Food was excellent as was the service. Food came out pretty fast which was surprising and felt like we were almost being rushed. But it was a slow Sunday night so didn't mind it. All the dishes were flavorful and rich! Would definitely go back.

We had a 30 min wait for our reservation and the hostesses were super rude. Bar staff was great, food was ok. Service was slow and he server never checked on us. Super cute decor but tables are WAY too close together, I was constantly bumped and run into throughout the entire meal. Hopefully they make some improvements to their front of house team and overall set up to improve the experience.

It’s wonderful to have such an excellent restaurant close to home. It is the type of place though that is worth a long drive. The setting was casual to a little nicer but the overall experience was gourmet all the way. We will be back many times.!

First time at Ciccio Trattoria as it was highly recommended by our daughter. The restaurant is small and lovely. Our wait person, Lauren R. was exceptional. I would definitely recommend the gnocchi and short rib....amazing dinner. Since it was quite full, the noise level was a little high. We will absolutely be back to try their other dishes.

Hostess did not great us with a smile nor did she ask us how she could help us. It was left to me to tell her we had a reservation. She seemed distracted and unhappy the rest of the evening as I had a straight view of the hostess stand all evening. Our server was attentive in the beginning, but after our appetizers came we never saw him again until after our entrees arrived. Entrees came out and our table had not been bussed. We were a 4 top and only half the table received their entrees. When we asked the second runner about ordering more cocktails he was not helpful, told us to wait. Food was outstanding as always! But the service was not the norm. Ciccio can do better, I've experienced it.

We really liked Ciccio. Food is very good, waiter was attentive, very cute little place! The only negative experience was the hostess- she was super unfriendly. Didn’t smile, just looked up our table, walked us there and walked off.

It was our first time to this restaurant and we all agreed we will definitely return. The restaurant is very attractive, food is delicious and service is stellar. We happened to go on a Wednesday night when bottles of wine are 1/2 off for all varietals. There wa also a band playing which was an added plus for a wonderful evening for our group.

I have been on the search for great Italian food in the Dallas area and have found what may come to be a favorite. The lobster ravioli I ordered was amazing, filled perfectly and topped with a fresh tomato sauce. I didn’t try food from the other diners I was with but their entrees looked tasty and they were very pleased with their choices. I can’t wait to go back and work my way through the menu…which I can actually do because it’s priced so reasonably!

Wanted to try this new Italian resturant in McKinney. Friends posted pics on Facebook so 4 of us went Sat. 5/4/23 The setting and decor are lovely and upscale. Nice bar. Service was good. 3 of us ordered their Italian margarita but bar was out of Amaretto last night. 2 of us got the lasagna and 1 of us got the chicken parm. Entrees were just very average in flavor. Disappointed because the resturant itself and decor are outstanding with a cozy bar! We hope they can bring their food flavors up to the impressive level of the resturant.

This is a gem of a place! The food was fantastic. If you are a foodie and love interesting flare this is great for you. Very affordable. Quirky fun decor. It was a Monday and by 6:30 it was packed. You know it’s good if it’s packed on a Monday! The wait staff was not super informed about the menu items. There could be an improvement on the education but the wait staff, but overall great experience!!!

The food the first time we came was fabulous so we brought friends. This evening everything was very salty. We still enjoyed it but it was not as good. The service is friendly but spotty. The restaurant is beautiful, but the noise is deafening to a point conversation is difficult. We came at 6:00 and it was still packed. I will be back and look forward to them working out the kinks.

This was the 2 nd time going here. I had the Waygu steak both times. The first time it was delicious and couldn’t wait to come back and have it again. Last night was dry and overcooked for medium rare. Our waiter had only been there a week and did a great job

Appetizers and drinks were great…but that’s where it ends. Entrees where cold, atmosphere was so so and our take out order took 45 minutes while half the kitchen staff sat at the bar. Spent over $400 on dinner but felt like we just left Panera.

Decided on the spur of the moment to go to dinner. Decided on Ciccio’s and the had a reservation open for 6:45. We were seated immediately and greeted by our waiter, Alexis. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and pairing wines. The food was wonderful. The wine was perfect. Will definitely return.

We are regulars at this lovely neighborhood restaurant. On prior visits I have given them 5 stars. Apparently the word is out because last night it was packed. We had a reservation made 6 days in advance but we’re seated in the back of the bar. There were lots of people arriving and after waiting to be seen by a waiter the hostess apologized for having forgotten to tell our server we were present. Our server was very nice. Polenta appetizer was wonderful as always. Wagyu strip was very good but serving about 3/4 the size they served the previous week. Branzino was very good. But, my wife ordered salmon and it was omitted by the kitchen. Our server apologized and brought it to us to go as the rest of us had finished. She did make it complimentary. My assessment would be they weren’t ready to be so busy. I am happy for their success but it sure made for a different experience than the 5 stars we had come to expect.

We had reservations through open table and upon showing up they said we are behind so we waited 45 min and still no table. They overbooked. The noice level was awful. I do not plan to go back until they figure out how to run the place.
