The food was perfect, as always, and our server, Mai Britta, was superb and pleasant.
Always a favorite. Consistent and wonderful food. Love the staff and owner.
Great food, clean and quiet atmosphere. I will return.
A wonderful place and absolutely delicious food! Service was excellent as well.
Over the top and very special - A must try for everyone!
Our table was in a good location for COVID, but the rest of the restaurant didn’t seem to have the same safety precautions as other restaurants I have been to. Given our current situation, I would take that into consideration if your worried about that. Our table was separate and away from everyone else, so we felt comfortable. It’s not like that for every table.
I’ve been to Cristos before, it’s one of my favorite restaurants, I tried their sea bass which was one of their Valentine’s Day specials. Delicious!
The food was delicious and the employees all seemed to work together very efficiently. It was Valentines Day and super busy (still distanced) but the food and service was great!
We have gone here for years and never had a bad meal or bad service. I like the combination plates so I can have several different foods. The tomato-basil soup is always a part of my order.
Wonderful service! So friendly. Favorite place on Eat Street.
I am thrilled that Christos is open again. Before Covid changed everything March 13, I was eating there at least twice a month, enjoying the delicious Greek food, served by gracious staff. The daily lunch specials are amazing - the tilapia with scallion sauce and pilaf is my favorite, and with the best pita and soup or salad it's $9.95, what a deal!
I dine here regularly and it feels like I’ve joined good friends each time I come back. Service is very personal by Ashley and Carol. The food is excellent... fresh and tasty. The new floor and added tables add a more rustic feel.
We were a table of four people. None of us had any experience eating Greek food other than gyro or falafel sandwich. The waiter suggested ordering the Illiad to sample everything. So happy we did! The food was amazing and I will definitely go back again!
Solid Food & Value
Great food as usual. Plenty of space for physical distancing.
Great food. Great service. Appreciated dessert for birthday.
My favorite restaurant. More like visiting family than going to a restaurant - nicest, friendliest people anywhere. Plus, wonderful food - world’s best hummus!
Food was delicious!! They took all of the Covid rules very seriously which we really appreciate! Service was great! Wish we could have gone there again before heading back home.
I have been going to Christos for 20 years and have always liked it. Right now, it has become an old friend that i am glad to see b/c in the pandemic, i don't see many friends. I brought two friends with me to celebrate their birthdays. As usual, we loved the food. One friend and I both ordered the Shrimp Mykonos --- sort of a creative Greek Shrimp Stew, with lots of healthy vegetables. I also needed a cup of the Acorn Squash Soup, which is back on the menu for Fall. The other friend ordered the lamb chops & said they were great. They looked great.
Everything was great! I was especially impressed with their safety/precautions for Covid 19. We will be back soon!
Lamb shank is always good.
Always feels like a good value, although dining in this time, I felt a bit like I was taking a back seat to take out orders.
Best Greek food in the city! Our server was so sweet and they have half priced bottles of wine on Monday and Tues! I will definitely be back!
Had lamb shank was well prepared and very tender. One of my favorite restaurants in Minneapolis. It is also locally owned.
Excellent service. This is a tried and true restaurant that serves authentic delicious Greek entrees. Couldn’t decide on a wine so the waitress allowed me to taste two of the Greek wines. Both were good but went with the blend. The cheese appetizer is fun....flaming. And it’s delicious. They also have wonderful pita bread. We had the souvlaki marinated pork tenderloin. It was SOOOO good. The moussaka was equally as good as well as their pea soup and basil feta tomato soup. Go here, it will become a regular destination. I know...33 years of loving this restaurant.
Consistently excellent with great vegetarian options.
Great food and service at reasonable pricing will be recommending to all my friends.
We enjoyed Sunday lunch, very quiet but by the time we left around 1:00 much busier/noisier. We always have a great experience at Christos!
Food was amazing! We wanted to try a little of everything so we got the Iliad sampler. I’d highly recommend it.
Alwsys fabulous food at Christo’s! Best Greek in town!
The food is extraordinarily good and the service was friendly, but they got a bit bogged down midway through our meal and it took far too long to get desserts and then our checks. We’ll be back!
The food and service was wonderful. One friend's first time. She said she would definitely be back. Went for lunch at 11:30, it was very quiet, but by the time we left it was full and lots of conversations taking place.
I brought a group of 12 hungry musicians for dinner. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food, wine and great service.
The meal was wonderful as always. I took my daughter there for a Valentine's date and we love mediterrainean food so Christos was our choice!
Great food and service as usual! Will continue to visit!
Outstanding Greek menu, facilities and ...surprise, below the noise level we’re all too often required to endure in restaurants today. It is a huge problem, often despite expensive interior designs that appear to reduce it. We’ll definitely be back!
Rack of lamb is a must! Tabouleh here is the gold standard as is the dip sampler.
Friendly staff and amazing food!
My wife and I invited our daughter to join us for dinner before a concert. Christos was our choice and proved to be an excellent choice . We all ordered seafood. Seabass, shrimp, and I had mussels. I have never had better prepared nor more mussels and the same praise was said for the other dishes. Definitely returning to Christos to sample other offerings.
They have recently changed their menu selections. I always go for the Shish kabob. That was dropped from the menu recently. The souvlaki was OK, but served with fries instead of rice and grilled vegetables. This an issue for me, and probably removed based on others' preferences. I'll still go back.
Read about this place online as the best Greek in Twin Cities, so we gave it a try. It was fantastic! We’ll definitely return for many more meals.
I have eaten here on a regular basis for years. It is not too loud except for the time they have had parties of 12 or more people. This means people are yelling to be heard from one end of the table to the other. This has happened at least twice to me. One way to avoid this to eat on non-weekend days.
