   The service and food was excellent! I will definitely recommend Choy to everybody! Everything was perfect and everyone was amazing and professional, from the hostess to the staff. Thank you so very much for a beautiful evening and wonderful memories!

   Food was good. Unfortunately it is unacceptable for an entree to take 1 hour and minutes to be prepared. I had to leave after only a few because it took so unbelievably long to prepare the entree. If it takes over an hour to prepare an entree. Then obviously that needs to be communicated to diners, and any restaurant knows that.

   Great experience! We celebrated my wife’s birthday, and they rolled out the red carpet, making her feel special. Good food, excellent staff, very attentive.

   Tens across the board. Our server was knowledgeable of the menu and able to answer all of our questions. There is not one bad thing I could say about anything we ate. The scallion pancake was a star. The smashed cucumbers had a smokiness that was a nice surprise for us as the marinade for other similar dishes in town tend to be on the sweeter side. The sticky ribs had a really nice char and the shumai were generously sized. We decided to forgo a large dish for more small plates mentioned before and the steak fried rice. The steak bits in the rice were also nice and meaty with a marinade that does come through. We ended with the tart dessert which was not too heavy and just the right amount of sweet. The main level seating is all high booths which was a plus because you actually feel like your table has privacy. No doubt we will be back!

   I was honestly surprised by how disappointed I was with Choy. The food just didn’t live up to the hype—and for the price, it was really underwhelming. The only things we truly enjoyed were the cucumber salad and our drinks. On a positive note, the service was excellent. However, we were seated up on the railing area, which felt like we weren’t even part of the actual restaurant. By the time we paid and left, I couldn’t help but feel like I’d been robbed. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be back.

   The Peking Duck was incredible! Made for a really special experience. Not sure I would order off the regular menu though.

   HIGHLY recommend Choy. Food was amazing, and the service was honestly some of the best I’ve ever had in Nashville. The servers were constantly cleaning the table, taking empty plates as soon as we were finished, and filling our waters/taking additional drink orders. It’s rare to find an upscale spot in Nashville where the ambiance, food, AND service are all 10/10, but Choy is that spot. We will definitely return.

   Just do it…Walking in, I had high expectations from the previous reviews. We were greeted and taken upstairs by Nishaan, we were sat and immediately greeted by our waiter. Informative but not salesy. We had 2 drinks, great. 2 small plates, yellowtail and the scallion pancake. Multiple side dishes and the fish of the day, grouper. Service was five star, water was never empty, every service person was personable and kind. I like to think if the food is awesome, the service is amazing, and the ambiance is fun then it shouldn’t matter the price. This fits that to a T, doesn’t matter if it’s a special occasion or a mid week dinner this place will prove itself. I also appreciate Nishann being personable, had a great conversation. Overall 5 stars, this place will eventually be a household name just like Chauhan or Bourbon.
