About Churrascos - Memorial City
Its namesake – the famed Cordúa Churrasco steak - sparked Houston’s Latin American revelation 25 years ago, and the flame is still burning strong at Churrascos.
The tantalizing menu mixes up native Latin ingredients with the unexpected for a culinary line-up that is as artful as it is delightful, including bacon-wrapped shrimp taquitos, ethereally light angel wings, bahia grilled chicken, yuca fries, and, of course, the award-winning Churrasco – voted one of the best 20 steaks in America by Esquire magazine.
Churrascos is the official caterer of the Houston Texans.

Churrascos - Memorial City Ratings and Reviews
We have eaten at Churascos Restaurant on Westherimer many times before and were always impressed. For the Memorial location , we had the business lunch there and ordered many dishes. The cervicche was very bland and the ingredients didn't go together. The red fish was dry and salty. The quails were also salty. The steak was also dry and salty. Very disappointed at the foods but the service was very good! The waitress Adriana was very helpful.
I normally love everything about Churrasco's. Their food is great & consistently well-prepared. When I arrived on Sunday, I found out there was a Sunday brunch buffet. I do not like buffets. The food is never as good. That was the case here. It was still good, just not as stellar as it usually is. I also do not believe it was a great value for me & my group. None of us could eat enough to make it worth the cost. 2 other problems: the waiter failed to tell us we could order a couple of items made to order...until we were almost done; the carving station was unattended when I went up there. While standing there waiting, I noticed the meat was a bit bloody & not at all attractive. I opted for more pollo encamisado & skipped the meat...1 of the main reasons to go to Churrasco's!!!
We had a reservation for 5 on a Wednesday at 11:30, we were seated promptly, not too many people yet. Loved the plantains as chips to dip in the delicious salsas. The salad with the abundance of palm hearts was divine. My entrée which was tenderloin done medium was very tasty. Place is a tad pricey but I would say worth it.
As a first time visitor, the food was excellent as expected. The location was great as well and the menu exhibited many entrees to choose from which is great. The service though wasn't up to par as
Expected. We nearly waited over ten minutes for someone to take our drinks. Will return in hopes
Of a better service.
Outstanding Sunday brunch! I love that they also include bagels, lox and cream cheese. Omelette and crepe bar are always my favorite along with wonderful Latin fare prepared brilliantly as always by Churrascos. Don't leave without sampling the alfajores; they are perfect!
Fabulous as always! Churrasco's always strives to be one of the best. Food is consistently good. Service was excellent, such that I never had to ask for anything. Due to ongoing effects from Hurricane Harvey our other guests were unable to make this reservation. But the restaurant allowed us to wait a more than reasonable time without hassle.
Thursday happy hour all day excellent wines by the glass, beer and cocktails for $5 and up. Small plates menu has wonderful options for a good value. We had guacamole, ahi tuna ceviche, fish tacos, beef and chicken empanadas and all were delicious. Very energetic happy hour crowd with lots of people having fun. Very good vibe. The service was excellent. There are plenty of staff in the restaurant to take care of you even though they were very busy. And plenty of free parking in garage next to restaurant. We had a great time for girl's' night.
Came here for HRW but it wasn't available that day. We had the Sunday brunch instead. Hostess did not read comments at all when I booked through OpenTable which was kind of annoying. We specifically mentioned we were there for HRW but were not told it was unavailable until AFTER we were seated. The food was okay - it had mixed reviews at our table. Good variety and lots of protein. The restaurant was very busy and service for drinks/water was minimal.
