Outstanding service and a sublime meal with an epic rooftop view. What more could you ask for?
The steak they have are pretty cool! Really delicious, we enjoyed all the plates we have in the Chuck’s steakhouse! If we are going banff again, we’ll definitely choose this restaurant again!
Caitlyn was awesome and attentive as the sommelier & hostess.
Meal was good but we had better tasting steak and prime rib elsewhere.
Good service and good quality, Good environment and comfortable
Amazing - try the tenderloin!!! Claire was an outstanding server!!!
Service was friendly enough. Was surprised that for an establishment which specialises in steak, the first steak that came out was way overdone than medium rare. Did up another steak and to their credit, gave a 50% discount off the steak, but it meant that we ended up at the restaurant longer than we would have liked and our kids were impatient for their dinner. But quality of steak was top notch though, so no fault there.
Amazing food and service. We had Chateaubriand to share. It was perfect
The server (I can’t remember his name) was
Extremely knowledgeable with the menu and was very comfortable describing each entree. The table side Ceasar salad was amazing, and the escargot stuffed mushrooms were fantastic. We ordered the 30oz rib steak, it was good but not amazing, it sort of lacked the flavor thank goodness for the side of salt, without it, it was pretty bland.
We were visiting Banff for our anniversary and choose
Chuck’s based on its menu and great reviews .
It was outstanding in every regard.
The steaks were cooked perfect and the sides were
superbly presented and prepared.
No matter how good the food is it’s nothing without great service and let me tell you we had fabulous service.
The waitress told us she had been there since it first opened and it showed . She was very knowledgeable
and had an awesome personality.
I would highly recommend this restaurant
Great job gang
Steak taste good and juicy
Make sure have on line reservation first 😜
Don't believe the hype! Although the food is decent, there are much better places to get a good steak for a better price. If you even somewhat know your way around a barbeque grill you could stay home and do what these guys are doing and save yourself a fortune. Nothing special here.
The steak of your choice comes on a plain white plate with nothing else. Any sides cost you, and cost you dearly. $10 for a handful of baby carrots!? And drinks? My Wife and I ordered 2 of the worst Caesars ever..... to the tune of $16 a pop!! I can see why they weren't on the menu.
There is absolutely no value for the top dollar they charge in this place. Service, food, and ambiance of the restaurant were very average. Do yourself a favor and pass on this place.
There were three of us, including one who eats beef a lot. All three of us felt that it was the best steak we ever had it in our lives. It was kind of pricey, about $80 per person. But, definitely definitely worth it.
I went with my wife and 1.5 year old son. The food was amazing but the staff was even better. All options for food and drink were explained with confidence and we felt comfortable and welcomed the whole time.
We have been to Chuck’s many times and it never disappoints! Highly recommend!!
Waiter was dirty and sick. Coughing without covering his mouth. Poor explanation of a complicated menu. Ordered the Prime Rib and are sure it was eye of round. The only good thing about the meal itself was the tomato salad. Tourist Trap as far as U am concerned.
The food was excellent and the service even better. I would go here again.
Been many times before but didn’t love the sides this time around. They’ve changed. Did not enjoy the mashed potatoes at all, did not taste fresh and we had to wait quite a while for our meal. Dessert was amazing. I returned my drink as it had an awful taste which I’ve never had there before. Wasn’t as impressed as I’ve usually been coming here.
The client group RAVED about how wonderful the food was and their server.
Service was great. Our server was friendly and accommodating.
Food was only average.
Broccolini wasn’t cooked through. And didn’t have a lot of sauce.
We also had the green veg and found the Brussel sprouts to be fairly hard and chewy.
I had the waygu ribeye and it was decent but wasn’t anything to I’d get excited about again.
The bread, carrots, mushrooms and beets were good.
Again we both liked our server and the overall service.
my boyfriend and I love Chucks. We come for special occasions and always have the best experience. However this time I decided to try something different, I’m not the biggest steak eater, so I got the vegan gnocchi. On the menu it sounds really nice but when I got to try it, it was very bland and dry. I understand it’s a steak house but I feel like all food items should be delicious and flavourful as it is not a cheap restaurant. Next time I’ll get the steak because my boyfriends meal was amazing !! Other than the gnocchi everything was great. Amazing garlic bread, great wine, very nice server and the most delicious espresso ice cream cake desert !
The wagyu dumplings were literally the best! Great atmosphere and great staff!
Nice restaurant good food very good service but all items on the menu is over price even for Banff!!
The food was outstanding and service was great. Well worth a visit!
That was an amazing ribeye stakes. We also enjoyed a ceaser salad.
The staff were friendly and very attentive. The food was amazing, the table side cesar salad was excellent. Felt as though the staff were trying to over extent themselves attending to multiple tables at once. The locals menu was a nice less expensive alternative to the menu.
This was our first time visiting Chuck’s and we had a wonderful experience. We shared a bottle of wine, ordered a grass fed tenderloin each with peppercorn sauce, and the potato gratin to share. It was excellent! What stole the show, though, was the Mud Pie Bomb for dessert. We still can’t stop talking about it. Our server was Sarah and she hosted our time there fabulously. She was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. If we ever come back to Banff, Chuck’s will be in the top of our list of places to eat.
Limited parking but once we found a spot, we walked in and were seated right away. Everything from checking in, the waiter, to food was excellent.
Delicious ribs!! Had the chowder but hardly any seafood in it but service was great. A special occasion restaurant as is quite pricey.
The experience of dining within Chuck's steakhouse is rare. There are few restaurants in Alberta that can have the standards of quality and cuisine that enhance an evening out. The menu provides steakhouse culinary at its best. Meat is meat and then there is "Chuck's" !
We have our family here for Easter weekend (3 young adults) - Claire was our server and she was Excellent! The food was delicious , right from appetizers thru to dessert .
Good overall experience and as you hope great steaks! The individual steaks are a bit pricey by the time you add on sides etc but quality is fab. Would def go back.
Was our second visit, first time best meal and steak ever. This time steak was mostly fat, mediocre at best and was removed from our bill. Won't be returning.
The food is always excellent here.
Always a must stop for us when in Banff.
Exactly what a Steakhouse should be!!
Great food, great service, great place. Would highly recommend and will visit again when we next visit Banff.
Proper steakhouse, great informative service, loved my whole experience here
