Typically outstanding. Consistently executed. James Beard award winning chef Christopher is the best, as is his staff. Fabulous entrees, attention to detail is second to none. International Wine & Food Society of Arizona member's favorite.

IT'S GOOD THEY'RE CLOSING. RESTAURANT IS TIRED, AND FOOD WAS OKAY - TOUGH BEEF. MAYBE IT WILL BE BETTER AT THE WRIGLEY.

Christopher's is an Arizona icon. I have been going to it for 27 years. It is not as well known as the big steakhouses like Mastro's, but it is in the same class. I like it most because it is quiet and you can hear yourself think and talk to other people without yelling and leaning your head in all the time.

The menu is very diverse and esoteric and they have a great wine list.

I suggest the foie gras. We had the ribeye for two. It was perfectly cooked and there was enough for three.

Christopher's has always been pricey, but no more so than any other restaurant in its class.

I was a bit put off by our server. She used the obsequious "we" too much. (How are "we?" What will "we" be eating? Do "we" want a drink? This is a pet peeve of mine.) She was adequate, but not great.

I had to send my drink back twice because the bartender didn't know how to make a gimlet. The first one was great. After the second try on the second one, I just told her to take it away. She expressed no interest in it and made no mention of taking it off of the bill. (I didn't have my glasses, so I'm not sure it was even removed). The manager did not inquire.

The bus service was outstanding. I should have left a side tip.

It is worth going there for a drink just to see the front door.

The Duck Confit was very good, as were the mussels—though the sauce was lukewarm. The major disappointment was the Cheesecake, lacking any substantive flavor, very bland with cottage cheese consistency. The wine and coffees were top notch. All in all disappointing with the high prices.

Great wines by the glass. Excellent informative but unobtrusive service. The lobster brandy puff pastry entree is fabulous and unique. Great restaurant.

The service was real slow on a Wednesday night when the restaurant was basically empty. The waiter wasn’t very engaging nor attentive. The sea bass and mussels had very little taste/flavor to them. The soup came out like warm and the salad had brown lettuce in it. Wasn’t worth the price or the drive.

Ambiance was fine, not extra ordinary. The service was outstanding and personal. The meats were great but the gruyere mashed potatoes were watery and reflected no taste of gruyere or much taste at all. The “tower dessert” was very special, still light yet flavorful.

Very disappointed. Dishes we have enjoyed in the past there were not the same. The mushroom soup w/ foie gras was way too sweet and not what it used to be. The duck was overcooked. Perhaps Christopher is too focused on the Biltmore Mansion these days.

Well executed meal. However I was baffled by the $40 charge for 4 scallops. That was outrageous even for a New Yorker!

As always, our experience at Christopher's was lovely. This time, we were celebrating a birthday, and the service and ambience were wonderful, the food - exquisite. This is a favorite spot for us.

I've been here several times and the food is delightful. The best foie I've ever had time and time again. Typically the service is excellent, and this last time was no different, but the server we had was like a robot. He was good, but seriously no detectable emotion throughout the night.

Christopher’s is a gem. Food was delicious, served in a competent non intrusive way. Attention is paid to details but nothing seems fussy. Atmosphere is sophisticated but relaxed. Great wine list.
