Loved the concept, that oxtail broth, the homemade noodles and the cucumber salad (!), but our service was rocky and we weren't guided through the process very well.
Fun and different. Reservations are hard to get. It is a small building with limited seating. Tables only hold 6 people. The middle seat is cramped from the heating components for the broth you heat in the table. Fun food to experiment with, duck feet, meatballs and other things I didn't know the name of but tasted great!
Server seemed to be overwhelmed. We had to ask for things a few times before she brought it, if she ever even brought it. Most of the time I would resort to asking someone else. Small space, so it gets crowded and hectic. Too many people working with a lot kind of not doing anything.
Restaurant was not open. Why were we able to make reservation?
A wee bit cold due to a single door aituation but they were quick to announce they were still working some operational kinks out. The food and flavors were phenomenal and the decor was delightful. Great service too that helped us very novice hot potters out! Will be back soon.
The food was delicious but it is not well suited for large groups as they only have two tables for six and overall the space is small. It was a soft opening so they still have some kinks to work out. The iPad menus didn’t work and had items from the Las Vegas location listed that are not available in Denver.
Great atmosphere and ambiance, seemed a little crowded and loud but after all we went when it was the first night with a full menu. Ordering was a little complicated but I'm sure if i went back again it would be less so. Food was unmistakably delicious, amazing meat, amazing fish, and great mushroom combo. Veggie combo was disappointing, just a variety of leaves, I'd recommend ordering vegetables individually. Very flavorful, great way to spend a longer time eating instead of a frustratingly quick meal.
This was a soft opening so allowances were made. When we entered we were shown to a table and left alone. No one explained how the meal went. The server didn't know anything about the food and the stuff we ordered the was horrible, like the potato noodles that were like trying to eat scotch tape, were not taken off our bill. Really horrible food, no help on ordering, we were seated by the door and froze and people kept running into us. Very expensive, very disappointing, we won't be back. We stopped at Wendy's on the way home from the horrible dinner.
