Del equipo editorial de OpenTable: Chinese American flavors meet Tennessee ingredients at this sleek restaurant named one of the 25 best in the city by The New York Times. Inspired by consulting chef Brandon Jew’s SF hotspot Mister Jiu's, Choy dishes up cross-cultural hits like roast duck with peanut butter hoisin and gulf snapper with fermented black beans. Beverage titans Justin Mueller & Abe Vucekovich have created an enviable drinks program spotlighting rare selections that pair perfectly with the food and moody interiors featuring grand emerald leather booths and artwork by acclaimed Nashville artist Ed Nash.

    Choy brings nostalgic Chinese American flavors utilizing local Tennessee ingredients by consulting Michelin-Star & James Beard Award Winning Chef Brandon Jew. Our dining room boasts a grand mid-20th century Shanghai art-deco design that transports you back to the Golden Age era. Our menu consists of fresh seafood, steak, pork, and poultry along with handmade noodles, dumplings, locally sourced rice and vegetables. Whole Smoked 'Peking-Style' Duck is the crown jewel of the restaurant that can feed between 2 to 4 guests. The cuisine portions are generous and meant to be shared family-style that are perfectly suited for large group dining, business meetings, or your casual weekday dinner.

                                                  Disappointed. I was hoping for a great Chinese meal but found overall that the food was overpriced and under seasoned. Kyle our server was arrogant and cocky. Sommelier was very good as were most other servers. Shrimp rice was very good. Bok Choy was underdone and required asking for a knife to cut it. Whole snapper was served table side with main bone being removed. Lots of other bones however and while tender it lacked flavor.

                                                  The service was terrific and the food was delicious. I had the baby back ribs and the steak fried rice. I asked them to make the steak friend rice very spicy, and they did. We'll be returning soon. We highly recommend.

                                                  We came to Choy to celebrate a birthday and they were very accommodating and thoughtful. The food was incredible, especially the duck. Great list of drinks too. Highly recommend.

                                                  Big fan! Was on my list for a while, and came on a lucky day as locals get a nice discount on Wednesdays. Service was excellent, could not have been better from greeters, bartender, waitstaff and everyone. We had the yellowtail, squid ink wontons, lamb lo mein, peaches, and of course the duck. Everything was so good! Will be back and would recommend to anyone looking for a great meal in the Gulch!

                                                  The food, staff and atmosphere were all incredible. My friends and I have been dreaming about this meal and can’t stop talking about it. So many incredible flavors and some of the most beautiful dishes I’ve seen.

                                                  This was our second time at Choy and it somehow was even better than our first amazing visit! We are consistently amazed by the excellent wine pairings and loved all of our dishes - not a single miss, but the lamb lo mein was a true standout. Choy is truly special and quickly becoming our favorite restaurant in Nashville. The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly - and also had the best recommendations for bars to visit after dinner. Can't wait to come back!

                                                  Best Wednesday night dining deal and experience in town. The CHOY team cannot be beat. 11/10 and now they have free parking so its never been easier to dine there.
