   We had a fabulous Valentine’s Day dinner at Ciao in Fenton. Jen was our service and was so pleasant. The host even gave all the ladies a red rose when they were seated, which was a very sweet touch. We started with the bruschetta which was awesome, then salads, and I had the scallops with bacon spinach risotto. It was wonderful and my husband said he would be getting that next time because of the delicious risotto. He ordered the lobster ravioli, which were fantastic and absolutely stuffed. We ended the night with their homemade tiramisu. So good! We will definitely be back.

    We requested a quiet area due to hearing impairments by a few of our guests. We were sat at a quiet spot then a a group was sat right by us who were very loud when there were a lot of other open tables they could’ve been sat at. It was hard for our guests to hear. Very disappointing. My husbands pasta dish had rancid mussels in it. The presentation of the food was very sloppy. It was not a good experience which is unfortunate.

    Excellent service and food. Greatest complaint would be tables very close together and very drafty (cold!) in back where rear entrance door and bathrooms located.

    It was our first time and it was excellent! The calamari was delish! We even got an extra order to take home. Lamb chops and lobster ravioli are definitely recommended!! We will be back!

    Excellent food and great service at a decent price. The restaurant has a wonderful ambiance, making it a good choice for a most enjoyable evening. Easy parking in the back.

    The server (Bryce) was attentive and so accommodating. The restaurant was tastefully decorated and the ambiance was festive. We both ordered from the special menu and both dishes were outstanding.

    Every Christmas Eve I take my amazing parents to a nice restaurant that we are trying for the first time and Ciao impressed all of us. The staff was very welcoming and attentive, making sure that all of our needs were met throughout our meal. The ambiance is slightly upscale but comfortable and you will no problem carrying on a conversation without having to raise your voice. The food was fantastic. We started with the bruschetta and it had the perfect balance of all the traditional ingredients in the dish, but I have to mention that whatever balsamic vinegar they are using is some of the tastiest I have ever consumed. For entrees we tried the halibut and pasta specials on the menu that day and chicken parmigiana. All three meals were exquisitely prepared and hot (not something you can say about the service at all restaurants). We finished with the orange sorbet (served inside a hollowed out orange) and a piece of peanut butter banana cake with chocolate crust and they were the perfect end to a great meal. Thanks to everyone at Ciao for making our dinner a great experience. We will definitely return. Finally, to the anonymous individual who picked up our tab (we were speechless), I want to say thank you. I’m not sure what inspired your kind actions, but I won’t forget it and will pay it forward. I hope you have a blessed Christmas.

    Food and ambiance fantastic. Service was not so great. Food was delivered and server said she had to go get the bread. Never saw her again ( or the bread) until I went looking for her and that was after we were finished eating for 15 minutes.

    Heavy on the cream/butter, light on the flavor. Bruschetta was soggy; Italian grandmothers would roll over in their graves. The star of the show were the warm rolls. Not the worst I’ve ever had but I wouldn’t return.

    First time at this establishment. Very nice atmosphere and the service was good. The only gripe I have is it was never asked if it was a special occasion and even though the waitress was attentive, it was very business like and no personal flair. The food was pretty good, I would prefer this establishment over The Laundry if I am going to spend this kind of money.

    We went for our anniversary and everything was so nice. We ordered the lamb shank and the scallops and everything was cooked to perfection. The calamari was tasty too. The salad had just the right amount of dressing...it was delicious! The bread served is a nice touch and kept us full. Christmas holiday drink with pomegranate (forgot the name) was sweet and flavorful! Be sure to ask for dessert, there is no dessert menu!

    The restaurant was beginning their day, and there was not much of a crowd. However, as the meal went on, the diners came in. The noise level, though, stayed very muted so that we could have a normal conversation over our meal. Melissa was our service person, and she was great. Very knowledgeable about food and wine. Pricing is not inexpensive, but it is not outrageous for the food and service you receive. Definitely a place to visit for an enjoyable dining experience.
