The brunch was well organized with a variety of foods available. The brunch is a good introduction to the cuisine.
We love Churrascos, particularly the Sunday brunch, which is phenomenol.
Went here for a work group dinner and was pleasantly surprised. I hadn't been to a Churrasco's for many years because I felt it had been going down hill, but glad I gave it another chance. Good for a work group, but was a bit loud....nice to be viewing the 'water' and good service.
For the price that we paid, the brunch was average. The description on the menu looked much better than the reality.
We had a great Easter Brunch. The food selection was very good. There was a ton of variety to fit everyone's tastes. The caiparanas were very tasty as well. Our server was attentive and checked on us frequently, although she was also assigned to very large groups. No complaints here!
My friends’ fish dishes were over cooked and the sauce used in the trout did not match the menu. Waiter wasn’t attentive to their wine glasses and they were expecting a higher level of service.
We have been to other Churrascos and visited the restaurant when it was America’s several times. This was the first time we have been to this restaurant since they changed the name and we were a little disappointed. The dish was drenched in sauce that it completely took away from the flavor of the fish. The mojito had pieces of mint that were going bad. I made a reservation stating we were celebrating our anniversary and nothing was said or done for it. We were disappointed and not sure if we will be back.
Great food great service!!
This time of the year in The Woodlands is amazing, hurry up or you will miss it! We had dinner on the patio for four people, it was lovely and magical. A wonderful time was had by all. The food was excellent! And the service is very good. Highly recommended venue!
Well done buffet with a wide variety of options. Initial entrance, where the bar used to be, is a little odd, but once down in the dining room it is an attractive venue.
The food and the service was fantastic. My husband doesn't like to eat out, but he really enjoyed himself. We went to the Sunday brunch. It was buffet style and everything on the buffet was absolutely delicious. I also ordered a white sangria from the bar, and it was very tasty and strong! I would definitely recommend anyone that wants to have a great meal and a great atmosphere to go.
Took friends from out of town during lunch hours. I think lunch menu featuring their Churrasco steak should be cheaper at lunch than dinner menu. David the manager was great! He even gave tres leches on the house to our guests.
Great birthday for my husband
The omelet station cook added cheese although I did not indicate I wanted any. When I told him this, the next omelet he made was a pile of fragments. Very unappealing. There are no gluten-free bread or pancake options. This is much more of a lunch buffet than a breakfast buffet. If you like meats, you may like it. David the manager was very nice though.
Churrascos remains my favorite restaurant in Houston. It never fails to impress me with every visit.
When we arrived, the valet was not present to park our car. From the outside, the restaurant appeared to be closed, so we had to try several doors before we found one that opened. The restaurant was hard to find since it was actually downstairs instead of on the street level. Better signs would have been helpful. The food was good, but the portion sizes were small (especially the coconut ice cream) and the prices were a bit high. Some of the items we wanted were not available, so that was a bit disappointing. On the plus side, there weren't many other diners (which I thought was odd since it was lunchtime on a weekday), so the room was very quiet. The dining room was also a great place to relax and watch people walk/run along the waterway.
After 20+ years of visiting the Cordua family of restaurants, I have had an experience that reminds me that in spite of years of building a reliable name, the secret to success is in the hiring process. We arrived at 6:30 for a 7 p.m. reservation and were immediately seated as our table was available (we were a party of 5). We ordered within 15 minutes and our appetizers arrived around 7 p.m. Everything was going great. Unfortunately the wheels came off after that. We waited an hour after appetizers for the entrees to arrive. The waiter explained that the kitchen staff was running slow because they did not expect a rush at 7 p.m. on the Saturday following Valentine's day. However, the tables around us that ordered after us had eaten their entrees, ordered and consumed dessert, and in at least one case ordered after dinner drinks. All had paid their bills.
My chicken was the texture of particle board and had to be cut like sawing wood. The waiter offered to replace it, but that took over a half hour and was not finished when we left 45 minutes later. When I handed the waiter my card to pay, he unilaterally decided to wait until the chicken was done before bringing the bill, which resulted in a further 30 minute delay. Finally at 8:45, with a sleeping child and everyone done with their entrees, I went to the front asked them to find my credit card, paid the full bill and left a tip, and left. No chicken ever arrived. In short, HORRIBLE SERVICE, POOR FOOD, LONG WAITS, and NO SINCERE EFFORT TO REMEDY THE SITUATION. Absolutely deplorable restaurant. If you love Cordua restaurants, go to the America's in River Oaks area or Churrasco's on Westheimer. AVOID THIS LOCATION UNTIL NEW EMPLOYEES AND A NEW MANAGER ARE HIRED.
Loved the atmosphere, decor and a great view of The Woodlands waterway. The service was very good, attentive without being an annoyance. Our steaks were good, not great, but all things considered we will return.
Great food and experience
Outstanding service, food and desert. They were very busy and still performed flawlessly. The manager waited on us and did a fantastic job.
Slow service. They seemed surprised that Saturday night was that busy and weren’t prepared... food was good
Peruvian and Argentinian home cooking at steakhouse prices. Our server lacked attention and the sangria was not good at all, its alcohol content was too high and had no fruit like the Rea sangría should have.
This is still our favorite restaurant in The Woodlands. Five of us arrived early for our 7:30 reservation on a very busy Friday night so the manager set us up in the large private room which proved to be unsuitable for us as there was a large party of very noisy ppl already there.
He was kind enough to move us after a few minutes to the smaller room next to the waterway. Arturo was our great and charming waiter, he was very attentive and competent . He entertained us with a delicious flaming dessert which was evidently comped by the manager. Food was as always spot on. We had lobster and shrimp bisque, crab taquitos, pork taquitos, lamb chops, and a very interesting and different Amazon burger.
Different experience for brunch. Loved the Latin influence. Desserts too sweet and the crepes were a little thick, but the plaintain chips, yucca, sliced steak with chimichurri sauce, fish selection and salads were excellent.
Went for a girlfriends birthday and loved it! Our server was amazing, the manager frequented our table, and the birthday girl got the best birthday dessert...an amazing tres leches (with a nice fire show). It was so neat! We loved it.
While we enjoyed our meal they were out of many dishes and signature drinks.
Our ceviche was supposed to come chips however it came with 3 pork rinds, which seemed odd for the size of the dish.
It seemed like they were out of every type of beer I wanted to order... I think they were out of 3 different types of beer.
Food and service were excellent. Manager came by to check that everything was ok. The birthday cake demo was awesome. Cake tasted great. Will definitely go back.
We decided to celebrate our son's birthday here. We had been to Churrascos before and loved the food. We were not disappointed. The food was good, as always, and the wonderful view of the Waterway was a nice touch. They made flaming tres leches for the birthday boy, which was a fun ending to a great evening. We will definately be back!
The food is well-prepared and the staff friendly; it can be a little pricey for what you get but the atmosphere is kind of romantic and the overall experience was nice
For the price we paid it was not as I expected. I have always went to the one on Westheimer and never had a problem. This one site my husband and friend got sick off the soup even had to go to the restroom near the restaurant. I didn’t get my black beans with my meal and we paid $180.00 total for all that I don’t feel was worth it after people getting sick and missing items. Overall it was okay but not sure if I will go back to give them a second chance.
We had 6-oz churrasco steak, 8-oz filet w/jalapeño sauce, Cordúa white and red, split a house salad and Pio X tequila bread pudding. All superb, as was the super-attentive service.
Thank you!! Everything excellent!!
Parents 75th and 89th bdays.
Always an enjoyable experience here with fresh changing menus, nice setting with canal outside the window, pleasant wait staff and engage manager. Look forward to my next visit soon.
EXCELENTE SERVICIO, DELICIOSA COMIDA. EL AMBIENTE ESPECTACULAR, Y LA VISTA ENVIDIABLE
Dinner was great. Waiter recommended some new features, they were really yummy!! Thanks
