Always a wonderful atmosphere and amazing food. Our family has some favorites that never disappoint - especially the Stromboli. Pizzas are delicious as well!
This was our first time here to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. We loved it! The staff was just the right amount of attentive and engaging, the menu was awesome and the food even better! I loved the ambiance - the booth made it cozy and inviting on a cold evening and I felt like it was a great value. We will definitely be back!!
Chose cibo based on friends experience. The menu was fine and atmosphere too. The service was not good. Our food came out in shifts (5:30 reservation for 6). One pizza came out half baked and 15 minutes after the first pizza which was burnt. The server blamed the kitchen. The manager blamed the kitchen. They took off one glass of wine and the half baked pizza. Not a good experience.
The ambience and food were fantastic! We wish there had been more gluten free options for one of our party, but otherwise everything was delicious!
Excellent waitstaff, excellent food. A lovely evening celebrating a family birthday.
Everything was outstanding, highly recommend
The pizza and drinks were amazing as always, we frequent here quite often and are never disappointed
Always ALWAYS fantastic food and service. One of our favorites for family events!
Fun place for a girl's night out celebrating a birthday. It is a loud place, but fun. Also, it can get very warm inside due to the pizza oven. Our server was super accommodating and helped course out the food. Tables are pretty small if you have a larger party so you can't have a ton of dishes on the table. The did run out of one of their wine specials they were promoting, so that was poor planning. But the food was great. We'll definitely go back. Looks like they have an amazing happy hour too that's family friendly.
Sat at the bar, watched & talked with cooks & pizza maker.
Lots of fun
New place for us and it did not disappoint. Great food and service. Sat at bar and watch the pizza chef make one great pizza after another.
4 out of 5 of us were very disappointed with our meals. The service and ambiance were great. We won't return because of the mediocre food quality though.
Happy hour food was at a great price. I could smell the food from down the street. The wood fired pizza was thin and the crust was perfect. I can't wait to go again!
I love this place. My partner and I have been here twice now, both times the food has been excellent, the people have been nice, the wine has been good and the overall experience has been positive. We're excited to go back a lot more to try more menu items. Michael at the Pizza Counter was especially nice to talk to.
Always amazing food and service at CIBO. Love their pizza and also the pasta dishes.
A must when you're on Division St
First visit, food good, enjoyable experience; would try again and would recommend to friends
Best value restaurant in the city. Great food reasonably priced.
The food is absolutely stellar. The service is great. The waiters were courteous, prompt, and frequent in terms of checking in on us. Overall, the wait staff seemed on top of their game.
The ambiance was also very good. The lighting is soft, and the glow from the bar and pizza oven are pleasant.
The noise level was never a bother. We were never distracted by a rowdy kitchen, but the gentle hum from other guests was pleasant.
We had pizza, pasta bolognese, baked cauliflower dough with pesto on it, and braised boar, and everything was absolutely top-notch.
This is the 4th time we've been here and we love the place. The food is excellent, the service is excellent, and we always leave feeling great. Don't change a thing.
Great food and service for a birthday celebration. We’ll be back!
LOVE this restaurant more than anything. The pizza, pasta, and appetizers are incredible. I used to live in Italy and the food at Cibo is so spot on! The only part that lacks is their wait-staff. The gentleman that waited on us had difficulty making eye contact, and only worries about what the women wanted at the table, and didn't wait for the men to order. It was odd. After the food was dropped, no one came by to see if we needed anything. One of our friends wanted to order a glass of wine with her pizza, but since no one came by she wen't without. It was a bummer not to have the additional service that most customers expect to receive when going to a a nice establishment. It seemed like the only person working tables with personality and gusto was the owner or manager. The staff who greeted us were super friendly, but the wait staff could use a bit of polish.
A great neighborhood Italian spot! We dont live anywhere close but make the trek across town every so often to enjoy pizza and great wine in this welcoming and relaxing environment.
It was busy for a Tuesday. Wait person was impatient and fairly inattentive. Good food. They can’t accommodate a large party comfortably. We had 8 and we had to cram into a large booth with one person in a chair at the end of the table. They should have called us to let us know when they saw the reservation.
Love the big booths, food delicious, good cocktails and wine, plus friendly service!
better italian elsewhere in portland. Poor service as well

Cibo is always great! Great food, great wine, and fun atmosphere!
Very nice, straightforward but high quality neighborhood Italian with good service. The menu is a little creative while staying true to a simple vision. Little details like very good house bread and oil elevate the meal.
Food is amazing and very attentive service.
Love the food! Love the service, atmosphere and the staff were great!
We had a great outdoor happy hour for our party of six. The food was outstanding as usual and our server Kaitlyn was friendly, quick and attentive.
Love this place. Had the mussels and bolognese. Both were amazing.
Everthing was fine except for the NOISE LEVEL (loud music) requiring us (table of 5) to almost yell if we wished to be heard.
We came back to Cibo because of fond memories of our last visit to Portland in 2017. We really enjoyed the”Roman Meatball” entree and were very disappointed that it was no longer on the menu.🙁
We had to order other menu items instead, and they were delicious.
Always a nice experience at Cibos. Service was outstanding! We always order and enjoy the Classic Cecina and octopus salad!
First time eating here June 2019. Had pizza, caprese, sautéed spinach and chicken fritter things. All of it was great and I can't wait to return. We sat at the bar and would probably try to get a table next time due to the space constraints and lack of backs on the stools. Service was good and the staff was friendly.
We stood in the doorway for a solid 5 minutes as employees passed us by over and over again until someone said - hello. We had a reservation, which was a good idea. Food was superb!
Delicious food & fun atmosphere. Staff overall has little personality with perfunctory service... but I guess that’s just Portland service at this point!!!
Fantastic!! Cibo is my go-to spot for outings with friends!
