Excellent food and service!
Excellent service and phenomenal food! Totally enjoyable experience.
The empanadas we had as a starter were great. The main courses were way too salty and disappointing.
A very nice dinner. Steaks were delicious and perfectly cooked. Sides were very tasty. Waitress recommended a nice Chilean cabernet sauvignon offered at a special "rodeo" price and it was very good.
Not a good one
The Churrasco w/ adding the Setas sauce is the best steak I've ever had! Great food from appetizers, to entree to best Tres Leches anywhere.
Brunch was great. Good variety, excellent food.
Longtime Houston staple. First time visiting in 2 years. Loved the chicken empanadas and the pollo encamisada has been a good dish there for years. Service was 3.5 stars. started good, but then dropped off. I would love to see them mix it up and do dinner specials.
This used to be my favorite restaurant. No longer. Something has changed. The food is not nearly as delicious as before and the feeling is much more casual.
Service was very poor. It was very cold inside, we did not order desert because we couldn’t stand the cold temperature. Food was good.
Their steak was not the same this time. we normally go to the sugarland location and their steak has never disappointed us.
But i understand that valentine's day is a busy kitchen for them and mistakes happen.
Enjoyed everything about our evening. Highly recommend.
Great atmosphere, amazing food, and exceptional service! I recommend this place to everyone in Houston!
This was probably the worse I’ve ever eaten at this Churrascos. We usually enjoy the buffet but I don’t know if it was because it was almost 2pm or what, but the food quality was very poor. Gallo pinto was dried out from sitting in the chafing dish. The beef tenderloin was too chewy. Many of the meats were barely warm. I wish we would have been offered a menu instead of the waitstaff assuming we were all there for the buffet. I would have preferred ordering a fresh plate of food rather than paying for a below-par buffet. Probably won’t be visiting again any time soon.
Fabulous service from the moment we arrived until we departed. Expansive menu with a wide range of choices. Unique (for us) in place of tortilla chips and salsa they offer plantain chips. They were wonderful. All of the sauces were as well. We sampled from both the seafood side and from the grilled steaks. You'll want to order the chiles & onion toreados prepared table side. One order is enough for 3-4 to share.
Margaritas were pretty good as well
Start with dessert and work back! Churrascos has the most amazing desserts ( Tres Leches and Pio X). In addition to the desserts, we sampled two types of ceviche ( both excellent), a Churrasco steak ( never bad) and two chicken dishes ( both good, but not outstanding).
All in all, a great dining experience.
We enjoyed dining here during Houston Restaurant Week and finally made it back. The regular menu did not disappoint. Beef and shrimp skewer was outstanding. Coconut ice cream-divine! Nice, reasonably priced wine list. We need to make Churrascos part of our regular rotation.
Great service, as always!
Juan Pablo and all staff were excellent!
First time dining here, and I enjoyed my meal. I ordered the Pargo De LuJo. The Brussel sprouts are amazing! I hear the brunch is the place to be. I will be returning to try it very soon!
Even though I spent a good evening, I was not comfortable with the booth, there is no room to come in and out of it easily and no room for the legs either. Also, the vegetarian options are so limited (only one dish) and when I asked if it was possible to pay extra to make another vegetarian dish I was kindly declined.
Great night for food, friends and holiday celebrations!
It is going downhill. Used to be a nice place with good food. No anymore. Service is still good, but the food is below average.
The waitresses were friendly , helpful, and courteous.
It took over an hour to just get an appetizer and soup. After that the soup order was incorrect. Multiple servers couldn't get our order correct. After a second drink was ordered, a wrong one was brought. The manager was extremely pushy in trying to get us to take the drink. We didn't want the drink and she wasn't going to back down. Nothing like having a manager push alcohol on you.
Food was great and prices were fair. Service was very good.
Good but very expensive for the food they give..Service was good ambiance is good.
Quality of the food remains high. Beautiful preparation and presentation. Empanadas/Churrasco Steak/PioX meal was delicious. Even my pre-meal cocktail was perfect. The service - not so good. My waiter suffered from a lack of training. He brought the appetizer with the main course! I had to ask for dessert. No refill offer on coffee.
The food is still excellent. My feeling is that the owners/manager have decided to target a lower level of service and have accepted wait staff that fills that bill. It felt like I was eating at Los Cucos. They need to hire professional waiters.
The food as always was wonderful. The only thing that threw me off is the fact that I asked for a Cosmo and they gave me some other concoction and although it was tasty it would have been better if they said they didn't know what that was and suggested something different instead of giving me whatever they wanted, assuming I wouldn't know the difference. And then to top it off they charged me for 4 when I only drank 3, but I guess that was my fault for not checking my receipt before paying. Anyway, I will go back eventually (for the tres leches of course).
Excellent steaks. Excellent ceviche. Excellent margaritas. Excellent platano chips. My favorite restaurant in Houston. My only complaint is that they have recently changed the sweet dipping sauce for the chips to something peculiar.
It is a okay place, but the food wasn't the great.
The food is great as it has been consistently for many years. The Churrasco steak is always good, but I decided to try something different -- gambas al ajio. This dish was also very tasty. Wife had a chicken dish which she loved (and I loved the next day -- portion was quite large so we took some home.) Of course, Tres Leches for dessert is a must.
Biggest negative was the noise level. The clientele was definitely NOT boisterous, yet the sound level was high. I recall the noise level used to be much quieter. We will certainly return, but not for a quiet dinner.
Always consistently good. Love the plantains And my friend from out of town enjoyed her meal as well. Will go again,
Dinner was delicious as always. The spinach and mushroom empanadas were amazing and also loved the lobster bisque and taquitos. All of us had filets that were flavorful and so tender. Split the brownie ice cream dessert. Love Churrascos. It never disappoints.
Steak night on Wednesday is a must, steak was perfect and price is very good! The plantain chips is one of the best in town, along with the chimichurry sauce.
Excellent food, excellent service! We eat at Churrasco's regularly and are never disappointed.
This was our second visit during Houston Restaurant Weeks -- thank you to Churrascos for extending HRW after Hurricane Harvey! Our meal was outstanding and the HRW menu was a great deal. I highly recommend the empanadas and my beef and shrimp brochette was delicious . The tres leches is fantastic--among the best I've had.
We can't wait to go back for the regular menu and perhaps for some of the special events.
We've been here many times and especially like the wine dinners. This time featured Loica wines from Chile. We enjoy the flexibility of reserving the time that is convenient for us rather than a fixed seating. Pairings of food with wine were great and encouraged us to try something new. Efrain was a gracious server and gave helpful introductions to each of the four wines poured.
Seemed to be short on staff.
