Ciao Italian Restaurant is a family owned restaurant. We refuse to cut corners on our food. We search the market daily to find the freshest available local ingredients. All of our chicken stock, veal stock, and sauces are made fresh daily. Our food is all made from scratch and we cook to order, and its easy to accommodate any food allergies our special diets. Our Mama's meatballs, lasagna, marinara sauce, and our house made mozzarella are recipes that are passed down through the generations. We try to maintain a very friendly, cozy and happy feel to our restaurant. we ant you to feel like you are having a meal at one of your family's house. While we want to remain family friendly we also provide you with a restaurant that also has a romantic feel. Much of the same as the Tratorias of Italy. While we maintain a high level of service we like to keep it relaxed so that you can feel comfortable.

I had an amazing cocktail but the pino gris was not good. my linguine with shrimp Fra Diablo was very good. Salad dressing was bland. The veal picatta was good. The lemon cake was ok. A candle in it would of made it better. The hostess was very nice and wished my husband happy birthday right away but our server was just ok. We hardly saw him, I was not impressed with the service. A bit more attention to detail could make it a much nicer experience

We love Italian as we are from NY. So hard to find good Italian in the south. I saw this restaurant on open table and decided to try it. It did not disappoint. Our waiter was fabulous. From Boston’ Ma. Sorry, did not get his name. He only started working there 4 weeks ago. The entrees were so good. I had Veal parm with a side of spinach. Also, a salad with house italian. Hubby had veal Milanese with spinach. Just excellent. Bread and dipping oil were so good. Definitely put this on your list. Owner cane out and was a sweetheart. Her husband is the chef. I would rate this a 10. Will be back. Ambiance was very good. Excellent dinner!

Delicious food and great service, both at the bar and at our table. My wife had the specials (lobster & crab in a Pasta shell - appetizer; halibut main course) were both awesome. I had the Escargot appetizer and the Grouper Francaise main course. We will definitely come back the next time we’re in Myrtle Beach.

If you are tired of low country food give Ciao a try. When travel to MB we want fresh seafood so don't usually look at Italian restaurants. However, looking for break from fried food we picked Ciao because they had several seafood options and we were glad we did. Marissa was a wonderful server answering questions, checking back often without being over bearing. Starting with pesto walnut oil dipping sauce and fresh bread to the last bite of your meals, everything was delicious. I had the Grouper Francaise and my husband had Shrimp Scampi. Would recommend both. Don't hesitate to give Ciao a try.

Kat our server was so nice and helpful . Food was great. We went for lunch and loved the spaghetti and meat sauce and spaghetti and meatballs. Bread was great. I would definitely come back again. Parking was a bit limited and there was construction outside of building which made us hesitate but inside the restaurant was nice and just as pictured on the web.

Great italian restaurant when at the beach. From the bread to the meal everything was great! Our server was amazing too, April very friendly and went above and beyond during our dining experience. We got the spinach and walnut ravioli, the house salad with their homemade italian dressing and crème brûlée cheesecake was delicious! Will definitely be back again.

I made reservations for a party of 4 (2 couples) celebrating our anniversaries of 40 years and 31 years. They seated us in the bar by the window facing the parking lot. I should have spoken up but I didn’t.

Food and service were excellent. Price for specials are definitely showing the influence of inflation. Was surprised when the bill came that SC has some “interesting” taxation policies in that there was an 11.5% Food Tax, 16.5% Liquor Tax and 11.5% Beer/Wine Tax! This does reflect on the quality of food so I would still highly recommend Ciao’s to anyone.

We had a great dinner at Ciao! It was our first time here and it certainly did not disappoint. Homemade lentil soup for appetizer! For entrees, we had the veal Limone, the lobster ravioli; and then cannoli’s for dessert. Our servers (Sean and Yurigan) were personable and attentive, without being intrusive. We will definitely be back!

Our first experience on our anniversary was extremely nice. Took a little while to get seated but the rest of the evening was delightful. Our waiter was accommodating and attentive. The food which is why I went there was excellent. A truly enjoyable evening. I recommend it and will be back again in the future.

April our server was excellent. Food was very good. Sauce was a little sweeter than I personally prefer. The calamari appetizer was very good. I didn't love my drink of the day or the amount of taxes on the bill. Restaurant decor was nothing spectacular. Needs some updating. Outside was a mess as they're redoing the sign or facade. We had to park next door as the parking lot was a mess with scaffolding and debris. I'd go back, but wouldn't go out of my way to choose this restaurant. I'm local and feel I've had better Italian food elsewhere.

My husband and I went there last night. We have been there four times for each year. It was the BEST Italian food. We fell in love the delicious food. The waitress was fantastic. We always choose to make Ciao a regular stop when we are in town. Normally the food and service is outstanding! Our visit this trip was very disappointing. The bread was very hard, the salad dressing was mostly oil and both entrees were just so so. The chefs pasta that is a favorite was so full of the Gorgonzola sauce that all other ingredients were masked . My shrimp was overcooked and so was my spouses and his scallops. We are always quick to recommend but don’t think we will from now on.

We love Cioa and return just about every year when visiting the Myrtle Beach area. The food is really quite good. Salads were fresh and the Ceasars had a nice amount of anchovy. The sauces were flavorful. My only complaint this time was that my pasta was a bit overcooked. No one else in my group had that problem. My husband had a special entree and it was over $50, but he really enjoyed it. The service was excellent - our server was friendly, efficient, attentive, and knowledgeable.
