Food is excellent, such a wide variety. All staff were very polite and attentive. Highly recommend.
Nice atmosphere, the food was ok, but at the standard of an average take-away nothing special and about 3 times the price.
Not your typical Indian restaurant. The food is refined and delicious. Relatively quick service if you’re in need of a quick turn around too. Second visit. Would recommend.
Food was absolutely delicious! Would definitely go there again
Found the inside noisy with loud music so sat outside which would have been lovely apart from a very loud drunk group sat close to us which definitely spoiled the ambience for my husband. Food was delicious.
Amazing food as always. Really happy to see Cinnamon Kitchen open again. Haven't been disappointed with a meal out here yet.
Brilliant all round service, ambiance and food. We had the set menu which was such great value and so so good.
Definitely a good choice. Food was fresh and flavoursome. Well worth the money. Good Vegetarian coices
Food totally not worth the price
Delicious food, beautifully spiced, prompt and friendly service. This was our second visit and it certainly won’t be the last.
Great food and lovely helpful staff.
Ambience was marked down not due to the restaurant but due to social distancing requirements it wasn't busy and normal buzz was missing. That said we loved our date night and will be back soon.
Called well ahead of our reservation to ask for a table inside as we were celebrating a birthday. After queuing for about 10 minutes outside(joining the same queue as those who didn't have bookings), nobody had recorded our request and we were seated outside and asked to wait while they found a table inside. The table inside was next to the kitchen - an awkward side table hardly fit for an important occasion let alone a dinner at an upmarket restaurant. We proceeded to wait for service and after 20minutes of waiting had to ask someone to take our order who already seemed quite overworked. One dish was forgotten completely yet still added to our bill. Food was average - quite watered down to appease british standards. Really disappointed, hoping in time that their management and service improves.
Lovely authentic Indian food. Ask for the set menu.
Delicious food, lovely looking restaurant, good service. Only problem I had was the table where we were seated kept getting a cold draught from the open doors. This would not be a problem in summer.
Amazing food and a really nice ambience. Their sharer deal is very good value for money and the perfect amount of food for two people.
Very pleasant meal, good delicate flavours and service good.
Lovely food and service
Excellent Sunday Brunch for Two
superb quality,fantastic value.
Great to see you open again
Lovely food, so tasty, different to your normal Indian restaurant. Reduced menu but still lots of choice. Would definitely go back.
Our table was in centre of restaurant and in direct line of doors which were all open, it was freezing. We were moved to a slightly better position but still cold. Food was nice, the only thing exceptional was the peshweery naan. It was over priced and wouldn’t be rushing back. But glad we tried it.
Loved the food, the service, the drinks
And the company!
We will be back!
When I dined, I was the only customer in the restaurant. Then a group of customers came, and they were seated right next to me. It's a big restaurant. Why do you have to seat them so close to me? The restaurant was EMPTY. I wish to maintain social distancing as much as possible.
This is the second time this happened to me, in two weeks.
Great food and kind staff. Loved it in every way, thank you.
We sat on the balcony as it had heaters and it was truly lovely.
We had the tasting menu and it was amazing....so much food!
Absolutely fabulous can’t wait to return we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Thank you.
Unfortunately it was very cold in the restaurant, which made the experience less enjoyable. The food was a little bland but most frustratingly the waiting staff seemed to not want to acknowledge or talk to my wife. It was a very old fashioned approach and she left feeling offended, particularly when they assumed it would be me paying and not her.
Not your usual Indian restaurant and the food was very scrumptious.
After 1pm, there was just me at one table, and a group at another table on the opposite side of the room. Then a group of four walked in, and they were seated right behind me. Since the restaurant was near empty, I would have very much appreciated, if they were seated AWAY FROM ME.
Food was good, as always. Music a little too noisy to enjoy a relaxing moment. Volume down, please.
Fabulous meal loved the tasting menu. Service is friendly and slick.
Fantastic food great service lovely music a shame it was so loud at the end of the night with young people drinking cocktails in larger groups then they should of been during cov19
I’m a great fan of Vivek Singh's food and took my fiancée to the Oxford Cinnamon Kitchen on Saturday night for her birthday. It was booked via Open Table and I mentioned it was a birthday occasion. The food was delicious (we had the sharing menu) but the service grew less and less attentive until in the end we had to strain to attract a waiter’s attention to remind them that we should have a dessert (they had clearly forgotten). Then a long wait for it to come, then another wait for coffee, then for the bill. Eventually we left with no one saying goodbye or thank you. And no mention of my fiancée’s birthday at any point. We arrived at 8.15 and by the time we left at 10.30 we felt as though the last 45 minutes or so had been rather disappointing. I know things are tough at the moment but we definitely got the impression that the young people having cocktails were a higher priority than us.
The food was wonderful with subtle spice flavours & generous portions .
The cooking here is even better than before lockdown !
Quality of food was excellent but I do think it’s over priced. The portions can be slightly more.
Very attentive. Food came out very quick but hot and very tasty. Loved it
First visit, welcoming and attentive staff, good cocktails and delicious food, all in a lovely evening.
A welcome return of a much- loved restaurant. Everything was perfect: food, drink, service, ambience. Care with COVID safety. Thank you
Very happy with our experience. Staff excelled I. Looking after my onerous dietary issues
A warm welcome on arrival, great ambience
We chose the sharing menu for 6 people a great selection of very tasty dishes with plenty to go around
The restaurant had only just re-opened so I was expecting the odd hitch. However, the food and service was great. The food in particular was excellent.
Stylish interior and buzzy atmosphere. Smallish menu but interesting takes on traditional dishes eg chicken biryiani.
