   Our steaks, wine, and the special "off the menu" rolls were delicious, but the highlight of the night was the amazing service, attention to detail, and conversation from Anthony Geary. He is a true professional! We so enjoyed meeting him!

   Cinder House was incredible. Best meal we have had in Saint Louis. The resturant is beautiful, outside dinning is excellent. Our waiter was outstanding. Extremely knowledgeable about wine and food, and so helpful. Plan on going back soon.

   Menu, ambience, and view were top notch. Food was underwhelming and not well executed. Service was overwhelmed and inattentive. I could normally give a restaurant a pass on this but not for the prices they charge. There are far better brunch restaurants in St Louis to go to. It was a mediocre experience at best. which is sad because I so wanted to love the food.

    Everything was great, table, our server, and the food. One issue I personally had was the deconstructed Fegoida, Bowl Way to Small to accomplish “reassembly”of the dish without creating Frustrations and a mess for the diner

    Overall loved the dinner . Excellent food and excellent ambiance! After reading other reviews thought service would be excellent, however thought it was ok. Server was not very attentive and felt like the server had too many tables. Be prepared to stay at least a couple hours, I understand the dinner is to be paced out but felt like it was a little too long. Would highly recommend this restaurant

    Service was top notch. Pablo and the server was a lovely woman with red-ish blonde hair and eyeglasses. Hen of the woods mushrooms meaty and sweet and delicious. Bread was so good. Lamb duo was A+++ Filet mignon and Strip Steak also spectacular. Asparagus tender and fresh. Ice cream was so creamy like gelato and cherry sorbet so flavorful. Atmosphere so classy and modern and chic. WE had a great time and everything was amazing. Oh, and it was my birthday and another friend's birithday coming up and the staff made it special too.     Although the buffet selection is not what it used to be (unfortunately, since COVID that is to be expected) the quality and creativity of the offerings was exemplary. Highly recommended.

    Staff were very attentive to our needs. We did not leave unsatisfied. The view adds to the overall experience. We did not feel rushed and enjoyed eating and socializing at our leisure.

    I was really excited for this Mother’s Day brunch and I have to admit it was a HUGE disappointment. I expected so much better. To name a few disappointments: We had to wait 15 min for water and had to flag someone down. I had to hunt down my own silverware, had to ask a couple times for coffee, most of the food trays were empty, and the omelet and waffle station were not fully staffed enough for Sunday. This could have been predicted. This was in no way a $95 brunch and to be honest food was sub par. I actually feel ripped off. It was a lovely location and they could have done so much better.

    Mothers Day brunch was delish, just enough selections and espresso's and mimosa's not to mention the view of Arch made for beautiful experience. Enjoyed very much and look forward to going again!

    As connoisseurs of fine dining around the world, this experience has to have been of the best! Starting with the decor and interior design! The attention to details is incredible! So majestic! The meal consisted of this tender chicken with such a unique taste accompanied with polenta and a dash of honey along with a hint of spicy sauce, but not overbearing. Best chicken ever! Their signature dish consisted of various meats such as ribs, sausage and shredded beef mixed in with beans and rice. The meats were so soft and delicious! I particularly don't like lime desserts, but this one recommended by our server was by far the greatest lime dessert ever! The chocolate mouse had layers to it, and you truly can taste the suttle differences in the chocolate. Now with the server.. Erin was by far the greatest server we've ever experienced... Was a great listener! We made suggestions as to what we liked, and she suggested our meals according to our interests as if she was there to tailor our experience. She was a great conversationalist while not being overbearing. From start to finish this was again, one of our greatest experiences! Oh and we truly thought it was going to be at least 4-500 dollars, however, all in, including drinks, exactly $200! Couldn't believe it.. and to top if off, Erin brought us additional little chocolates after the dessert to land the plane! This experience truly made our trip to St. Louis so wonderful, and we plan on returning just for dinner! A must see and experience if ever within 100 mile radius! It'll be worth it and ask for Erin!

    Staff was very friendly. Location was hard to find. It’s right next to the lumiere but there’s not clear signs in the parking lot. Other than that food was fantastic. Please give them all a raise to what they deserve and stop the tipping culture. I know this restaurant can afford it

    I went with some friends for my birthday and it was so loud the waiters had to shout to get our orders. It’s overly pricey… tbh you have to pay extra to breathe. 7 dollars per person to cut a cake is insane. Even if we kept it on the table without touching it we would’ve still been charged. On top of that I asked if they could just keep my ICECREAM cake in the freezer and the lied saying they didn’t have one and left it outside. My friends didn’t enjoy the food at alll if not for the nice scenery I will give it a 0 but that’s not possible so I give it a 1/10. Save your money and your energy.

    This was our first time at Cinder House, and we hope to return again. Everything was completely awesome. It was my husband’s birthday, and my son recommended Cinder House, knowing that the owner’s own other places we also enjoy. The staff, service, food, and other guests were amazing! We will definitely return, with hopes to sit outside and enjoy the downtown view. The only thing, and just a little thing, because the survey question asked, was that the music on the speakers was just a touch too loud. My husband can’t hear out of one ear, and the folks at the table next to us were having fun and loud, so between the two things, my husband missed half of what our lovely waiter told us, and I had to repeat what he said, or my husband had to re-ask our waiter the next time he came over. But, please know, that will not prevent us from visiting again. We were able to have “dinner talk” during our meal. Overall, everything was OUTSTANDING! So glad my son knew of Cinder House and told me to surprise my husband for his birthday. Thanks again!

    The food was wonderful and it is a lovely venue, especially the outdoor patio. However, our waiter just disappeared during the meal. The manager asked us if we needed anything and got us the check. the waiter then hurried over and grabbed the credit card, processed it, quickly returned it and left without a word. Very rude.

    Alisha was our server and she was fantastic. She gave us great recommendations on food and drinks! There was someone playing loud vdeos on their phone behind us is the only reason I gave moderate on noise level. Everything else was outstanding. Definitely would go back!

    The atmosphere was great, but for the price of the dinner, I was disappointed in the food. At $72 filet should melt in your mouth, not be chewy. We probably will not go back.

    Cinder house was amazing! The ambience and the service were great, they take good care of you when you’re ordering. Tho the food is really tasty, it’s probs not worth the price.     Overpriced for the value. Cocktails were $18 and mediocre. The bartender was sloppy making a mess spilling everywhere ans he made drinks and handing out sticky glasses. Our waiter was great. Food was just ok. Swordfish was really dry and lacked flavor. The sides didn’t save it or bring anything. Cool location and ambiance.

    I love the food as always and our serving lady was very nice and professional. The only disappointing thing is the front desk lady. I left the message when I book the table 1.it's a birthday celebration 2. I wish I can sit outside. unfortunately the weather that day wasn't good so no one sit outside，this is totally fine but the front desk lady didn't see my message at all. She just led us to a random table without any explain. When we ask that can we sit by the window she said they were all reserved，and for the couple hours I stayed there that day，there were AT LEAST one table by the window never occupied. So I am very disappointed with the front desk lady because 1. she didn't read my message，no birthday surprise （even not a simple happy birthday，if you cannot do special event celebration why you ask when I book the table…？）；2. I think she wasn't honest about reserved table when we try to change our spots just to make her work easy （because if she didn't read my message about sitting outside how can she reserve the window side table to other guests based on their wish？If these window side tables are not special reserved，it makes no sense to me that she cannot change for the guest who arrives earlier）. I didn't argue with her because I dont want my birthday friend disappointed that day，but I wish I will have a better experience next time without this unprofessional short white-ish hair front desk young lady.
