   Disappointed with this venue . Obviously more of a drinking pub that served bar meals whereas I was looking and expecting a Sunday lunch ( take my 94 years young mother out to Sunday lunch ). Only to be told We don’t do Sunday lunches . 5 star rating on your website. More like 3 . Small draughty eating area , one person serving at the bar , had to wait ages . Ended up with steak and ale pie / chips . Knock that one off my sunday lunch list.

   We tried Sunday lunch here for the first time. Food was delicious with generous portions, service was excellent, at a very good price. A real gem.

   This is my local it is on my door step very pleased with it every time I go in their with different friends food is always very good and the staff are very friendly
