We frequently have a week-night dinner date and often it is here. The food is reliably great! The options go from pizza to outstanding seafood and pasta dishes.
I often go to Cibo for lunch. The apps are sizable, making it easy to share several with their house wine by the glass which is also very good.
And let's not forget the awesome warm bread and focaccia served with a tasty olive oil plate and assorted peppers, salts and cheese.
Based on numerous, highly positive reviews on TripAdvisor, we took our chances last minute on Cibo Matto when other plans fell through. Turned out to be a perfect midway point for meeting friends who live quite a distance away. We were seated promptly, server was delightful, menu had many options, and the food (we all had dinner salads) was nicely presented and very tasty. I think we've found our new meeting place! Will definitely return.
Nancy was a great server. We enjoyed the wedge with bacon pieces. Delicious. The roasted chicken was flavorful and the spinach was remarkable—not sure how it achieved such depth of flavor. I sprinkled some parm on it. Also heaven. My boyfriend swooned over ther pork. And my daughter always comes for the chicken and broccoli—a consistent favorite. Finally, the bread pudding was not too sweet with a satisfying texture. I would eat that meal with that server again!!
Food is excellent and the atmosphere is very nice, casual and friendly like a small neighborhood restaurant. It is owned by the same people who own Corfino in Easton where the menu is almost exactly the same, but the atmosphere is a bit more trandy and upscale. Both are great.
Cibo is amazing every time. Al dente pasta and amazing dishes.
As good as ever. Jenna is their best server!! We always enjoy our meals. Great Place!!!
Just healthy delicious menu options, service is always friendly and welcoming. Never disappoints.
Way better than it would appear from its strip mall location, the focus is on the kitchen, which has an extensive and varied menu. From raw oysters to traditional Italian dishes, there is something for everyone. Portions are often large, so don't be afraid to share and save some space for an app or dessert. Ambiance is Pizza Restaurant, so maybe not the choice for an intimate dinner, but the food is top notch and a cut above more trendy spots that aim to be fine dining. If it was not 25 minutes away, we'd be there a lot more often.
Food was expensive but worth it. Service and food were excellent. A little noisy with next table very close. Sort of noisy.
Very good experience, friendly attentive service and excellent food. Will definitely be back.
Love this place. Food is always good and great selections.
A good dining experience in all regards. Solid choice for every day type dining with a menu that has something for everyone. Reservations seem to be a must at this popular local spot.
What a wonderful discovery. We had gone to the movies in Foxboro, and wanted to have a bite to eat after the movie. Our usual haunts were all busy, so we found this place on opentable, and decided to try it out. It was wonderful. We will be back. Great Italian food, lovely relaxed atmosphere, and excellent drinks, including cocktails, wine and all kinds of beer. An improbable location but we will make the trek again.
Wasn’t impressed.. Cramped seating, small portions for cost. Saw more people ordering pizza than dinner entrees. Think we would go back to try their pizza
Always great. Server was conscientious and anticipated our every need. Can't wait to return
Tasty appetizer. Sea Bass and Mahi Mahi dinners were fresh, cooked and presented well. Waitress was a little fast but got everything ok.
Felt like we were being rushed through meal service and rushed out so they could give our table to someone else, but food was decent and our server was kind.
Delicious Italian food selection. Perfect, fresh pasta, cooked "al dente." Definitely try the arancini!
Bread was very cold, the 3 tiny scallops were mediocre, the zucchini under my husbans fish were bland, my chicken piccata was not a true piccata, only a couple of the chicken pieces were breaded, too many tomatoes and only a few capers. Pasta sauce pink with hardly a hint of tomato and the linguine included a big clump in it. Just awful!! Horrible experience at a high price as we tried to celebrate Valentine’s Day. You should fix your acoustics to provide some ambiance and an opportunity to talk quietly at dinner.
Made the reservation well in advance. Was given a table at the end of the bench - was very cramped. We were going to stay for dessert and an after dinner drink but decided against it because of the tight quarters
We love Cibo Matto! So many great food options. One of my all time favorite places to eat.
My husband and I went for Valentines Day. We got the scallops for an app from the Valentines Day menu which were amazing, but the portion for 2 people was way to small. You got 3 small scallops, that’s 1 1/2 per person. I got the swordfish fish from the Valentine’s Day menu. It was a little to dry for my liking. My husband got the lobster fettuccine. He loved it.. the drinks were also very good. We both got 50 shades of pink.
Good food and service was fast
We visit Cibo Matto often, for a local restaurant it is good quality food. Unfortunately they never seem to get the salmon cooked right. They say they cook it medium but it is alway over cooked but they never mind fixing it, but it does get annoying when everyone else is eating and you are waiting for your food.
The fired oysters are delicious and the guys usually like the veal dish.
Love sitting at the bar if a small group and if get there early enough since it is small
This our go to restaurant whenever my husband and I get the chance to go out by ourselves or with friends. Food is great and the service is wonderful.
We made an early reservation as we had theater tickets, and were surprised at the crowd. Nevertheless, we were served promptly, enjoying a delicious meal. Although we have dined here many times, had never had the quinoa, feasted squash salad. It was exceptional. As well, the scallop and shrimp over tortellini was delicious. Although my husband enjoyed the vegetable risotto, he did say it was over-salted and was thirsty all evening. The gingerbread Sundae was a decadent shared treat, and the coffee is always great!
As always, food was excellent, service friendly and prompt. Highly recommend this restaurant.
We love love love cibo motto. The food service with Jenna is always the best. We always bring friend and they enjoy it too. Great restaurant!!!
Attentive, fun wait staff ( Jenna) and it’s the food, it is unbelievably good.
Megan the bar tender and Alexandra the manager make the experience. They’re both outstanding at their jobs and make you feel right at home.
One of our favorite local restaurants. I indicated in Open Table reservation, when asked, that we were celebrating my husband's birthday. The restaurant either did not see this in the reservation or chose to ignore. Either way, if the data is not going to be used, it shouldn't be asked during the reservation process.
Food was very good as always. Was disappointed in our seats as were were crammed into a table next to another party right by the door. If it wasn't my husband's birthday it wouldn't be a big deal. Service is always good at best . Waitress does not bring food to table as servers from the kitchen do. It always seems to take a while for the waitress to come over to make sure food is as ordered and to check if you need anything. This seems to be the case whenever we dine here.
All is all, one of the best local restaurants.
Our server, Andy, was very attentive and friendly. The food came out quickly and tasted amazing! We had a great experience.
Cibo Matto is our favorite restaurant. When we have family visiting from out of state, we always take them there. Very dependable service, consistently good food, and nice atmosphere. Love it.
Love it was awesome. Best restaurant around!
Service is always great and fpr a Suburban place the food is quite nicley prepared. Id say some items are consistently too salty but realize that may be a personal preference thing
It was my daughter's birthday. She turned 18. She always loves to go here. We told the waitress it was her 18th birthday. We ordered dessert and it came out to her with a candle and a very sweet happy birthday from other waitresses as well . Very nice effort. Thank you
We have been to Cibo Matto many times and always enjoy it. It’s pretty casual but in a comfortable way, the service is excellent and the food is very good for the price. The specials are usually exceptional depending on your taste. Unfortunately (for people like us) it has become a very popular restaurant, which can result in a long wait on Saturday or even Sunday nights even with reservations. Still worth it.
Seated towards the front door which was drafty.
Waiter was very attentive and friendly.
Meal was very good. Bit pricey for ambiance.
Atmosphere more like a local pub.
Everything in the menu is excellent; this is what makes it difficult to choose which items to order. In fact, appetizers are so good you can make a meal out of them without even ordering
any entrees. Servers are knowledgeable, friendly & service is good! Prices are reasonable for the fare. All in all a great experience!
