Churrascos - Champions
This overall experience was saved by the kitchen, great food as is usual. The service was greatly lacking and was particularly noticeable since there were very few customers at the time that I was dining. I hope that this is attended to by management.
Great and cozy place for family dinning or having a good time with your loves one. Service is good( our Servers were Jeff and his trainee gal). Many choices of food, i love my cocktail ( the last one in their menu). The steak could have been in a bigger portion though ...lol.
Oh, not forget to mention they provide a complimentary special Birthday touch which was a Wow ( my little 5 yrs old one was actually said “ wow” )
Nice quite. Delicious food
A wonderful Sunday brunch buffet. It was not a lot of people but we did go at 1 pm. Great selection of Latin American hot food line and caving station. The cold food line is more sparse. The omelet and crepes were okay. The Tre Leches pancakes and French Toast (made to order included in the buffet) are to die for.
We took our family for Sunday brunch. everybody enjoyed the food and service.
Churrascos has been a favorite restaurant for a long time. However, had not eaten here for a while and surprisingly the recipes of couple of our favorites seem to have changed and they tasted different. It was good but not what we were used to eating - especially the corn smoked crab fingers & the chimichuri sauce that comes with the complimentary plantain chips!
We hadn’t been there in months. But the service was not up to par. The wrong drinks were served and even after fixing, they weren’t very good. Very disappointed by the service. We made reservations and marked it as a birthday and nothing was said or asked about that.
Great service and great food! We really enjoyed our visit.
Celebrating 3 birthdays
The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Our waiter was very attentive, professional and provided good suggestions for wine and meal. The atmosphere was very nice and we will definitely go back.
Great food and service, as always. Wondwerfulbirthday surprise desert.
Have always loved this chain and gone to several locations. This one was disappointing. Cobwebs hanging from the floral decorations in the center of the restaurant. Caesar salad was so bland and contained old, brown lettuce. What made it worse is that a family let their toddlers walk away from the table several times and literally let them climb into the windows and pull and yank on the blinds with such force we were surprised they didn’t come down. This went in for about 15 minutes before they finally left. While that has everything to do with the parents, I was surprised the restaurant didn’t say anything when other customers were looking around at the disruption. I won’t go back to this location.
The service was wonderful, the food was amazing.. it was a bit louder than we would have liked.. the ambience was favorable.. Food value was a bit more in comparison to the same scale and type of food restaurant.. overall the experienced was good..
Good service and quality food. Overall, it was a pretty good experience.
As always, it was an absolute wonderful experience. The food and the service was nothing short of stellar. The Norwegian Salmon was outstanding along with the Cubana black bean soup.
This was only our second time there and we went to try the Houston Resturant Weeks menu. Everything was fantastic - food, service, wine, atmosphere - and we will be back!
Dined here for brunch. Brunch selection were varied and prepared well, especially the carving stations. Service, provided by our server Kerry H. was outstanding! The empanadas and rice/beans dishes were dried out having stayed on the line too long. All other selections were very good. The grounds and parking area outside the restaurant are very tired looking, need to be spruced up as it does not make a good first impression. That being said we went for the food and it did not disappoint.
Outstanding service and wonderful food. We reserved the wine tasting dinner but they had cancelled the event. They went out of their way to do the dinned for us and it was wonderful.
Food and service are always good. We went for Restaurants Week and enjoyed the special menu.
Our waiter was very nice and attentive to our needs. He was very courteous and polite. The food was wonderful. This the first time for our family to visit this restaurant. We had a pleasant evening.
Another good experience here. Unfortunately, the A/C was broken this particular day but they had someone onsite working on that while we were there. Pollo Encamisado rocks and so does that cilantro dressing. My favorite lunch place in the Willowbrook area.
Air conditioning was not working too hot in restaurant. When we asked hostess why it was so hot she did not know as she was wiping her forehead also. Bad experience for my 33 wedding anniversary. Your Champions location is not as nice as Westchase, or Memorial. Very disappointed.
Excellent Food & Service ! Kerry was a great server. Hopefully on our next visit we won't listen to a screaming baby the ENTIRE hour and a half we were dining. Really management should do something when parents aren't decent enough to take the screaming baby outside.
Great location, our wait person did not have the best listening skills. Overall the food was excellent.
Great food and great service. Made a birthday great.
Churrascos exceeded every expectation on every category on which one would judge a restaurant. The food was well prepared and simply delicious. Jeffrey, our server was attentive yet not intrusive and I'm impressed with his "flaming tres leches" skills, and also his friendly, engaging personality. So food was great, service was great, but the champagne along with dessert to help my spouse and I celebrate our anniversary put us over the top. That was a very nice gesture that we sincerely appreciated.
Natalie is a great asset to the restaurant; service and attitude were perfect
It was great time to have a dinner with my father on father day
We went here for Father's day to have the brunch. We have been to this location before but this time it was terrible. The restaurant was not that busy as it was later in the day, but it took forever to get people seated. Dirty tables were taking forever to be cleaned. The bathrooms were dirty and dark. Many light bulbs out. The whole ambiance was dark and dirty. We frequent this chain but will not be back to this location. Many of my favorites from this brand were not available on the buffet. We also had to order an individual dessert and pay for it ON TOP of the buffet becuase the buffet desserts were awful! The brownies they put out were FROZEN!!!! It was definitely not worth the money but I tried to make the best of it since it was a special day. Thanks for making me pretend.
We love the Sunday brunch at Churrascos! How can you beat plantains, samosas and tres leches pancakes for breakfast? They also have an omelet station and roasted pork carving station along with a lot of other items that are very tasty. For dessert you can grab mini servings of several desserts. Assuming you have the room- you should try them all. :)
Juan was very helpful in responding to our requests.
The food is amazing and the chef was accommodating, but the server was lacking. He would stay and chat with us some and then not come back for really long periods. He was not attentive to our needs.
We have been dining at Churrascos for years always an outstanding experience. Tonight was no different. Everything was perfect. Our server was Jeff. Very professional and attentive. Kerry was working the bar area and mixed our drinks perfectly.
Our steaks and sides were cooked and seasoned perfectly. My wife is a celiac, and they made sure everything was prepared gluten free, even prepared a gluten free dessert for us. Another perfect evening we will be back for sure.
Really great, will definitely go back again.
Fresh, delicious food and the server was outstanding! Wish I remembered her name.
We love Chruuascos food and dining experience. This visit there were some very loud customers that interfered with our rather elegant dining
Screaming/ shrieking kids (and their oblivious parents) completely ruined what would have been a wonderful meal.
Everything was great, te only thing I didn't like was the seating arrangement. It was little bit tight.
This was my first time visiting the Champions location and it was a big disappointment. We were there celebrating Mother’s Day dinner. Our waiter took about 15 minutes before approaching our table to greet and take drinks. We had a food brought out and everything tasted great! However, we received our sides by the time we are just about done eating which made no sense. Apparently our waiter never came back to check if food tasted good or if our order was right until we were halfway done. When I complained to speak to the manager they apparently stated that the manager was the one waiting on my table. What a huge disappointment! We were than assigned another waiter who apologized for the terrible service. He actually made up for the rest of the night and we left him a big tip. I’m sorry to say I probably will never be returning to this location.
