    My food was excellent. Our server Ana, seemed pre-occupied. She was just mediocre. But we all have off days, so it was ok. The tequila bread pudding was superb as was my petite Churrasco! Cooked to perfection !

    Re-started a four year Thanksgiving tradition. No disappoints here. Great selection of foods. Always delicious too. The service was top notch. Great people watching

    Churrascos has been one of my very favorite Houston restaurants for many years. We no longer live in Houston but chose to visit this old favorite Saturday night. Unfortunately the food was not nearly as good as I remembered, the lack of attention to detail was obvious, and my very favorite “pollo encamisado” was not worth the $31 price point. Some of the special touches that we remembered were missing. I want the old Churrascos!

    The place was dead! Do people in River Oaks stay in on Tuesday nights? But the atmosphere and look of the restaurant was not nice at all. I’m used to the one in Sugarland which looks up to date and amazing. I will say the food was still delicious! But I felt like I was dining in a restaurant that is going to close any day now. :(

    Enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration and dinner Sunday night. Place was not crowded so it was nice and quiet. Ideal for carrying on a conversation. I had there marinated spareribs that fell off the bone and we’re covered with a delicious gravy. My friend had one of their specialty chicken dishes, and really enjoyed it. And of course the meal started with plantains and delicious dipping sauces.  tops off the meal with their famous Tres leches. Our waiter couldn’t have been more attentive. We will definitely go back..

    We had a great time, our food was very tasty. We were celebrating our friend's birthday and they didn't charge me for her dessert. Every thing was very good. We will be back soon.

    The short ribs were a joke! Literally $40 for 3 small pieces the size of boneless wings. Quality of the ribs were terrible. Steak was ok.. steakhouse and they didn’t even have any steak sauce. There was plantain in everything. Best thing I had there was the guac and chips sadly.

    Churrasco’s has been a staple in our lives since early 1990’s. It’s one of our kids (now adults) favorite places to continue to dine. It hasn’t changed and continues to be outstanding in all categories. Gotta have the Churrasco Steak and all that comes with it-especially the caramelized plantains and end with the Tres Leches. When everything is done right, no need for changes. Keep doing what ya do!

    Everything we ordered was great (churrascos steak) except for the add on of lobster (just not as fresh as we would like). The tres leches was fantastic. Service was excellent.

    To start with, the AC was not working well and it was very warm and uncomfortable. The restaurant no longer has the feel of an exclusive, higher-end restaurant. Feels like a chain restaurant inside with signage and laminated menus. Our Waiter was very good and did not hurry us to order or finish our meal. The food was good but the Churrasco steak didn't taste like the quality of steak I've had there in prior years. The steak was tender but not real flavorful even with the Chimichurri sauce. The empendada was excellent and the side veggies were also very good.

    Great food at a great restaurant. Very upscale without being pretentious and the food is really top notch. Wife and I split the chicken encamesada and it was plenty!

    First of all, our waiter was nonchalant, he started with introduction and started pouring water on the table instead of inside the glass cup. Then the chips were brought in 30 minutes late. The food was lukewarm, and the beef was overcooked. Will not be visiting again. Churrascos River Oaks is NOT WORTH IT. Take your money somewhere else. The ambience was very poor looking. Not a happy customer.

    Came for Father’s Day lunch. Only the buffet was available not sure if that was due to Sunday or Fathers Day. The food was tasty and there was a good variety of available lunch and breakfast items. Unfortunately the restaurant was hot, cramped, and a little noisy. I chose the River Oaks location due to proximity but prefer the Gessner location for the ambiance, space, and food quality.

    This was year 3 of doing Father's Day Brunch here. And this year the experience was subpar. The food serving trays stayed empty most of the time from 120 till after 2. Getting anyone who spoke English was difficult to ask when we would see a waiter which took over 10 minutes after arrival and at a time there were several empty tables and never filled up before we left at 245 after arriving at 110. The meat carving table ran out of meat around 2 and was not repinished. Only beef empanadas were available during our first 45 minutes then some chicken ones were brought out. The Frito Shrimp was very tasty but only got 2 shrimp from it around 130 and never replenished the rest of our stay. I did enjoy my Tres Leches but the bottom third was pretty much liquefied, not what we are use to. My wife was very disappointed. She started with salad and about 5 peel and eat shrimp which were delicious but no more were put out the rest of the stay. She went to serve here main plate and started at the end with green beans and mash potatoes. By the time she reached the other end all she had was the potatoes because all the trays were empty around 145. At carving table only blood meat was available but attendant has the omelet skillet person cook the meat for her to eat. No Churasco meat or shrimp empanadas were offered this time. We have recommended many in the past to come here Bueno more. We may try 1 more time but food prep and wait staff need to be better at addressing a special brunch.
