   The view! The food! The service!! The staff here is so gracious and welcoming. And the food is outstanding! David, our server along with Carlos were full of information about the menus, the cocktails and wines! David also offered insights into other local places to visit! We adored watching the lights come on all over the valley as night fell!

   Cielo was new to us. We live in the area so the views are no surprise - nothing short of spectacular. The ambiance was very nice and elegant but not gaudy. The service was spectacular! Absolutely wonderful. The food was good but not spectacular. The beet salad was delicious and my wife's Branzino fish was very good. The grilled ribeye was not the best cut. It was tough and hard to cut and a little on the cool side . The brussel sprouts were very good but again a bit room-temperature. I will go back for happy hour which I'm told is a different menu than the restaurant.

   Loved the ambiance! Very cool, small. restaurant with great views. The food was ok. I ordered the 16oz ribeye but it was over cooked and not very good. We loved the octopus appetizer however. The desserts were very good as well. Overall for the price the food was not on scale with the cost, but service and view were on point!

    Sat out on the patio overlooking the mountains after hiking in Adero Canyon down the street (despite what it says about dress code, they do allow hikers in hiking attire). Brunch was definitely a tad on the pricey side, as expected for a high end hotel, but was very good. Omelette was up to par with any other brunch place in the Valley. Service was absolutely outstanding, which is usual for a high end hotel, but our waitress was so incredibly sweet. I wish I remember her name. This will probably become my go to after hiking Adero Canyon or any of the nearby trails.

    Off the beaten path high on a hill away from busy Scottsdale. Great place for a nice quiet lunch or afternoon cocktail with a great view. Food prices reasonable, wine by the glass a little pricy, service was great. Would definitely go back again.

    Very disappointing experience. We were enticed by the reviews of an amazing view and decided to go for the restaurant week menu. The food and cocktails were very poor and none of us finished our plates. The view was nice, but patio seating overlooks the hotel pool which distracted from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. We will not be returning; there are far better restaurants in the city, especially for the price.

    The view and the setting is amazing, the food was great it was a perfect spot for a special dinner! The food was great, wine selection was limited due to unavailable choices (but who knows if this was a supply chain issue?) the service was ok too.

    We found both the gazpacho Andalusia and the ricotta bread to be outstanding appetizers. The chicken a la brassa was cooked to perfection, beautifully seasoned, and very moist. The accompanying crispy plantains and roasted potatoes were a delight. The desserts were not their strong suit, they were good but not remarkable. The one described as a chocolate tart would better be described as a lava cake. The cheesecake was good though oddly tinged green. Service was impeccable. The seats were comfortable and the views fabulous. It was a delight to dine somewhere where it was not so loud that you had to shout at each other.

    Service was excellent (TY Betsy) and the view was very nice. Food was very good but not remarkable. The mushrooms appetizer was more like breaded balls of rice, you had to search for the mushroom visually and taste-wise. Four days into Restaurant Week and they were already making substitutions, one for the fish and one for a dessert. For being at the top pricing tier for RW I expected better. The ambience was all about the view.

    The view of the mountains must be the only reason why people go here. The waitress didn't seem interested in us after we chose the restaurant week option even though we also ordered a side from the menu. I specifically requested to sit outside since it was our anniversary but they sat us inside next to the window (not a big deal but still considering i booked it a month ago). Food was meh. I ordered the salmon but it was fishy and my husband ended up trading me his. We will not be going back.

    My boyfriend and I went for an afternoon date. We really wanted to try their restaurant week menu but were advised it wasn’t offered until the evening hours. We didn’t mind and ordered off their brunch menu. My boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed their brunch burger. Sadly the fries that came with were soggy with oil. I ordered the chorizo eggs benedict. I love eggs benny from virtually anywhere. Unfortunately their version was not great. The chorizo itself was fantastic, very flavorful. The bread was cut very thin, the “poached” eggs were hard boiled at best, and the hollandaise sauce was scarce. We did order the prickly pear mimosa and moon dust cocktail. I think the moon dust was my favorite between the two. The service was great, our waiter was very kind and friendly. We had a nice view of the city and overall an okay experience. Not sure that I would go out of my way to recommend this restaurant.

    We were looking for a patio dining experience to celebrate my husband‘s birthday. This restaurant really delivered. Our waitress was literally perfect in her service. Great views, great ambience, super nice people all the way around. The food was very very good I just didn’t care for the octopus. It did not have the texture that I was expecting. Other than that though The evening could not have been more perfect.

    Reserved a couple months in advance (as early as the system allowed) for my husband’s birthday for outside and got seated at a table without a view. When asked to have a different table (at least 4 were available) were told that others had made their reservation earlier by the hostess so our table could not be changed and she thought that was “fair”. Three of the tables were still available one hour later when the hostess sat a high school couple (prom) at a nice table (for 4) who split a salad and left. I never understand why a hostess behaves this way. I’ve worked at many restaurants and if someone arrived and a table(s) was available, they would be given their preference. We had dinner, drinks, and dessert. Our waitress, Elleigh, was helpful, sweet and not pushy. Let us sit without feeling rushed. For a special occasion, due to having no way of knowing if others have made their reservation before you, I would go elsewhere.

    Everything was great except the system was down for accepting credit cards and I had to leave my credit card number manually which is a little scary and not very secure. Wouldn’t take a check. Our waitress, Karina, was excellent.

    I really hate giving bad reviews! But the food was just horrible and really disgusting. We dine everywhere.. Maple and Ash, Steak 44, Maestros…. we wanted to try something new for Mothers Day Dinner. The view is gorgeous but they definitely need a different chef… (ADVICE FOR MANAGEMENT… GET A NEW CHEF) my steak was gross no flavor, looked like it was microwaved and the Sea Bass smelled like it was from the pond, the ribs were just gross… there was 7 of us so we all tried everything. Even the sides were bland and tastes something I would pick up at Walmart on the go and had no flavor. Save your money amd go somewhere else. Our waitress was the sweetest and people there are really nice but the food is like nasty pub food not a high end resort expectation.

    I took my wife and two children for the Mother's Day brunch. It turns out we were the last seating and the food showed that. Had it all even been there it was still over cooked and dry and not at all worth the $85/adult. The service was awful despite them not being busy at all. I cleared our own buffet plates off the table 5 TIMES and had to get new silverware from an empty table nearby. We ordered one round of drinks and were never asked again if we wanted anything. And trust me, knowing how much I was paying for this bad food and worse service I wanted another drink. I usually tip 20%, but the service was so bad and the price so insane for the quality of the food that I was not going to tip. Well, guess what, a mandatory 20% tip added to the bill. Well, no wonder the server did nothing. They were getting paid regardless. We did this same brunch 5 years ago and it was incredible. The presentation was much better, the taste was 10x better, and we actually had service. I will never return to this restaurant because they just phoned this in and charged an arm and a leg. Very, very disappointed. I'm happy to spend this kind of money for a great meal with great service. But, we got neither.

    Mother's Day brunch. Like many other reviews excellent ambiance/views. Staff average. Food poor. For $250 (2 people) many better options. It's a shame for such a nice place. Buffett, many items cold or sitting too long. Pastries and fruit were acceptable but main entrees, poor. Candidly, we most enjoyed the kids menu-grilled cheese and the mac-n-cheese. Waste of time, money and effort.

    My brother and I took our mother for Mother’s Day brunch. The food was tasty, and the service very good. There was a man playing guitar and singing, and it was at just the right volume so we could easily hear each other at our table. We would definitely return for another special occasion.

    Mother’s Day brunch. They really need a new events/ catering director. The serving trays used were not for a self serve brunch. They were for a banquet where someone is serving you. They didn’t have dinner plates but only salad plates and large bowls. No soup spoons. No signs in front of each item telling you what it was. The only way to figure it out was to remove the large top and put it on the adjacent tray while you served yourself or decided to pass. Took forever. The food was mostly cold or way too overcooked. The beef medallions were like little frisbee’s of dried jerky. I’m pretty sure the mashed potatoes were instant and the Shrimp and crab claws had been frozen. The prime rib was good (although cold) and the omelettes were good since they were made right in front of you. Nothing I had stood out as something to go back for. The Staff was very nice and as attentive as could be given that they were clearly short staffed. At times it seemed like no one was in charge and everyone was running around confused. The handing out of flowers was very nice. The ambiance is beautiful, I just wish the quality of the food (for the price charged) matched the beautiful scenery.

    We experienced a very poor presentation of the Mother's Day Brunch. Inappropriate sized plates, condiments it hot sauce and horseradish for shrimp and oyster had to be requested, prime rib served without au jus, hot pan contents poorly marked. Not good! Would not recommend a holiday brunch there. The dining experience does not match the class of the hotel.
