Cibo E Beve
Andrei was our server. He was great. The owner was very attentive and nice.
on August 11, we went for dinner to Cibo E Beve. The dinner was excellent. We enjoyed Florentine cuisine, prompt and unobtrusive service, ready to accommodate any of our needs, friendly conversation with the owner of the place. Besides good food, we learned a lot about Florence and Italy in general. We will definitely return there.
We have a dinner group and try new-to-us restaurants about once a month. We will return to this one soon!!!
Food is amazing. Portions are huge. You can get a salad and share and entree and leave there satisfied.
Always awesome and they really appreciate our business
This used to be a neighborhood favorite of ours. Not good like it used to be; average at best now. Server was oddly despondent
We were initially seated in one of the booths, but were moved after we found them to be too small for four adults. Food was very good, with large portions, and flavorful plates. Mussel appetizer had mussels individually placed in the bowl very just being dumped in. They also had a hint of red pepper, very good. As was the burrata and Caesar salad apps. Entrees were large portioned, and also very good. Spaghetti and meatballs, while not on the menu. Had two huge flavorful meatballs. Lobster and pasta was good, could have had more lobster, and a more briny flavor. Service was the downside, had to hunt for bread service, tea refills, and a check. However, the food was worth the service shortfall. It is rather loud, in the small space, outside seating may be the better choice, weather permitting
Authentic, popular Italian restaurant, knows good service.
Awesome. They went above and beyond
One of my pet peeves is when servers don't introduce themselves so you know who is serving you from the beginning of your visit. Andre was very pleasant and engaging. I asked if there was a special. To have only a few guests in the restaurant at 11:45 AM, the food took longer to arrive than we expected. The carbonara was excellent and the pasta had a nice chew. The shrimp fra diavolo pasta was not pleasing to my guest. He ate the shrimp so it wasn't a wasted effort but left the pasta because he felt it was salty and the sauce was bland/unseasoned. He chose not to send it back or order something else because of how long it took the first dish to arrive. We subsequently ordered a Caesar salad that was split between the two of us but we didn't feel it was worth the $10 cost in terms of freshness and presentation. Andre was a good host and he brought a complimentary tiramisu in honor of our shared July birthdays. It was delicious.
Some observations: When the guests next to us received their food, we noticed a terrible and striking odor. It was like spoiled seafood was exposed and we noticed it as we wrapped up our dessert and waited for the check (approx. 12 mins). Another table of guest appeared to have noticed as they were leaving. Not all restaurants do this but it would have been a nice touch to tidy the table of debris [as well as plates] to make way for dessert or the check. Again, Andre was a good host but the overall experience was not great and we expected more based on the reviews. Not our day it seems.
Fantastic food, great wait staff, wonderful restaurant!
In town for a short business trip. Had a group of 5. Seating was comfortable. Not too loud to hold a conversation. Staff very accomodating and attentive. Food was outstanding. Everyone in the group thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Would highly recommend.
Very good servive. Great food portions too!
We go here often, and it never disappoints. I had the spaghetti and meatballs (not on the menu, but of course they will make it), and my husband had the chicken. A great, casual restaurant.
Food and service was excellent. Has a great vibe! We’ll be back.
Great meal! Great service
My meal(Bronzini entree) was fine, but my wife had the roasted chicken and she was not pleased as she found the chicken undercooked.
Service was not the best, however, I’m willing to make allowances as it was the server’s first day on the job.
Excellent food and excellent attentive service
It was very warm the entire time we were in the restaurant making it difficult to enjoy the food. Our waitress was not very attentive. Typically we have a great experience at this restaurant.
The server was extremely rude, the food was bland and overpriced for the flavor
Such a nice place! able to accommodate a picky eater too!
Our waitress was a little over zealous and approached us almost immediately asking whether we were ready to order, she did it a few times and we kept saying we weren’t ready yet. I think she finally got the message... otherwise we all enjoyed the food (we each had different things), the ambiance, etc. we have been before and will definitely return!
We sat outside. It was a beautiful evening to spend with friends.
Our first time visiting after seeing them on Atlanta Eats. The food and service were great. I expected to be a more "white" tablecloth kind of place. It was a long drive for us from Cartersville in traffic. It's a nice neighborhood place but not worth the hassle to get to from where we live.
Food was alright, nothing special. My husband is Italian so I’m spoiled with good Italian food. I think the calamari was previously frozen and a little too breaded for my taste. Portions are massive even if you split. Decent wine selection and bottles are half off on Thursday. That said, not sure what it was but I ended up getting sick later that night. Unlikely we will be back any time soon.
Love this place!
This is truly one of the best restaurants in the Metro area. The owner and manager is truly passionate about his food and it shows. They are extremely accommodating, the service is over the top, and the food is perfect. If you’re a first timer, have the carbonara or the veal Marsala.
The octopus appetizer was great. They were out of the risotto. My wife loved the veal marsala.
The location was great and service was amazing, but my dish was disappointing (though my friends dishes did appear better). I got cacio e pepe and it was very bland--just noodles swimming in butter. The prices seemed a little high for what was delivered.
Fantastic pasta. Fantastic. Perfectly cooked, not overwhelmed with sauce.
Excellent food, Mr Gianni!
The reasons I didnt Give it a 5 star review is our service was not great, it was so loud that the server got a couple of our orders wrong, she was nowhere to be found on a couple occasions but the food was really good. I would Go back. It was Mother’s day, so it was pretty busy. It’s a small space and the acoustics and are not the best. But we had a good time and enjoyed the food. Limited in sandy springs. Can’t be too picky ;)
Came here with the family for Mother's Day. Reserved the table. Expected it would be busy. With that being said, everything from the moment we entered fell short of expectations. The greeter seemed very bothered with having to seat us upon arrival. And her demeanor never wavered.
It took over 10 minutes just to get water to the table. And mind you, there were still open tables when we arrived so they weren't 100% sat at that point. I can only assume that someone noticed we hadn't been helped and our server was recruited to help out. She wasn't super thrilled to see us either.
So, food. The first basket of bread was amazing. Super flaky with a nice crust and very flavorful and soft center. We tried to stop ourselves from eating it all, but there was just no helping it. We put the basket at the end of the table, hoping that would be the universal sign for a refill... we thought wrong. We ordered the brussels sprouts and their noted meatballs for apps. The brussels sprouts were amazing! One of the best things we had all night. Then the highly anticipated meatballs came out (mind you it took nearly 40 minutes for us to get the one appetizer, and we ordered them at the same time; we completely finished the first app prior to the 2nd arriving at the table) and we immediately cut into the two large pieces of meat. And were met with disappointment. The center of both was pink, like a rare steak. The meatballs themselves tasted a little... off. And you could definitely see all of the meat fat in the gravy on the plate. Which may not have been a problem had they been fully cooked.
We got 4 entrees and split them amongst the table:
- The equivalent of the meat lovers pizza - very good. just a touch dry.
- chicken parmigiana - excellent pasta and chicken
- veal scaloppine alla marsala - strange potato like pieces on top, were tough and not tasty; veal was good; overall dish ok
- beef short rib ravioli - the short rib sauce was delicious; shouldn't be pared with ravioli
2 years ago the food was amazing. Now it was just Olive Garden with a nice ambiance.
We had the BEST Mother’s Day meal! Love Cibo and would recommend to everyone! Owners are amazing. Food outstanding. Wine list incredible.
Great Mothers Day brunch.
Our go to place for family dinner or a night out. Always consistently good. Well managed. Pizza is outstanding and enjoy the rotating menu.
Great hidden gem in sandy springs. The food is always delicious (portions are huge!) and the service is wonderful. I’ve never had a bad experience.
Outstanding service and amazing dinner for all 10 in our party!
Cibo E Bebe continues to improve across the board. The food is wonderful, the staff is attentive and pleasant, the atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful. I would recommend Cibo for both everyday dining and special occasions.
