Very attentive service. Good food. Excellent pianist with a lovely voice. Nice spot to grab a meal before a theater show.

Nothing exciting, but not a bad place to go. We went hoping there would be a good Wine Week selection/pairing. The wine list was rather dull. Nothing unique. You could get the same items at the grocery store. Food was good. Not outstanding, but good enough. The server was very nice and friendly, and the rest of the staff was nice and helpful and thanked us for coming it. It has a semi fancy atmosphere, without being pretentious. I don't have to go back, but at least I tried it.

We missed the old Cibo, but the newly re-opened Cibo is even better. Great food, good variety, fantastic service, reasonably priced for the city. Thanks for returning; we will be back!

The first bad sign was when we walked in, a large party that was seated walked out and told us we would be eating 3 hours later. Not heeding their warning we stayed, then another large party walked out who hadn't been seated walked out and said they had been waiting for close to an hour. Now the restaurant was not at all packed. We were seated maybe 15 minutes after our reservation time. The waitress asked us for our drink order, we each get a beer. She brings the beer over and proceeds to knock over the milk on the table (which makes no sense as to why there would be milk on the table since no one ordered coffee and we just sat there) and the milk gets all over my pants, then as if that wasn't enough she drops the beers. Still, we stuck around, ordered. To no surprise the one thing I wanted as an appetizer (the mussels) were sold out (again, don't see how if the restaurant was empty) so we were stuck with fried calamari, which was overly salty, the entree I had was gross (lamb ragu) and the dessert was never put in so we had to wait until another waitress saw us just sitting there. Horrible experience. I'm not from Philly and I have to say if this is how establishments run out there, I might as well just order Papa Johns or Dominos

This was our first time at Cibo and we had an excellent experience!

The ambiance was so romantic and the pianist was very talented. We went with the theatre pre-fixe menu and everything was delicious! We both had the caprese salad for starter and tiramisu for dessert - both well made and great proportions. I had the chicken parmesan and that was also excellent, but my husband's braised pork belly was the showstopper! The flavors we're incredible!

We definitely recommend and hope to come back when we visit the city again!

Service was terrible - they were definitely understaffed for a Saturday night. It took forever to get drinks and food. We gave ours 2 hours for dinner before a show and wasn’t able to get dessert because of the service. We’ll definitely rethink about going back anytime soon.

Service was absolutely horrible. Our server took the order, never saw her again until we had to ask the host at the front desk to find her. Food was lukewarm. Waited 45 minutes for dessert, even though it was ordered with our dinner. My friend got hers but mine was wrong. Waited another 15 minutes, still didn’t get it. Had to leave to catch a show (we were there for two hours!). Went to the manager about it, as well as the fact that we were given someone else’s check! She did take my dessert off the bill but it was a terrible experience. Will never go back.

We went for the live Broadway tunes as part of the Philly Theater Week. We enjoyed the excellent prix fixe menu and happy hour drink specials. Our server was very attentive and made great recommendations.

Spent Valentine’s Day here . Great romantic spot . Service was good .Our waitress was also one of the bartenders there so she knew exactly what drinks to recommend. Since because it was a holiday they had a fixed menu . Wish they had more of a selection but overall a great experience

Honestly it felt like the place was a “pop-up restaurant” solely for the Valentine’s Day crowd. Our server was seemingly “in the weeds” with 3 tables, my chicken parm was awful (so hard to mess that up), and I’m not one to complain AT all! The men’s bathroom had political garbage inked on the wallpaper..... just an overall bad experience. I’ll never return.

We had a 7:30 reservation. It was a Saturday night and the restaurant was not busy. The draw to trying Cibo was the promise of singing waiters/broadway music. Well , we heard one (1) song performed. There was a piano player who stopped at 9pm. Our plan was to enjoy a nice dinner then sit at the bar for a while and enjoy the performers. One song! Very disappointing.

On the other hand, kudos to our waiter. He was very personable, friendly, knowledgeable and the one singer we heard.

We will not be coming back.

We love this moderately-priced restaurant for pre Philadelphia Orchestra concerts. The food is dependably good, the service excellent and drinks creative. The restaurant offers a pianist that is complimentary, not obtrusive. You can actually hear yourself talk but still enjoy the music. This was our fourth visit but won't be the last.

The food was good and the server was nice but they ran out of several items on an already limited menu, they messed up one of the meals and the drinks were extremely slow to come out even though the bartender was not busy. The piano player was decent and the entire staff was pleasant.

Arrived at 8 pm with reservation took them an hour to have sever take our orders then we found out I.t wasnt Sever I.t was The hostess so I.t took her longer to take the orders then the food took another 1 in a half to come out food was great won’t go back again

How happy we were to have found this restaurant! We were all visiting from out of town and I always trust Open Table to find a good place. From the minute we walked in the staff could not have been nicer or more attentive. The food was excellent. Our seating was fantastic - we were a group of 8 but we weren't squeezed into a traditional seating area, our table was sort of by itself and it allowed us to talk among the 8 of us easier because the noise level was low. They did have live music - a gentleman playing at the piano that made me say "why don't more restaurants do this anymore, I miss it!". Even as we were leaving, after we had already settled the check, the waiter stopped by and gave us some tips for the city that evening. The prices were very reasonable also. I can't think of anything that I would have changed about our experience, a great time was had by all!

I usually do not put in any negative reviews however our experience here was dreadful. We had 7:30 reservations last Friday night. Stood at the door for 15mins before the hostess came out (at 7:40). She told us our table was not ready and asked us to have a seat at the chairs behind the hostess stand. We sat there for another 10mins - she came back to tell us that our table was still not ready since the people before us were still sitting there. There were many open tables and I asked can we just sit at a different table. She said no. About 5 mins later she said there was a table at that bar if we want it - it was by the door and we had sat there and seen many people at these tables looking around for their waitress/waiter getting very frustrated. We also had 2 young girls with us so I said no. During this time we were never offered a glass of water, an apology - nothing. Finally at 8;10 I called the Dandelion restaurant - explained the situation - that we were still sitting behind the hostess stand at this point - they apologized for the poor experience that we were experiencing. They said to come right over and they would get us seated within 30mins - which they did. I looked up Cibo the next day to call and complain and was not surprised at all that no one answered the phone.
