Italian
Chow Morso Osteria, the Italian eatery from the Barolo Group, is a casual, family-friendly Italian restaurant. At Chow Morso, you will find a full-service bar and an Italian beverage program with a wide selection of affordable wines inspired by Ryan Fletter, owner of both Chow Morso and Barolo Grill concepts. Guests will experience a full-service restaurant between fine dining and fast casual as well as seeing pastas being rolled and cut including gnocchi and agnolotti. Darrel Truett will lead the kitchen's menu, which will be turning out fresh-made pastas, piadinas, salads, appetizers and signature Italian desserts for lunch and dinner.

amazing experience. ben steered us towards the perfect wine for pinot-malbec lovers. the black truffle addition was well worth it and service couldn’t have been better.

We mentioned we were tight in time and headed to a show and they were very attentive and honored our time constraints. All of the staff was great. Food is consistently delish and we will definitely return. This place is a gem.

Service was great. Appetizers (vitelo and arancini) were delicious. Caesar under seasoned and not enough garlic.
Pastas were a true let down. I took my kids because Barolo has such delicious FRESH pasta. Our Cecio, bolognese, and carbonara were all tough, stuck together and didn’t feel fresh. Definitely under the lamps too long.
We own restaurants and understand how it goes. They were very busy. We would go back for a drink, but not dinner. Barolo yes!

Nice location and concept. Our waitress was helpful, and the main pasta dishes and the chicken dish were very good. The kitchen seemed a bit slow and challenged because were our main dishes were slow in coming out, but it was a busy Saturday night. Will try the place again.

We ordered two of the House pastas, both of which were very good. One issue which would have improved our dining experience was where we were seated. We had a reservation and there were other 2 person tables available, but we were seated in a far corner where my friend kept getting bumped into by the servers going in and out of the kitchen. Wish I’d asked for a better table from the start. Hope we weren’t discounted due to the fact it was an all female party.

This was our first visit to Chow Morso Osteria.

I had the mushroom main and it was delicious. The large mushrooms were grilled over a wood or charcoal fire and were delicious. These grilled mushrooms were served over a bed of pasta like fregola. It was totally delicious and perfect for vegetarians.

The food was good, not great, not amazing, just good. The service was incredibly slow (we were there for hours because of the wait between courses) and overall I paid way more than I expected for a “all right” experience. Glad I visited but would only go back for happy hour and if I have a substantial amount of time to sit around.

Everything was top notch on taste and service. Only thing kept this from 5 stars was a communication error - on arrival our waitress excitedly told us they were doing Black Truffle shavings tonight, but I really don't recall her saying it was a paid option - it sounded more like a special treat for all guests. So, getting a $20 per meal hit for a shaving on a $20-$22 meal price was not cool. I get that true truffles are both special and premium, but the price and optionality wasn't well communicated. At all.

Great ambiance and service. Good drinks and wine list. Food is horribly overrated. From the appetizers to the mushy not at all al dente pastas. Very disappointed. Table of 4 made an effort to try a little bit of everything. The food does not justify the prices!

Hard to top Chow. It’s a go to place in my book hands down. I’ve dined at all the top restaurants in town, and nothing can top Chow Morso Osteria. The only place that is better is it’s big sister restaurant Barolo Grill, but I have to bring out my wallets wallet for that occasion. It might be a 40 minute drive for my wife and I to get downtown, but eating at Chow ever month is worth every penny spent. The food, the flavor, the ambiance, and the wine is worth dining at Chow.

We dined on Halloween night.. Our server was great..very attentive and friendly, & he made awesome recommendations on cocktails. We felt like he went above and beyond to take care of us. The food was also amazing...thanks for a wonderful experience!

Terrible service from the start. Wrong plates brought each time and rude staff. Food was below subpar and served less than warm.

This meal was just OK. I thought it was a bit pricey for the quality. We had the pasta with red meat sauce (very average) and the pasta with white clams which I would rate slightly better with lots of clams in it. The waiter was excellent and remembered a birthday of my guest.

Hello Christian, Very sorry you weren't impressed with the bolognese, that is quite unusual, we have literally thousands of reviews that rave about it, we have made our bolognese for decades, very sorry, perhaps a 1-off, maybe we can invite you back to try the next one on us? We love the feedback, $19 or $20 these dishes are pretty inexpensive considering all the fresh ingredients, labor to make fresh pasta, rent to be in Lodo, any less get's us away from great qualit, info@chowmorsoDotcom thx!

We expected Chow Morso Osterio to be good due to it being part of the Barolo group and we weren't disappointed. Our server Stephen was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. He knew the wine list, listened to what we liked and recommended wines we both loved. He described the specials and his favorite dishes well and we chose two of his recommendations. The grouper with farro was perfectly cooked and delicious. The standout dish was the Carbonara. The handmade pasta, a good amount of bacon and an egg yolk on top made this dish memorable. I'd go back just for that. We'll be back to try the other interesting dishes on the menu.

Best food I
Have had in a LONG time. Buffalo carpaccio was extraordinary. Homemade pasta addicting. The salads are very fresh with interesting dressings as well as ingredients. Ordered dessert even though we were completely stuffed but knew it had to be great. Again we were thrilled! Bottle of Sangiovese was excellent and very moderately priced. Cannot wait to go back and try some more things!

We had an incredible experience at this restaurant, we got the muscles appetizer the red snapper special and another fish entrée that was absolutely incredible as well as a pairing from the in-house sommelier. It was a great way to celebrate our anniversary.
