   Loved celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary at Chou Chou. Our waitress was amazing. I wish I had gotten her name. We enjoyed the Baked Brie appetizer (highly recommend!) and the beet salad. I had the salmon with corn risotto which was delicious. My husband had the baked salmon in pastry, which he also really enjoyed. Great little spot! You feel like you are in France.

   My family and I had a lovely evening celebrating my wife's birthday at this wonderful neighborhood bistro in Burlingame. The evening went effortlessly with prompt seating at a nice quiet window table. The service was five star, very attentive and on point. Recommendations were on target and execution was excellent. The one thing worth mentioning was that the medium rare filet I ordered came out medium. I was prepared to eat it, but mentioned this to our waiter who insisted he take it back for another attempt. The second steak came out medium rare and perfect to my expectations. Our waiter went above and beyond which is why I would again return to Chou Chou! We would highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions. The dishes we had and recommend include the Charcuterie appetizer, beet salad, tuna tartare appetizer, Seafood Ciappino, and the Filet Beouf. Their other dishes are also quite good, I suspect. Kudos to the soulful French vocals which created the ambience of bistro dining in Paris along the Seine.

   Excellent service by Andre. Food was very good and good sized portions. Lobster ravioli was very tasty. Will go back to try other offerings in the menu.

   Chouchou is exceptionally good in every respect. Our only regret is that we don't dine there more often. If you enjoy French cuisine (or just outstanding food!!) and excellent service in a pleasant ambiance, then Chouchou is a "must" destination.

   My wife and I have eaten at this restaurant several times before and have always been very satisfied. This past Sunday night we brought a party of seven and the results were fair. 1) Service was slow. 2) Dishes came out separately. 3) The Prix fixe menu has changed, eliminating some dishes previously available. 4) In our memory, the serving of rack of lamb went from six chops (on previous visits) to four chops on this current visit. Every restaurant can have an off night. This night there was a big crowd, which may have contributed to the choppy service. The maitre'd and wait staff are very courteous people and obviously tried hard to satisfy us. They provided a birthday creme broulet for my wife gratis. I had salmon on top of a delicious risotto. Our guests were satisfied with their selections, once they came. ChouChou offered a complementary glass of wine or champagne for patrons who select the three course prix fixe menu, and as an apology for the uneven service, they kept filling it. A very nice touch. We'll give them another chance.

   Amazing service and a wonderful menu of choices. Food was delicious and well balanced portions. The experience was very pleasant and a great value for a special occasion.
