First time since the change from Rossi to CIBO. Have been to other CIBO eateries in Wilmslow and Disley. Food was good . The room in MCR seems very overcrowded. We couldn’t converse properly with our friends because of the noise levels and the lack of space around the tables. Such a shame .

The overall experience was ok, it was my wife’s birthday and it was a treat, every thing seemed very rushed, to the point that part of my starter flew off the plate when it was being delivered to the table, I was told that the items that landed on the floor would be replaced, that duly happened by bringing me a side plate with 2 crisps on,it did not seam to be what I saw on the floor as it needed wiping up, not just something dry, the way that it was handled was poor. As we had spent over £200 on a meal for two I did not feel it was special, as it had been when we visited Rosso. I did mention the incident but the response was I got you some more!

The food was tasted like it had been sat around for a while , the steak was £37 a come with no sides and was the size of a McDonald’s nugget ridiculous . My girlfriend got the pasta and the bacon we overly chewy and the pasta was cold . Bill came to £90 and we was severely disappointed , it’s a beautiful restaurant interior wise but I guess that lets them serve mediocre food and charge high prices .

The food we received was very tasty but lukewarm. One of our party ordered a drink and we had to ask three times for the drink, which eventually came. Our initial server was very good, attentive and helpful When we requested our bill the deposit we paid was not deducted and he had to request it was taken off. This was then done without hesitation or question. We paid the service charge but later regretted paying the recommended amount as the overall service wasn’t great. We probably wouldn’t look to return there.

It was my first date in a while and i was keen on making a really good impression.. which i believe i did, she enjoyed the food and the drinks.. i believe i just might have met the love of my life .. its safe to say i made it through the first date .. thank you Cibo Loved my experience yesterday it was worth it
