly disappointed after reading such good reviews online.
We went here to celebrate Seattle’s Restaurant Week and support the local hospitality industry. When we arrived we were told they don’t “participate in SRW on any Fridays and Saturdays.” It was also stated that no restaurants do. This is not what is advertised on https://srweek.org. Additionally, open table has a SRW search and this is why we made the reservation.
This was a disappointing start to the meal to send a friend off to military training but overall the food was great and the service was good.
I recommend double checking with the restaurant before you head out to participate in SRW.
It’s a great place for a celebration. The menu has something for all palettes and the food is presented beautifully and tastes great.
Service is outstanding. Food is very good. A bit pricey but totally recommended.
Service definitely suffered, perhaps due to reopening and being understaffed, and the food is no better than a food truck with salty food to make up for flavor. Doubt I’d be back any time soon.
Poor service, brought us the wrong food, long wait time for both food and drinks, we were told we would be comped some items for the inconvenience but that didn’t happen. Maybe this was all just one bad evening for them, but we will not be returning for a while. Food was good though.
Food was great. I’m from the Bay Area and felt the quality of the dishes were great and at a good price point. They were very busy but our server went out of her way to make up for the delays. Would absolutely recommend.
Good, fresh food. Nice outdoor seating option.....
The food was delicious and the drinks were great! The atmosphere was classy but relaxed.
Wonderful staff and amazing food!
5 star service. Beautiful and chill atmosphere. Good food, generous serving
Apps were amazing. Main dishes were seemly made in a rush. Pasta was underdone and my steak was chewy and overdone. Waitress was amazing and we were treated extremely well
Really good overall! Cocktails and appetizers were prompt and delicious. Service Timing was good throughout and the entree’s were good. Tracy commented that she thought there should have been more nose in the rigatoni.
Ordered the Osso buco
The meat was tender but quite bland.
It seemed to lack any flavor
The food was delicious and the staff friendly. Not a cheap date but we would definitely go back.
The staff was attentive and the food excellent!
Christina was a great server
This was our first time dining out since the pandemic started. Visiting from CA, we took our husky daughter out to celebrate the completion of her 2nd quarter at UW.
From the get-go, Christina’s team made us feel welcome, and safe. They take COVID-19 seriously.
The food was exquisite, starting with the carpaccio, the octopus and various pastas. Even the gluten-free one was excellent. The wine list and the desserts only served to enhance our dining experience.
This was my first visit to UW. It won’t be the last. You can also bet on a future stop at Cinque Terre.
We arrived happy and excited from New Orleans, ready to try Seattle’s finest food. The manager was rude and told us we would have to wait until our exact time (which was 8 minutes away)....I would be okay with this but our table was sitting prepped and ready to go... the manager was just being rude. So we waited outside in the cold rain. After we’re seated at that same empty table, I noticed the hostess and the manager and later the hostess and our waitress talking about us. You know when someone whispers and the person receiving the information LOOKS at you??!! Anyway, very unprofessional! i’ve never experienced anything like this before (especially when I was nice, just asked to be seated early if possible). It was a terrible experience I had to PAY for! The food wasn’t bad, but after all that it didn’t taste good. I would have left but it was late (8pm) and I took an Uber to get to this point and I was hungry.
Anyway, don’t eat here....book a table at VIOLET! Super friendly staff, excellent food!!
Very accommodating to vegans and fantastic food and service. Delicious food and great wine
The restaurant's COVID protocols were just right. The bread was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The cheese-plate and lentil spinach soup appetizers were on point. We tried the lasagna and octopus. Both were excellent. My one nit: while the main body of the octopus was cooked to perfection, the legs were singed to black, leaving the appendages with an overly-charred taste. But, overall - super.
We had a member of our party who could not have garlic, pepper, or nuts in her food. The staff did not hesitate to prepare her fettuccini alfredo sans those ingredients, which was a nice touch, and very much appreciated. We'll be back.
Not a busy Tuesday. Great service in the bar. Food was great!
First time eating out since quarantining and Cinque Terre had us covered from the excellent service, tasty homemade pasta and fun atmosphere! If you're looking for quality Italian food in Seattle, this is your place.
Not enough expletives. Food soooo good. As always
Amazing food and service, great prices- Servers were excellent
There was a long wait (but it was peak time on a Saturday evening. Staff was outstanding from front to back. The food was good. My husband loved the Eggplant ravioli. I ordered the surf n turf, and the 10 oz strip steak was delicious when I smothered it with the pesto that came with the oil-soaked focaccia. The 2 grilled shrimp were good. The fried lobster was a big disappointment to this New Englander who is used to a more flavorful meat with texture much firmer than one had.
Not for foodies or for quiet, romantic dates, but good for friends night out, with excellent live music inside, and an exciting vibe throughout!
The food was average. Drinks were good. Service was average.
Server and bus were most attentive and kind
Food was not special...entrees were dry
Food is so so . My salmon was over cooked, the pulpo and lasagna were not great. I always order pulpo whenever it is on the menu and this was slightly disappointing.
The positive was the Barolo bottle and our server was amazing.
It was perfect my b-day dinner
Service and food was perfect!
Especially octopus dish was so good.
The candle with dessert cake is touching point for me and my toddler boy :)
My boyfriend and I were visiting Seattle Valentine’s weekend and went to cinque terre for dinner. It was amazing! We both loved our food and the prosciutto buratta appetizer was wonderful. The wait staff was very nice, and the covid precautions in place made us feel very comfortable dining at this restaurant.
We celebrated Valentine’s Day and had the best time! We started with Lentil, Spinach and Cardamom soup which was beyond incredible! Then enjoyed a delicious dinner of Steelhead Trout and Rigatoni with Boar which were both the best dinners we’ve had in ages! Bravo to the chef! The service was terrific and the atmosphere just beautiful. Our temperature was checked upon arriving and we were given hand sanitizer, making us feel very comfortable with their Covid practices.
Great food and service team was so attentive! Appreciate the spacing out of guests, felt safe dining here during COVID pandemic
Food and drinks were great. Enjoyable atmosphere with excellent service.
Wonderful place to eat! Great staff and it felt very covid safe.
The service was quite attentive and we enjoyed nearly everything we had. The fresh local oysters were top notch and the wine selection was abundant. The only negative feedback we'd have was the margarita pizza. While we figured it would be a thin pizza, it was extremely droopy and the bottom was caked in flour. It felt like taking a teaspoon of flour with each bite.
Aside from that, the dining experience was perfect! We will be visiting again soon.
