CHOUX GRAS BRASSERIE CULINAIRE
Before dinner, plan an apero at the adjacant Axe Lounge Bar for a unique night out experience in Tremblant!
Your health and safety, along with the wellbeing of our team, are of paramount importance to us. And so, in compliance with the provincial government’s official ordinance, issued yesterday, we will be shutting temporarily Choux Gras Brasserie Culinaire until further notice. ***
food was disappointing. especially salads and appetizers, tasteless, no salt, no taste
Everything was great. Except for the wine list, maybe add a few :)
The food is delicious! Everithing was perfect! The ambiance vers coosy.
Ambiance et nourriture et surtout service excellent
Went for my wife’s 60th birthday while visiting Tremblant.
Nice setting within the Fairmont hotel. Food and drinks were expensive but that seemed to be the same all over the resort.
When I booked I stated it was a birthday celebration but there was no acknowledgement of this by the restaurant which was a little disappointing.
I was expecting a little more from the Fairmont. Food wasn’t out of this world. The one point where I would give it 5 stars is for the service. Our waiter Guillaume was outstanding. The ambiance is also very nice with beautiful decor but overall nothing to rave for given the price.
Elegant, stylish place for a romantic special occasion.
Had a fantastic dinner with my family of four. Unique and flavorful cocktails to start. Delicious Foie gras, beet salad and oysters started us off. Excellent wine selection. Entrées superb, from Quebec veal to salmon and halibut. Outstanding service, cozy and cool ambiance. Prices standard for this caliber of restaurant, although a better deal with my American $$’s(désolé mes amis canadien!). I feel for the staff of Choux Gras and all of the wonderful people that took care of us during our week at Tremblant now that the virus has shut down the season so early. Good health to all and I hope to visit next season.
Outstanding service by Etienne; very delicious dinner on two separate occasions; lovely assistance from Linda. A must if you are in Mont Tremblant,
A lovely, intimate, but casual environment. Great food with exceptional service. Definitely intend to return.
our whole experience at this restaurant was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome.
The restaurant overlooks the mountain and has a great upscale ski lodge vibe. The service was excellent and the food was good.
Such a lovely experience. The service and food were excellent.
Atmosphere was nice. Our waitress was excellent. Veal chops served were overdone but the maitre d and waitress resolved issue as well as accommodating the dessert portion of our dinner.
We had a special occasion dinner. We’ve made a reservation in advance based on the reviews we saw online. Once we arrived the place looked good. But the food is nothing that we expected. Food was a very low quality. Cold, insipid and etc. As on a food court. So finally we closed the bill and went to another place. They gave us a discount, which still did not save a birthday dinner! So the conclusion is if you have a special occasion do a better research for places with higher quality food!!!
Our server was Guillaume, he was so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The food we had was excellent! We will return.
Singer’s voice is so nice! Service was great! Food is value
My husband and I really enjoyed our dinners. The food was outstanding and our server was very attentive and thoughtful. A 10 out of ten experience.
This place was perfect. great cozy and classy ambiance, excellent service service and you MUST have the home made bread. Delicious.
It was my wife’s birthday. The service and food were fantastic.
Sadly, the waiter was unattentive/bored; the food was cold & both main dishes tasted the same with a heavy sauce on both - even though one was lamb & one was veal! The whole ambience was wrong for a fun ski resort. We would not go back.
Food was very disappointing. Expected much better especially given prices and need to travel out by shuttle.
We ate maybe half of our dishes. Menu portrays classic French food but isn’t prepared or presented correctly. For example, the escargot came on toast smothered in cheese...
Live music was nice, and waiter was friendly.
It was my 50th birthday but they did not acknowledge it. David was a great waiter. The food was pretty good. Other visits have ben better. Salmon, although cold when served, it tasted amazing. Steak was under cooked but again decent. Desserts were very good. Cocktails expensive but very good. Desserts were free (appreciated) since the Salomon was cold and salad not so great. They tried very much to make up for the shortfall and that was very kind and generous. I’d recommend it. We would go back. We’ve been at this restaurant 3-4 times and all in all a good visit.
David, our server, is a gem. Informative, engaging, and respectful attention to our experience.
Will ask to be seated in his section going forward.
We had a wonderful dinner at CHOUX GRAS BRASSERIE . The food was great. The service was excellent and the ambiance only enhanced the dining experience. The restaurant located in the Fairmount Hotel at Mount Tremblant rests at the foot of the mountain. Floor to ceiling windows provide an amazing view to a backdrop of the mountain.
Everything was perfect from beginning to end. We highly recommended CHOUX GRAS BRASSERIE!
The food was exceptional and great ambiance. David, our server was great and the hostess charming.
The food was amazingly good. Our waiter Viktor gave us excellent service.
The waiter refused us from kids menu while table next to ya was Able to order.
Great service, food and ambiance. We enjoyed our night
Expected a bit more for a restaurant attached to a Fairmount Hotel
Amazing food, David such a great server, beautiful atmosphere!
This was my second time in choux gras. Both times Christmas dinner , both times the food was amazing. We had a halibut and lamb confit and oysters for appetizer .Our server was very young and a bit stiff and inexperienced but still nice and helpful. Definitely we will be back. Don’t forget to make a reservation!
Nice place great service. Food overpriced even for the area. Had much better food elsewhere loval
Had our penultimate Xmas eve dinner here with my family. It was by far some of the best food I have ever had the pleasure to eat, served by the friendliest and polite staff to boot. Hands down the best filet mignon my our my son have ever had and I’m including some of the best steak places in Vegas, LA and Toronto. Had an amazing bottle of brokered wine. Starters and dessert were on point of course too. It was not cheap but I and my family came away feeling that it had tremendous value. Bravo!
