Ciao Italian Restaurant is a family owned restaurant. We refuse to cut corners on our food. We search the market daily to find the freshest available local ingredients. All of our chicken stock, veal stock, and sauces are made fresh daily. Our food is all made from scratch and we cook to order, and its easy to accommodate any food allergies our special diets. Our Mama's meatballs, lasagna, marinara sauce, and our house made mozzarella are recipes that are passed down through the generations. We try to maintain a very friendly, cozy and happy feel to our restaurant. we ant you to feel like you are having a meal at one of your family's house. While we want to remain family friendly we also provide you with a restaurant that also has a romantic feel. Much of the same as the Tratorias of Italy. While we maintain a high level of service we like to keep it relaxed so that you can feel comfortable.

Enjoyed dinner on a busy Saturday night and as always, the food and service were equally good. Ciao is always our "go to" restaurant for Italian food in Myrtle Beach and it is excellent value for the quality you receive. The menu is full of great options supplemented by some really good "specials" and the desserts are awesome !

They have great wine with reasonable prices…my husband loved his angel hair spaghetti with meatballs … my lobster ravioli was good not great..usually I get chicken Parmesan with vodka sauce which is delicious. I’ll order that next time. Morgan our server was superb! Couldn’t have been better. Very sweet and acted as though he loves his job. He kept saying ‘happy to bring that for you’. So cool. The dessert we got was tartufo and we all loved it!

We are from out of town and were lucky enough to pick Ciao for dinner. We came in hungry and left completely full and satisfied. The bread is amazing and the walnut pesto is wonderful (they also provide butter for nut allergies). I had the halibut special and it tasted very fresh as advertise with an amazing sauce. Actually the pasta while good wasn't even necessary. Friends had the Vodka Pasta and Lobster Ravioli and both were satisfied with their meal. We were all so full we didn't have the room for dessert - may next time. Service was outstanding BTW!

Ciao Myrtle Beach never disappoints. We were warmly greeted and our Open Table reservation provided us with a window table. Now, this was just after US Thanksgiving, yet it was very busy - a testament to the house, given that most holiday travelers had gone home. Food! Our server started things with a basket of hot Italian bread accompanied by the house original walnut dipping oil - hard not to eat it all! Starting with with a light Pinot Grigio and a Peroni, we shared Ciao's remarkable Mozzarella Caprese. Yes, they make it there! Rich and delicious with slabs of tomatoes, scattered pitted olives and a drizzle of you-know-what.! Aware of the large portions served here, my date ordered the appetizer Eggplant Rollatini, which she reported was outstanding. I went with my favorite, the Veal Parmesan, slathered in the homemade mozzarella and served with a lovely marinara over perfect pasta (your choice). Both arrived piping hot and were delicious. There was, of course, no room for dessert. A terrific dining experience. Make sure you arrive hungry!

Disappointing visit. Have been there a dozen times over past 5 years. Chicken was overcooked with very little sauce. Grouper was very salty. ? New chef?? Happy hour was only at bar?? So dinner customers are penalized...prices are really up...first time I have ever been unhappy...

A nice amount of meals on the menu and several specials. I had a slightly blackened salmon dish that was one of the best meals that I have ever had. Dessert was excellent, also. Will certainly be back.

Do yourself a favor and dine at this Italian restaurant. You won’t be disappointed! The food is distinguished authentic Italian made from scratch. The atmosphere is cozy and classy, the service was excellent (I actually did notice that there was an abundance of staff in general), amazing food and the price was very fair. We will certainly be going back.

Not from the area, but if if I return I will definitely be back. Service was friendly and professional. Food outstanding. Best eggplant parm! Shrimp scampi was great. Bread was delicious and love when the Parmesan cheese is left on the table.

This is a regular stop for us when in MB. Recommend making a reservation . Food tasty and delivered to the table hot and nicely presented. Lots of variety and specials. Excellent wine list.

The Lobster Risotto was awesome as was the Grouper. We had Creme Brule cheesecake for desert and it did not disappoint. Jason was our server, He was good and responsive but not a lot of personality. This is one of the best Italian restaurants in MB. They do not rush you and we've never had a bad meal here. I recommend it to friends.

Had a good experience at ciao, but I would recommend not ordering the tomato basil soup, which was kind of greasy and runny and the lasagna was good as well but a little too much grease on top, but my boyfriend’s halibut was amazing and culinary was also quite good!

This has been one of my most favorite restaurants over many years, however, on my most recent visit the food was somewhat disappointing. My linguine with clams was not up to par. Still I would recommend this restaurant to my friends as it is a good one. They need to ensure that the pasta is al dente and there are plenty of fresh clams in the dish.

Food was excellent. Suggest ravioli x walnuts in the sauce no problem. Tomas’s was outstanding. If you order sangria don’t expect the traditional fruit.

Great restaurant. The food was great, the drinks were strong and the atmosphere was welcoming. My wife ordered the Fettuccine Shrimp Alfredo and I had the Chicken Parm. My wife said the Alfredo was the best she ever had, and she is a huge Alfredo fan!!! I also thought the Alfredo was delicious and I'm not an Alfredo fan at all. My Chicken Parm was a 9.5/10. The only knock I had was my noodles were a little cold. Overall I give it a 9/10, will definitely be going back.

Ciao Italian is our absolute favorite restaurant in Myrtle Beach. We live in Pawleys Island but we come up there and Dan all the time never had a bad meal and either Tim or Sean wait on us and they are wonderful highly recommend this restaurant.

Always a good dining experience here. The food is excellent and they always have great specials. We chose to celebrate our 43rd anniversary dinner here and they didn't disappoint. April, our waitress, was very attentive and sweet!

Amazing Italian Cuisine!! Definitely a reservation venue.service was perfect from Sean.. we both had veal prepared two different ways, Marsala and picatta….the picatta won but both were outstanding and so tender! It’s very difficult for us to find great Italian food while traveling but this will be on “Our Return Visit list.”
