Chic dining room and bar, we had a great server, the calamari had good flavor, enjoyed the bruschetta (a different take - more like a salad) and really enjoyed the nightly fish special, sea bass!

The Osso Bucco was excellent, served with the creamy polenta was perfect. We also had the Bruschetta appetizer, and enjoyed it. It's a deconstructed Bruschetta, and the tomato cheese side with shallot pesto balsamic reduction was like a salad served with bread. The olive oil balsamic parmesan dipping sauce was perfection. The location and ambiance are very nice. That part of the street around the Carlton Hotel is really maturing and developing into a foodie destination.

This was our first time at Cielo for lunch and won't be our last! I always love the ambiance and the service, but the lunch menu does not disappoint! Highly recommend Cielo to everyone!

We had another delicious dinner at Cielo. Went for happy hour at 4:00 then dinner at 5. Had the special and Caesar Salad. The bread they bring you is so good. They make it there. Then we went up to the rooftop for after dinner drinks. I had Leonardo PiStachio so good! My husband had the Spicy Avorita. Also very good! We definitely will be back. Juan( the bartender is awesome! All the staff are so attentive!

Cielo is a nice place in Atascadero with good food. I just wish the portions were larger and the prices lower. Quite expensive for what you get.

Our first visit to Atascadero, staying at The Carlton Hotel, it was delightful to walk a block to Cielo and enjoy a great dinner. Charming service, generous portions, good cooking, nice presentation. We had the fish special and the chicken with fettuccine, and shared the lemon cake with raspberry sorbet, both excellent.

This was our first visit. I was excited to try their Carpaccio. I was so bummed they did not serve it with Crostini's. The horrible horse radish ruined the taste of the meat. We scrapped off what we could, but still made the meat bitter. They need to visit Flemings in Palo Alto. They serve the best Carpaccio. I was also excited to have pasta with Bolognese sauce. Tasted so bland. These chefs need to go to Maurizio's in Morgan Hill. All his sauces are amazing!! Never a dull plate there. The roof top bar is okay. I know Atascadero is a small town, but so is Carmel. Vesuvio's is the best roof top bar and it is also small, but so nice and always a small band playing music. Maybe Cielo's needs music? And the plastic wine glasses. Feels like I am drinking out of a sippy cup. Rose Wine, was not the best either. They need to serve Tooth & Nail Rose. That is a spot on Rose!! While waiting to order, we had to flag a waitress down. The girl who got us water, was quick to attend to us. But our waitress...took her sweet time and stood around chatting to co-workers. The cost was too high for a small town. Plus the food was not worth the price. These chefs need to take make changes. Visit a few Italian Rest. Sample their spice levels and see how your food is so bland, its like they dumped out a can of Chef Boyardee.

Complimentery oil and bread, Pizza and velvet cake is really only items that we would recommend. Rib Eye too much fat around edges. Gnocchi like balls of dough. We will give them another try !

I really want to commend our server. My daughter was joining me and was stuck in a traffic jam and was running late. I told our server, and she took my order and didn’t bring it out until my daughter arrived. We enjoyed our food, but the service made it very special.

Such a great dining experience. From the amazing bruschetta appetizer to the wonderful entrees of Chicken Cacciatore and Papardelle Bolognese, to the gelato at the end, everything was perfect. We highly recommended Cielo. Service was wonderful too.

Cielo was a great choice for our dinner. We were in Atascadero for one night only, and we really lucked out—high quality food and exceptional waitstaff. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and enthusiasm. Desi, our server, was so helpful in helping us sort out what food would work best for us. We appreciated her recommendations. We enjoyed all of the food, and would easily recommend it. It has something for everyone.

Everything was very nice, however I do think the meals are overpriced for the portions on some of the meals…. I got the short ribs on some kind of pasta. It was tasty & the meat was tender but it wasn’t that hot. My son got the raviolis & the portion was very small. My husband wasn’t crazy about the menu & thought the pizza was good but not great. The bread & dip was good & the service from Stacy was real good. Overall it was a nice time with good food. We won’t be going back too often as it is very pricey for what you get.

signature rib-eye entree was overcooked although beef quality was high. menu breadth was narrow, no veal dishes which is unusual for a high end Italian themed restaurant. lack of recommendation is based upon the lack of concern evidenced by staff regarding the over cooked steak.

The restaurant was nice and the service efficient and friendly. The starters were mostly tasty, but the osobuco was not what was expected, it was dry and presented in a manner I have never encountered anywhere in the world. When I pointed out to the waitress, it was quickly changed. The service for the Teo little children was quick which was greatly appreciated.
