My husband and I celebrated 18 years of dating. Amber was an excellent server. We started off by ordering a bottle of Italian red wine (owners recommendation) at the bar. When moved to our table, we had the soup of the day, chefs pasta and meatballs. The restaurant treated us to the most delicious lemon cake for dessert. We visit Ciao often. Ask for Chris or Amber as they are the best servers. I can’t wait until our next visit.
This was the best Italian restaurant in the area and we have been to all of them. We will definitely be back!
Ciao never disappoints. Fried calamari appetizer was tender and flavorful, all 4 of us enjoyed our entrees and the fresh warm bread was delicious. Chris, our server, always provides friendly exceptional service. All the COVID related protocols were followed. Can’t wait for our next visit!
Highly recommend anyone traveling to myrtle beach to go here. Server was spectacular and food was just outstanding. I highly recommend the fettuccine Alfred and spaghetti with marinara or meat sauce
Outstanding food and a respectable wine list. Waitress was super sweet. BEST veal saltimbocca I'd had in ages!!
Not impressed. Was expecting much better food after reading reviews. Eggplant dish was overwhelmed with cheese. Cheese ravioli was swimming in sauce. Guys at table next to us spent the whole meal arguing LOUDLY about Trump and Biden. Overall, not a good experience. Have no intention of going back.
It was our 30th anniversary. Great food and wonderful service as always. That is why we chose Ciao for our special occasion.
This restaurant has the best Italian food! Recommend the chicken lemmone and raviolis!
Service and food both lackluster (and it had NOT been like this in the past). Worst thing- not adhering to mask requirements or social distanced seating. Spoke to owner and she was not at all concerned. I can forgive a server being poor, I can’t excuse not enforcing health department mandates.
My kid had a glass of ginger ale and we were charged more than $9. The waitress did not tell us that they charged additional $7 for sharing a plate. We were told that salad came with soup and asked us what salad I want? I did not know they charged $3 for Caesar salad. We waited for long time for our entrees. Our waitress disappeared and we had to ask another waitress to get information. Overall, a really bad experience.
The food was delicious and our waiter was nice and very helpful!!
This was by far the best restaurant we have been to on our trip and the food was excellent. I might go again before leaving!
Our server was very attentive, in a good way. One of us asked to substitute something in her dish, and she was accommodated. More bread was brought out by request (bread is delicious!). Would visit again.
Everything was great 👍
My first visit was the end of January. We asked our hotel Concierge for a nice restaurant nearby. Ciao it was! On
my recent visit to MYR, I suggested it to my family (husband, daughter and grandson). I was so happy that Ciao was open because of the virus havoc that restaurants are dealing with. We started with drinks and an oyster appetizer. Delicious! The bread at Ciao is so-o-o-o good, served with an oil dip and butter. Salads are included with your meal and they are fresh; try the house Italian dressing. Our entrees included lasagna, eggplant parmesan, limone veal and chicken alfredo. Not a single complaint and portions are more than adequate. We also had a side of fettuccine Alfredo and Italian sausage.
Both were exceptional and we raved about the sausage. Too full after dinner to eat dessert but promptly ordered to go. Our server took good care of us, a touch slow at times but we were in a great mood and enjoying every bite. This place is small and intimate; do make a reservation! As soon as we were back at our vacation club, the desserts (lemon cake, triple chocolate layer cake and cheesecake topped with creme brûlée) came out of their boxes and were quickly scoffed down! In a word, yum! Try Ciao, you won’t be disappointed!
The food is extraordinary and the service is great. We always eat at Ciao Italian Restaurant when we are in Myrtle Beach.
The bartender and staff were amazing. The food was mediocre at best. The chicken Parmesan was good. My husband had the chicken Marsala and it was not good at all. The drinks were great as well as the locals! My husband and I really enjoyed the overall experience.
👍very good overall. Will be returning. Excellent food and service. Great menu.
We always enjoy Ciao in Myrtle beach. Food is outstanding and service is the best! Katie and Amber are great waitresses !
Being from the northeast which has the best Italian food around, we were looking to find something comparable in Myrtle Beach. Ciao fit the bill nicely! It was a small, cozy restaurant. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the food was excellent. We plan to dine there one more time before we go home!
Top notch Italian cuisine! Our server Chris is amazing.
You can always count on Ciao to provide excellent food and service. It's one of my favorite restaurants in Myrtle Beach and I always recommend it to friends.
The best meal we've had in myrtle beach our entire vacation. Excellent service!
Ciao is our favorite Italian in Myrtle Beach. We took visitors here on this visit. They enjoyed our recommendations.
This was our first time back to Mrytle Beach in quite some time and we wanted some good Italian cuisine. We googled the higher rated reviews and Ciao came highly recommended but reviews can often be misleading as we’ve experienced in the past. This place DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! The restaurant was quaint and charming. The hostess and wait staff we’re extraordinary!! Our waiter Chris was great and the food?? Wow!! Spot on!! This is one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve experienced in my many years. Loved it. Absolutely recommend!! We will revisit our next trip to MB!!!
Our server, Chris, was very good. He was very friendly and pleasant. The food was nothing spectacular but average for an Italian restaurant. The chicken special was unexpectedly smothered with sauce and cheese so we did not enjoy it.
The food and service was amazing...a wonderful time.
Eggplant Rolatini was mediocre...proscuiti was missing and cheese in top was too thick.
Fantastic food! Updated decor, nice atmosphere. Smaller restaurant, so would recommend making reservations.
Food was fantastic. Service was great and fast. The best Italian food I’ve had in, or around Myrtle beach.
Good food and friendly service
Excellent value, service and the food is outstanding
Great food and our waiter was really spot on with everything. Very pleased.
Simply amazing food
Food is so good. Been here a few times and is just as good as any NY or NJ Italian restaurant
Haven’t been here for a couple of years but will be adding it to our restaurant list. Husband had grouper that was excellent I ordered a chicken dish that was too dry. The waitress immediately let me order another choice which was excellent. They take reservations which is a must in the summer here.
Food was amazing! Ambiance & value were perfect too.
Average Italian food. Nothing outstanding. The service was good, friendly people.
My beautiful girlfriend and I came down from NJ and have already eaten here twice and a third before we leave! We highly recommend the Shrimp and Polenta appetizer...to die for! We also love the dirty martini’s from the bartender. We have had Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Marsala, Chicken Lemone, and Chicken Milanese...all we fantastic! Thank you for a great experience.
The food was amazing as was the service.
