Cinque Terre is a beautiful area of the Italian Riviera which is comprised of five villages. The towns are connected by medieval style walkable paths. Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore are set on steep rock formations at the water's edge. These villages are a favored destination for travelers to Italy where seafood is prevalent. Pesto, a condiment made of fresh basil, is the flagship of tradition in the region. At Cinque Terre, we make our pesto every day from the freshest and top quality ingredients. We always have on the menu, Muscoli (mussels), Polpo (octopus), Gamberi (shrimp) and a variety of seasonal seafood, artisan pizzas along with house-made pastas. You'll also find an oyster bar that serves raw oysters on the half shell with fresh horseradish and

Our waitress awesome! We had a party of 8 but I made reservations for only 7. They easily accommodated us and was every tentative to our needs. The food was fantastic!
Amazing! Highly recommend
Had perfect service and excellent food. Cinque Terre impresses with the quality of the food, the modern ‘light’ Italian feel and the extremely friendly and professional service. The wines on the list are also excellent and the Empress Martini is highly recommended
We were celebrating my wife’s 40th, I mean 29th birthday. The entire staff was exceptional and the food was superb.
The food was excellent! Not a single item disappointed. Our server, Darko, was a true professional... timely with his attentiveness and pleasantly engaging. Highly recommend this place!
I love Cinque Terre! I was warmly welcomed and immediately seated in a lovely booth. My server was also very attentive and engaging. I enjoyed the food very much and would gladly come back and bring a friend along for the occasion.
Wonderful dinner experience with family and friends. Darko was our server and made us feel right at home. The food was delicious.
We enjoyed the polpo and the asparagus special, with that awesome freshly baked bread. Two of us enjoyed the oysters, super fresh! We did a family style dinner and share three courses. We had the incomparable Tomahawk steak, the special squid ink risotto and prawn dinner. Everything was packed full of flavor, savory, appetizing and fed four (3 big guys & a gal) of us. Plenty of food, comfortably full. We ended it with a cream puff filled with salted caramel gelato covered in chocolate. Heavenly dessert, I could of had another, actually we all could of.
We never felt rushed and the timing of the food coming out was perfect. It was a really nice dinner full of great food, great company and plenty of laughs.
This will always be one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle.
This was my second time visiting Cinque Terre (previously in Spring 2017) and first for my wife and a cousin visiting from out of town. We all chose the Branzino, which was delicious and well-presented. The staff were appropriately attentive and our waitperson, Emilio, was excellent at helping us make wine and drink selections.
We celebrated my wife's birthday at Cinque Terre and had a wonderful time. The special asparagus dish was terrific, as was the gnocchi. They also recognized her birthday in a special way. We will go back.
Darko was an amazing server! Great wine suggestions and very flexible for food substitutions. The good was delicious and the music was vibey.
The lunch menu had a lot of options and the food was great. The service was very attentive and when one of our dinning members arrived late, they were accommodated promptly.
Our server, Carrie, was very attentive. We celebrated a birthday & she was great with recommendations on food & wine. She steered us to a great bottle we never would have tried ourselves. Our teen kids were present & did not feel out of place. We will be going back!
I made a reservation here for a birthday dinner - service was excellent, they even customized menus with my name written on it!
A truly outstanding meal prior to a musical at the 5th Avenue Theater. Our waitress, Carrie, was delightful and helped us decide what to eat. The Prosciutto con burrata was absolutely wonderful and went well with the wonderful bread. The Fettuccine with gulf prawns was excellent along with the Lamb Shank and the 8 oz Beef filet. The pear tart with vanilla ice cream and the chocolate gelato were a great end to the meal.
We will return in the future.
The food was excellent and the ambience is gorgeous. An upscale yet comfortable Italian restaurant with traditional and nouveau offerings. Beautifully lit. The cocktail menu could use some refreshing but otherwise great.
Excellent service and tremendous food
Good food, drink, service! It was great time to be there.
The food was not good. Inconsistent overall. Plates ranged from lukewarm, over salted, under salted, bland, too hot, the gnocchi tasted like greasy tasteless flour with truffle oil. The bread was burnt. Seriously this place is bad.
Incredible experience with Darko as our waiter. He recommended a family style dinner for the seven of us and catered to every preference and allergy. Every bite was amazing and the wine recommendations were perfect. 10/10, favorite restaurant in Seattle!!
My husband's birthday party was a huge success thanks to the staff and ambiance of Cinque Terre.
The restaurant transported us to Milan even though we were in Seattle.
First we saw a bottle of sparkling wine in an ice bucket at our table nicely displayed. A friend had called in and arranged for it. Then, we saw my husband's name at the top of the menu with Happy Birthday! Such a nice touch and way to make him feel special!
Darko, our waiter was AMAZING and made us feel right at home. He recommended vegetarian items for my hubby and was so personable that he was such a delight.
From the hostess, to the waiter, to the manager that we spoke to on the way out...we had a stellar experience. The food was beautiful and yummy and they even brought us a slice of Tiramisu which they lit with a special sparkly candle!
THANK YOU for making the night so special!
We will be back and have already told all our friends!
Outstanding food and wine selection and very attentive and knowledgable wait staff. The noise level was a bit hard on the ears, however.
Had a work dinner here and it was just perfect.
Good food, but hard to have a conversation.
Fantastic experience. Food, wine, and service were all exceptional from the moment we arrived. My family and I can’t wait to return.
Darko was great!! He took great care of us. The food was all superb.
This was such a superb dinner!
Rafael did an exceptional job pairing a glass of Italian wine with chef’s sockeye special. And that was just the icing on the cake... Ambiance was chic and it seemed like a very popular dining room for a Monday night, but our service staff really pushed this experience to the upper echelon! Thank you so much. See you again soon!
Food is outstanding! Lamb shank & mashed potatoes, lobster, burrata, pureed lentil soup and cocktails were all fabulous! Server seemed uninterested, non-engaging and hurried despite only being 5pm and not busy. She might have worked at Denny's for that matter. Still, we enjoyed ourselves and the food made up for the lackluster service. Bill was over $400 for 3 people which stung a little after not enjoying our server, but will definitely go back and try eating in the bar.
Excellent food. It was like being in Florence, Italy. Perfectly cooked pasta, delicious focaccia and great wine.
It’s worth checking out.
Great looking interior and menu. Lots of noise and not much light for reading. Waiter very attentive 'til we needed him. Arrived late for our show. The cheese board offered such tiny pieces of such nondescript cheeses, I was amazed they would charge $18 for it. The browned almonds that came with it were delicious, but when I asked our waiter to bring a few more and he assented, none came.
My lamb shank was huge; however, it wasn't cooked long enough and trying to tug flesh from the bones/tendons was exasperating. One of my table mates ordered pasta with shellfish while the other got the Branzino. Neither seemed delighted.
Overall, a disappointment for a well-reviewed place in a competitive restaurant environment.
Second visit was even better than the first, super fresh Hama Hama oysters, classic caesar salads, fettucine with rabbit ragu, lobster tail with truffled gnocchi. Our server Carrie recognized we were repeat customers (months in between visits) and helped us enjoy a wonderful evening. This could be our new favorite Italian spot in Seattle.
Had a wonderful time at Cinque Terre! Went for my birthday and the ambiance was so nice and peaceful without being intimidatingly quiet. Our waiter Darko was so kind and great with recommendations. He even brought out a complimentary dessert to celebrate! The food was all delicious, the octopus being a fan favorite. Can not wait to go back!
The pasta dish That I had was bland. It is the worst dish I have had out in Seattle since I moved here six years ago. I would have sent it back, except I was on a date and didn’t want to offend him. It had four mussels on it and some disgusting breadcrumbs and tasted like nothing. The squid ink pasta was mush. It was absolutely horrible. The waiter was wonderful.
First time at the restaurant on the recommendation of a friend - was very pleased with the restaurant, food and service. Excellent food - I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
We had a great experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food was great. Thank you!
Seating was very uncomfortable due to a pole sectioning off a corner of our table. Service was extremely slow from getting our order put in, bread and water refill. The fastest service was getting our bill at the end of our meal. Food was pricey for the portion size.
The food was perfect! High energy, fun ambiance! Miguel our wait person was superb! Every attention to detail, excellent recommendations and was a fun person!
We made reservations because we were unsure of how busy a Monday night would be. Food was excellent. Service was great. I wish I could remember the gentleman's name but my husband lost his card. The atmosphere was happy. Employees seem to enjoy working with one another at the same time making sure the diners were taken care of.
We had a fabulous dinner and it was a perfect location for our party of 7. Our server was outstanding.
The food was delicious. We all particularly appreciated the welcoming and attentive service.
We'll be back!
We had the mussels in arrabiata sauce, the Branzino, the lobster, and the veal, lemon sorbet and the profiteroles for desert. Our wine pairings were perfect. Miguel our server was so sweet, knowledgeable, and a delight. Everything was great. It was 3 of us...different palates and we all raved. Top class experience. Wishe we took more photos. Will be back. 🥂💯💛
