Cibo E Beve
Another best meal at cibo e beve I loved it.
Had a great evening with friends. One of our guests is vegan and various options were offered. Irvin our server was excellent and made our evening. Delicious food and great wine choices.
Two birthdays. Had called ahead to make sure they were celebrated. Nothing. Although the table next to us got candles and dessert. Had to chase down the waiter, waited forever for dessert which was gelato. We ordered one scoop of vanilla and one of strawberry. Waiter came to the table with 2 HUGE bowls, one of vanilla and one of strawberry. When we again clarified our order, he said we couldn’t have that because the kitchen won’t make it that way. After coming for several years, we’ve decided not to come back.
This was our first time here. Went for Valentine's Day with our teenage daughter. Her chicken piccata was good. My appetizer of grilled clams, shrimp and octopus was greasy with little flavor. My main course of sea bass was at best OK. The sauce had very little flavor.
The bread was served with the crust burned. The olive oil for dipping was quite bland. I get more flavor from a premium olive oil I purchase at Whole Foods.
Net: for the amount of money paid, our favorite Pricci's is so much better for the same money.
Fantastic! Not too loud even though it was a busy Friday night. Super service with Dan. Food was top rate. We will 100% return!
My wife and I were celebrating our 52nd anniversary. We had a wonderful tasty meal. The portions were large enough for each of us to have two meals from it.
The service was excellent, attentive without being overbearing.
I highly recommend this restaurant.
Cibo E Beve is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is delicious , the ambiance is lovely and it is in our neighborhood. Love Cibo!!
Cibo e Beve is a delightful place to dine for lunch or dinner. The menu and the wine selection will impress you. The ambience, and the friendly staff all contribute to a great dining experience. This elegant, well managed restaurant will have you returning again and again! Thank you Irwin, Alfredo, and Gianni for making us feel comfortable & appreciated. And thank you Chef Linda for your delicious works of art. Tante Grazie!
Excellent food and service! Thank you 😊
We sat at the bar and had absolutely outstanding service from our bartender Jennifer. The food was amazing, starting with the octopus as an appetizer, really generous portion. One of us had the lasagna and the other carbonara, again generous portions which made an excellent lunch the next day. Great atmosphere, the owner or manager came by several times to make sure we were happy with the food and service. This was our first time at Cibo E Beve and it will not be our last.
Obviously understaffed. I saw our server handling at least 10 other tables. From the time we got our wine, it took another 20min just to take food order. She was great, don't get me wrong, but she was completely over worked.
I made reservations for my boyfriends birthday dinner. This was our first time enjoying this restaurant. Everything was AMAZING! The service was great and the food was perfect. We ordered way too much because we wanted to try everything. We ended up ordering a pizza as an appetizer. The pizza was the best I’ve had since NY. Then we couldn’t decide on main entree’s so we got chicken parmigiana with spaghetti, filet mignon with demi glaze served with the best little potatoes and fresh spinach AND the carbonara! His birthday desert was equally amazing. We had the tiramisu and a cannoli. It was exactly what we wanted and we are really enjoying our leftovers. I can’t wait to go back!
On a very busy evening, Cibo was excellent The food was delicious and our server handled our group of seven with professionalism and grace.
FOOD WAS GOOD,SERVICE WAS GOOD EVERTHING WAS WONDERFUL
Great restaurant with excellent food & service. Must try the grilled artichokes and stay for the tiramisu! Overall a perfect spot to dine with family and friends.
1/2 off on wine Thursday night.
Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. I loved it!
love what Chef Linda and Gianni do with their restaurant, had not been there in a while and will return soon
We went at 9 pm on a Sunday, and we were the only people in the restaurant. The arugula/ autumn salad was decent. The truffle pizza was too salty, and the spinach ravioli was no better than frozen. The waitress was super nice, and the cook gave us a cannoli on the house since we ordered a dish they were out of that evening. Food was mediocre. Service was great.
Service was very good. Food was generally good. Two dishes were disappointing. The calamari in the fritto misto was small, overly breaded and did not include any tentacles which I associate with better quality fried calamari. The orecchiette alla rustica was disappointing. The orecchiette itself was not properly cooked and was generally clumped with two or three pieces stuck together. That made the dish overly dense with heavy pasta destroying any delicacy the sauce.
We have been to Cibo several times and find the same excellent quality of food, drink and service every time!
My family and I went for Thanksgiving 2019 everything was absolutely phenomenal. The food was great, the service was great and we will definitely be back!!!
Great meal! Food and service was terrific. I had to take away one star for ambiance because the booth was VERY uncomfortable... I suggest a table if there are four of you.... :-) We will be back for sure.
This was our first time and everything was verygood.
I would let a friend know about it but would recommend a booth instead of a table I felt like I was eating with the ppl next to me. And I was taking my wife out for her birthday it would have been nice to have more private conversations
Amazing food, amazing hosts/servers/bartender. Gianni knows how to entertain and this small restaurant is an Italian food paradise and great find.
GREAT ITALIAN RESTAURANT TOP 5 IN THE CITY
Service was great, but food was not good at all, especially for price. Two people ordered the lasagna and both thought it was dry and mushy....like frozen for a while and reheated. Pizza was just ok, hard to mess that up, and the salmon was dry. However, the tiramisu was fantastic.
This was our first time back here in a few years, and we were a bit let down on this visit. While two of the dishes our table had were both good, the pasta in one of our dishes was overcooked. At an Italian restaurant, I unfortunately can't overlook that. The service was fine.
LOVE this place - our favorite GO-TO for a great meal and ambiance!!
It is a nice place but lacks a good wine list, and basic Italian entrees. My husband loves the basic Italian foods like spaghetti and meatball, lasagna etc. which were not on the menu. The food is good, I had chicken piccata, it was served with mashed potatoes I would like to have had the option for a pasta. I would go back if others in my party really wanted to go but it would not be a first choice for me.
Amazing food. We loved everything we had and the pasta couldn't be beat. The only down side was the $14 cocktails - wish the drinks were a little more affordable.
Had great time, was our anniversary. Good location ,since we were going to Chastain to see Chicago.
Wonderful food, service and information on wines!
Sea bass was a bit fishy. My meatballs were undercooked. Everything else - arugula salad, soup, fish pasta, bombe dessert so delicious
Great food, great service, nice room, but the acoustics are lousy. Hard to hear my company.
This was disappointing- food pretty ordinary, yet quite expensive. The chicken parmesan was heavy and uninteresting, the veal piccata was mostly artichoke hearts. Not many wines available by the glass. The waiter was not informed about the menu, could offer no insights or suggestions, we ordered wine by the number listed next to the name of the wine- the waiter didn’t know anything about the wine list. It really was a poor meal- we will not return.
Carbonara was delicious. Best I've had in Atlanta.
Tried this after reading the menu online. Now our new favorite! Absolutely perfect.
