Enjoyed the Sunday buffet with a large group of family members and enjoyed the fantastic food, service and ambience. The menu is perfect for everyone's palates, including the kiddies, so we were all satisfied and happy for days.
We haven’t been here in a while . My pork was over cooked swimming in a cheese sauce . My wife’s entree ( pollo encamisado ) was very dry . The only good thing about dinner was the dessert , tres leches cake . It is a shame because we use to come to this location often . Maybe they were having a bad night .
Great food and piano playing in background was enjoyable. SWA Bass was great!
The review is not representative of the food itself. The food was very good and flavorful for being a Sunday buffet. The problem was the atmosphere and the type of people that were present. We were sat by families with babies and you by children (of which 2 were crying the whole time and one was running around the restaurant). There was also a table where a grown man was watching a movie on his phone at full volume.
Least to say it was not a pleasant dining experience. The restaurants should have a few rules for these situations.
Terrible service. They made us wait for over an hour despite having a reservation then gave out table away. I sat outside in the sun and 20 feet from a port a potty. Will not come back here.
We were there for Easter and had a rreservation for 1pm. I expected to have a short wait as it was a holiday but when we arrived there was a huge crowd waiting. Again....having a reservation I expected no more than 10-15 mins as holidays and buffets cause people to sit and chat at their table messing up some of the flow for the restaurant. The hostess was taking names as people walked in and also made note of reservation times on her list. There were several people from what I could tell that came in early for their reservation and she still added them to the list. As the crowd grew more and more impatient it became obvious that the louder you grumbled the quicker you were sat. Again, my reservation was for 1 and I was passed over 2 different times for people who's reservations weren't until later. There was a lot of blame placed on a large table (30) that didn't leave in time but it was clearly a lack of organization on the front of the house. Skipping parties of the same size for someone who was to be sat later.
The situation was saved by a wonderful waiter who had a big smile on his face despite how hard he was working and all the amazing food!
Please work on your FOH procedures for holidays. Customers get grouchy and don't seem to have patience when this happens.
We really enjoyed our Easter brunch. The brunch was huge. They had a very large variety to choose from. The service was excellent.
Went for Easter Brunch and it was amazing. The food was fabulous and a lot of variety. Although a full house, it did not seem congested as the restaurant is spacious and airy. The wait staff was also very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be going back for dinner sometime soon!
Living a shirt distance from Churrascos we've always wanted to try it but never had a n opportunity...why did wait so long? We went for Easter brunch and we're pleasantly surprised. The food and it's variety was amazing. Although a tad on the pricy side for brunch, it was well worth it. I recommend at least trying brunch as I'm sure there will be something to everyone's liking since it's buffet.
Good job to everyone there.
Wife’s bday. 6:30 reservation on a Thursday. Quieter, less crowded for my mother in law. Reminds me of trips to Buenos Aries or Peru. Always get the Carrasco, Pisco sours.
Attentive service, good food, close to the house.
It was great! Love the ambiance and the quality of food and service! Thank you!
12 years ago, we often frequented this restaurant. Actually, my wife and I shared our first date at the original location on Bissonet. So, when returning to Houston after years away, we were excited to return and taste our favorites. Sadly, we were disappointed. The Chicken Bahia recipe had apparently changed. And, it was no longer gluten-free. The salad, once an amazing experience, had become a chopped ho-hum. The ambiance was dated (granted, they were undergoing a remodel, but still). Upon arrival, our group of three was seated at a table for six, even though there seemed to be plenty of more intimate tables. And our server, while competent, was not engaging or helpful (specifically related to my wife’s celiac disease). Needless to say, it was not the same experience. We hope to return again, and maybe things will be different.
Our experience did not start well as there was no one was at reception desk and it was difficult to get the attention of any of the staff. Eventually we found the manager and we were ttreated well and enjoyed our experience.
We went for the Sunday brunch for my birthday and as usual everything was awesome try the french toast you have to ask for it from the server. Also they played instrumental SELENA who is my favorite so over all everything was Excellent
As usual the Food was great. Our group had a great variety of fish and beef and all very good. The downside is service was slow.
I really enjoy this restaurant every time I go. The ambiance is great for all occasions: business lunches, celebrations, date night, etc. The food is always delicious and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.
I selected Churrasco's Westchase for a family get-together. I did stop by beforehand to select table and appetizers. It turned out to be the perfect meal for our family. They had the appetizers ready for us and the table set up just as requested. The service was excellent and the food was great. Couldn't ask for anything more.
Very expensive for a little food, terrible .................................................................................
We wanted to come to Churrasco's for a valentine's date and were thoroughly surprised at the quality of the food and the service of the staff. It seems they went above and beyond and it totally worked. Absolutely nothing bad to say. Looking forward to coming back!
Manuel took great care of us!
I was content with my overall experience at the Churrascos restaurant. The waiter was friendly and the food was delicious.
This has been one of my favorite restaurants for the last 10 years. I only come on special occasions as a real treat but I can honestly say that this last experience was awful. I'm not sure if it's because they opened a new Churrascos in Memorial and the best staff is over there or if it was just an off night. The service is slow and the food was awful. We will end up waiting for a steak over an hour. The restaurant was also slow, there were only about 10 tables so there was no excuse. The manager came by and took care of everything but it was still a bad experience.
Service is too slow ! Food was good but on weekdays they should have a faster service since people need to come back to work!
We come here fairly often for Sunday brunch and the food is consistently great. The five buffet stations are ample and inviting: make sure you are hungry. Much of the staff has been around for quite some time and is very well trained. The ambiance feels like you are in a colonial hacienda, which is one of the reasons we prefer this location to the others "down the street."
Everyone ordered a $15.99 anniversary steak special from the menu. Website listed 3-course anniversary special for $29.95. However, server and another person consulted said they had never heard of it. Otherwise, the food was great. Started with appetizing plantain chips/ sauces then enjoyed a well-seasoned steak and generous complimentary sides (rice, plantains, fried cheese, fried yucca). Staff were pleasant/courteous although we could have used water refills. The meal was delicious and a great value - just disappointing we couldn't order the website offering. Will return regardless.
Great food and service.
Our wait staff was not attentive and not prompt in closing out our tabs.
The food, as always was excellent. Daniel did an outstanding job as our waiter.
Went for the snapper but both mine and my hub’s fish was tough and flavorless. Not how we recalled our last visit a few months earlier. Disappointed 😩
Our server was excellent - friendly, attentive and humorous! We had dined there several days before and the server was not as good on that occasion.
The dinner was delicious but the bathroom was old and doors very grimy. Needs a wipe down with Clorox!
Very attentive waiter and delicious xcellent wine and appetizers were the best.
Great customer service. Empanadas are THE best. Always a great go to.
I asked to not be placed in main room. We were seated in main room. Service was lacking
We arrived a little early, but were seated promptly.
I’ve been coming here since the 90’s with family and friends. Love the Food, the fusion of Latin American and Asian cuisine.
Exceptional meal and the Tres Leches was over the top delicious. Service was imperial. Worth the trip!
Recently had a business lunch with five other colleagues. Service was very slow and we had to ask for drink refills more than once. The food was ok, but nothing to write home about.
For the price point of this restaurant, I would expect better food and service.
Normally I would submit a high review for this restaurant. I love their brunch and consistently high quality. However, I had a terrible lunch experience where we were seated in the bar given water and chips, and then forgotten about for 30 minutes until I approached the hostess.
This was a business dinner for a 14 people party. The seating was immediate at 3:15, the time of the reservation. The waiter was pleasant and friendly. The food was served promptly and appropriately; a little bland with minimal/low key presentation but nothing bad.
Overall a good choice for large groups and the noise level was low enough that hearing wasn’t an issue.
Very good food ,service Sundays brunch are my favorite .
