We truly believe great food starts with great ingredients. We procure only fresh, wholesome ingredients with no artificial flavorings or additives, local produce wherever possible, all natural poultry, free range lamb, wild not farmed seafood. We grind our own spices to ensure freshness.

Our menu reflects Chef Navjot’s true passion for food that began from a very young age. He further honed his skills and learnt from the very best master chefs at the Taj Group of Hotels
The menu offers a variety of combination platters, along with biryanis, curries, tandoori entrees.

Food is consistently fresh and delicious. Have tried many dishes over the years as has family and friends. One of our consistent “go-to” destinations for a good meal and value.
I went there for lunch on a Saturday with 2 others. Tables are nicely spaced out. Service was very friendly and answered any questions about the menu. The food came quickly and was very tasty. Would definitely go back again.
Went for restaurant week the portions were extremely small. Had the tandoori chicken menu said a half of chicken 2 small butchered pieces of chicken were served. The naan was awesome and the lamb dish was also good. I will give it another try from the standard menu. Not a great first impression.
My husband and I took advantage of Restaurant Week and went there for lunch. It was nice and quiet. The service was a bit slow but the food was great! We will definitely go back there and try other dishes!
Food is very good. Ambience is great. It was quiet. Service was too slow. The waiters were distracted and took longer than expected to order and to bring the food to the table.
The selection for the Restaurant Week menu was very poor. We could not locate the restaurant week menu on any of their sites, or on Open Table. Had we known the very limited menu in advance, we would not have chosen this restaurant. My chicken tandoori consisted of 1 very dry drumstick and an even drier 1/2 breast. It tasted like it was reheated from the night before. The other diner ordered a fish curry. It looked and tasted like overdone fried chicken nuggets with tomato sauce. No curry flavor at all. Very disappointing experience.
The restaurant week fall menu was delicious including dairy free, nut free appetizers and entrees.
Wonderful assistance with menu for options as we have not been here before. Great Indian food, will go back!
Setting is very pleasant, food is good, but service is a little spotty. It started out slow but improved during our meal.
Food was amazing! Well balanced and nuanced- very flavorful food without overwhelming use of spice.
Service was fine. Sat outside- was pleasant.
Food was great, but the outdoor tables are undesirable. Some are too far from the entrance, so the staff can't see people. We didn't get our drinks until we asked AFTER the starters came. The couple next to us didn't get their food so had to ask, and then it came immediately. The metal tables are too small, and they are so tilted with the street that things were sliding off the slick surface.
Yum!!! I got a Shrimp Tandori dish and it was so delicious!! Everyone enjoyed their meal and we sat outside on a perfect evening. Highly recommend!
The service was far below the price level of the restaurant; for example, we sat for 30 minutes with empty dishes in front waiting for a dessert menu, while the servers (3 different ones) passed the table without a glance in our direction. Food was good; naan was excellent.
I gave service a Very Good, however, it was lacking a bit - but I don't think that's their fault. They seemed to be short staffed which is quite common in these very strange times we're living in. They were all lovely, just overwhelmed a bit - mostly with seating. The hostess was doing way more than I've ever seen a hostess do (seating, cleaning tables, serving, handing out checks, taking orders)! The food is very good here. They don't use typical ingredients like ghee (which I don't mind so much in general), so the heavy creamy feeling is replaced with light and airy food that is rich in flavor and makes you feel good after. Parking can be rough in the area, but don't give up - it's worth it! Also, very reasonably priced - they even have things not on the menu (we asked for Poori and got a beautiful light bread ripe for sharing despite it not being on the menu). Highly recommend this place!
Service was really slow despite only 2-3 tables with guests.
Best Indian food we had in a long time. Service was impeccable and the ambiance is great. Lamb samosa was scrumptious.
There were rocks in my food. I nearly chipped my teeth.
It was not a busy evening so we were promptly seated. Greeted warmly, service was cordial. We ordered
Hara Bhara Kebab to start and
Tofu Matar and
Salli Boti Zardallo
Flavors were exception & food was plentiful
It was a well executed meal.
Pleasant experience. Chaat and chicken lollipops were good. Chutney masala salad a bit disappointing - greens not really special and dressing too sweet- and veggie curry ok.
July 2021, 4 STARS for Service, 3 STARS for food this time. We sat outside and I will say I will say the service was good, however, this time we were disappointed with our meal. We ordered the Shakahari Thales for 2, a special vegetarian appetizer sampler dish that my friend said everything on the sampler dish tasted the same, however, I thought it tasted just fine. But, if you are not a fan of fried food then stay away from this dish because most of the appetizers are fried. Then we shared the Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani, and in our opinion the chicken cubes were dry, not moist at all when you cut into the chicken. We ended up asking for an extra yogurt dip just to soak the chicken In because it was so dry. All and all, we may give this restaurant another try in the future, but it looks like we going back to Little Mumbai Market in Pleasantville, NY to eat Indian food.
Phenomenal food. My #1 choice for Indian in Westchester.
We ate outside. Service was attentive and considerate. Sauces seemed to have more character than at many other Indians. Very delicious. No separate lunch menu or pricing. D
We like this restaurant very much, quality of food and authenticity very good to excellent.
However, they need to either correct the serving or change the wording on menu because on two-three different occasions over the past few months when spouse ordered the supposedly "six lamb chops" only got five commented to waiter but either he didn't understand or preferred not to. Mentioning it here because owner should correct one way or the other.
Great Indian food,
Always good food! The biryani with lamb, coconut curry with vegs, mixed tandoori grill and chicken tikka Marsala were wonderful! This restaurant never disappoints!
Loved the food and wine list was good
No shortage of good Indian restaurants in the area but Chutney Masala always seems to be a cut above!
Excellent lunch - their lunch platters are a great mix of dishes. Highly recommend them
Their spices and sauces made in-house really make a difference. They are tasty and subtle.
I highly recommend the goat curry and cheese tandoori.
Nice outdoor service along with indoors. We arrived for Mother’s Day celebration and requested for outdoor. It’s closer to Hudson River and can be windy but not annoying. Parking was free due to Sunday and it was not difficult to find. We took Maharani Thali priced ~ 25$. Decent food in terms of taste and quantity. Could include a piece of dessert to make it nicer. Overall a good experience.
The food at Chutney Masala and our lunch didn't disappoint. We ordered 3 appetizers (sadly they weren't making dosas) and two mains plus dal. We thought we'd have enough to take home, but we all thought that the portions were on the small size. That is my only quibble.
One of our all time favs. Great food and surroundings.
We think this is the best Indian restaurant in Westchester. Start with a creative cocktail as we do. My partner enjoyed the lentil soup, and I really liked the fried (ungreasy) eggplant fritters. We've tried an assortment of main courses, and I always seem to return to the chicken in that yummy creamy sauce, Chicken Tikka Masala..not too spicy for me. Our other choice that evening was the Lamb Nilgiri Korma, sightly spicy and tasty. Both accompanied by basmati rice. Of course, you should order a naan..plain or garlic. So many dishes to try.
My only suggestion is that it would be nice to hear some Indian music!
Wonderful service food was exceptional.
They needed some ethnic music playing in the background but otherwise food is excellent - the lamb chops are amazing!! I order them every time!
Food is always outstanding!
We think Chutney Masala is the best Indian restaurant in Westchester. The food is wonderful and so is the service. Also, the ambiance is great. It would be nice if they had a happy hour since the bar is relatively large.
We had a really good dinner and the cocktails were very enjoyable too. The only confusion was we seemed to have two waiters so we weren’t sure if they were in sync. My tandoori chicken was tender with a wonderful sauce on the side.
My partner enjoyed the tills masala. We look forward to returning to try more dishes.
I’ve been here often. The food is always fantastic and service attentive.
We went to Chutney Masala late Sunday afternoon. It wasn't crowded, though it certainly had picked up by the time we left. The atmosphere/decor is lovely. The food is prepared very well and our waiter couldn't have been nicer. Highly recommend for delicious Indian food. I was the driver so I will definitely go back to try one of their intriguing cocktails. My friend enjoyed a glass from the nice wine list.
