We went here for my husband’s birthday.it was a nice evening with good food and drink and a great churro sundae for dessert!

Great atmosphere. Olympics on the TVs. Had a huge margarita, fajitas and my wife had two tacos.

This place was a find. We have lived in Scottsdale many years, but did not know about it. We went for Taco Tuesday, which is the absolute best.

Service was not that great and the food was just OK. We have had better Mexican in Metro Phoenix.

I was only able to request outdoor seating which was fine, but when I arrived, I was able to request bar seating.

Food was excellent, you really need to try the Queso Dip. I went for the Tacos a la carte and three were excellent as well.

I also tried the jalapeño and cucumber margarita. The flavor was great and not just spice.

The restaurant was full so the food did take a minute but was well worth it!

We had a great lunch experience , food is delicious and the service was excellent. Our server checked on us frequently. Will return soon since we live nearby.

We asked for a booth but were told it would be a 40 minute wait, even though we had a reservation and arrived 15 minutes early. That was the only disappointment.

They seemed a little short handed which is happening everywhere. Our server was rushed and seemed to not want to be there. The food was pretty good. I would go back and try it again.

Wonderful Mexican food! Great margaritas and many choices of varied flavors. We are thinking of going there again while on this vacation.

The food is always great, so are the drinks. Service is quick initially then not great. Seating is nice for small tables and big groups.

Usually all 5 Stars but last night was hopefully just a one off. Had chips on floor and food was not the normal 5 Stars as “enchilada style” burrito just barely had any sauce on it.

Service was great, food was yummy and our waiter Steven was perfect!

The happy hour at Cien Agaves is hard to beat!

Good tacos, excellent guacamole and service. Small patio with lots of misting fans was very comfortable.

Bday night out

Nothing special really server seemed too slammed in the section. Drinks took 20 min for a margarita.

Highly disappointing. Upon arrival was told that there was a “glitch” in our reservation and the only seating available was outside. Manager apologized before we were seated and provided $5 off our bill for the mixup. Table outside was not wiped down and birds visited prior to our seating. We wiped the table down ourselves. Server never check on us for refills. Food was ok, but the rice seems to be reheated, it’s not fresh. Had to ask other staff for drink refills and the check, with the response, “ I’ll tell your server.” Server did show up to provide the bill. Patron Beware! Upon receiving our bill tip was preselected. I had to check it myself. Pity, place had promise but fell well short.

Excellent services

Last minute trip created challenges in finding reservations in Old Town Scottsdale, so was glad to find this option. Ambience (indoor/outdoor seating) was pleasant, menu options good for value, excellent housemade guac. Service was a bit rushed and impersonal, but overall enjoyed the meal.

Way too many TV screens for my taste, but the food is excellent, especially the fresh guacamole, topped with pomegranate seeds for an interesting twist, and the ceviche. We loved our jalapeño/cucumber margaritas as well. Many of the wait staff were not wearing masks, which made me a bit uncomfortable as a tourist, but other diners didn't seem to mind.
