Churrascos - Memorial City
The tantalizing menu mixes up native Latin ingredients with the unexpected for a culinary line-up that is as artful as it is delightful, including bacon-wrapped shrimp taquitos, ethereally light angel wings, bahia grilled chicken, yuca fries, and, of course, the award-winning Churrasco – voted one of the best 20 steaks in America by Esquire magazine.
Churrascos is the official caterer of the Houston Texans.
This Churrascos is my favorite. Excellent waitstaff and they went the extra mile to make the fried French toast which is no longer included in the buffet.
Very nice restaurant. Would have liked more breakfast options in the buffet. A nice place to try something new!
I been to this location many times and I always like the location, ambience and the food that they serve...
The service was very spectacular and efficient. The restaurant had a prom menu that was very beneficial to be able to try different foods and everything tasted amazingly.
Great food and service! I highly recommend this restaurant!
It was great lunch.. the food was great and our waiter was awesome.
I will go back soon.
Easter brunch was a little
The brunch is awesome!!! There is a huge variety of food which makes it perfect for diverse palates.
Excellent decorations and ambiance - good location
Waited about 10 minutes to be greeted and also seated. Many others were waiting with us.
Waiter was excellent - very attentive and willing to provide the service.
Only issue was - once my steak came out - it was barely warm and I had to send it back to be grilled a bit more to get some heat on it, but by then it was not a Med rare steak. My wife's food came out excellent
This was our first time to Churrascos, at the Memorial City location. My husband, and I enjoyed our visit. The food was delicious, quick, and the wait staff helpful and friendly. We will be back.
My favorite restaurant that does not disappoint. Food was exceptional but service was slow even thought the restaurant was not very full.
We love going to Churrascos , love the food , ambiance , service . We are also regulars on their Sunday brunch.
Fabulous for my first visit. My friends had been before and it was everything I expected. "The churrasco" steak is the best!!
Incredibly friendly people with a relaxed and romantic ambiance. Worth try once, you'll want to come back. For the food and ambiance.
The service was a bit slow. Also, Churrascos used to offer some veggies with the entrees. It would be nice if that was still an option.
Thank you for letting us have a good time! We enjoyed the food, dessert and services were exceptional! You all were amazing
Food was great but service was beyond excellent!
Food was good/fresh, but after spending $20 for lunch, i was still hungry. Service was great. not too busy. (I don't eat chips/plantains, rice, or other carbs.)
We could tell the wait staff was fairly new, I asked for my steak to be cooked medium rare, an it was medium well, thus ended up sending it back and waiting-while my wife ate.
Great food, great service and the staff went beyond to ensure our group of six had a wonderful evening.
Delicious food and great service. We wanted something other than steak and potatoes. Enjoyed a nice dinner and wine along with dessert. We both had fish and I had leftovers after eating So many yummy plantain chips.
Wonderful experience with friends, food was outstanding. Thank you, as always.
We chose this restaurant for my friends birthday lunch, I was not familiar with this location, always eat at the original location. The waiter was informed we were not in a rush and they had numerous open tables during lunch. The waiter was discurtious and impatient and did not offer refills we had to request and then request the same refill numerous times. He stated he was leaving and turned us over to another wait staff who was more pleasant behaving but also very odd behaving and said at 3 pm I need to close this check out now it was the oddest and most unpleasant experience I have ever had ever in a restaurant.
We tipped $25.00 for the hideous service because we occupied the table for about 4-5 hours (the restaurant never filled and was completely dead at 2pm) after we cashed out around 3 pm we never saw any wait staff again.
I will NEVER return to this location again, the ambiance is quite nice but the service was hideous!!!
The experience was nice, service excellent. We found the food to be way overpriced, and was okay nothing wowed us.
Consistently great service, servers have gotten to know us after a few trips. Food speaks for itself if you have been there, but parrillada is our favorite.
The Churrasco is unbeatable. Best tres leches in town. This location has great ambient.
We are a challenging group. There were nine of us, and we requested separate checks. Our server didn’t bat an eye. Some arrived late, some had to leave early. Others lingered over dessert and coffee. Service was still flawless. Food was great except for one steak that was overcooked- no problem, because it was whisked away and quickly replaced. My meal choice was no longer on the menu. No problem. And then the best bite: the little shortbread cookie sandwiches. Little clouds of perfect flavor and delicate texture. Amazing!
Nothing really special at all. I thought the prices were very high for what you got. Not impressed
The food is delicious but here is some constructive feedback: It was extremely cold! I had to order coffee and the bisque to stay warm. The bisque was a bit to fishy for my taste but the churrasco and plantain chips were delicious.
They did eventually turn off the air after several people complained. I ordered a cheese cake when my order was taken, they when it was time to serve, I was told they ran out. If I ordered it upfront, why not put it aside? Made the night end on a negative.
Went for dinner with my wife for Valentine’s Day. We went the year before and the restaurant offered a reasonable dinner package. We both had entrees (steak and shrimp), appetizers and ordered a bottle of wine and spent around $125 (includes tip). The portions were great as well as the food quality. This year, the dinner package was $59 per person - we still received appetizers but the entree portions and options were minimal in comparison to the year before. No shrimp with the steak, veggie serving was extremely dwindled, and we had to order rice. The restaurant was FREEZING..it was colder inside than it was outside. I couldn’t help but wonder if this was a tactic to get you in and out more quickly. The server was not on top of his game as well - how do you place a bottle of wine on the table for sale but cannot tell the patrons the price off the top of your head?
The food took a while to get to our table. It was the wrong food.
Went for Valentines Day. Great food but service was below standard. We have been many times and will return but never on a special occasion. They were totally overwhelmed!
We were seated at a small table in the bar next to the kitchen. It felt like a fast food restaurant. The kitchen was next to us so we had to listen to yelling throughout dinner. Had we not made a prior reservation I could be more understanding. The waiter and waitress were outstanding so compliments to those two.
Food and service was excellent.
Set us by the kitchen and was told no other tables available however there were multiple booths. Requested to talk to the manager and he would never come over. Waiter took crown/water drink from table hat has half finished then asked if I wanted another. Mentioned to the waiter that the lobster bisque had a extremely strong seafood taste when asked how it was and he told us to just poor some wine in it and it will fix anything.
We just expected better service after spending $350. We will not be back to this location.
Wonderful as usual! Quiet, romantic and wonderful food. Our waiter, Clint was fantastic! Highly recommended!!
