Had a LOVELY dinner here for my birthday. Emre did an excellent job taking care of us. Hands down was the best service and food we had in Miami!

Really cool place. The service was 11 out of 10 and the food was delicious. The portions are small and pricey but definitely worth it... We'll repeat for sure

This restaurant is BEAUTIFUL omgg and the food is AMAZINGLYY tasty. Very flavorful, the service was spectacular. I will definitely be going back, the way they paid attention to our every need in a timely manner really made me happy. We got VIP treatment in this gorgeous space. I recommend everyone visit. Their menu ranges from japanese robata to sushi && they even have guac and chips! Love love love

Their food was amazing ! I definitely recommend the dragon roll and the vegan crispy rice. The music wasn’t too loud to where you can’t talk with a friend. Definitely will go again.

I really wanted to like this place and usually only write positive reviews, but Chotto Matte fell very short of expectations. The one pro is that the decor of the restaurant is nice. The negatives were numerous, in short an outrageous service charge, drinks were way too sweet, and pushy rules/service. Our service charge was $22 on a $56 bill with the explanation that the automatic service charge was applied to the regular price of the drinks, not the happy hour price we were actually charged, so this effective 40% service charge is a total scam, under the guise of a "20% service charge." This review is for all those unsuspecting wanting a nice south beach happy hour...there are other nice places with better drinks, service, and without unreasonable charges. Would not recommend. Buyer beware.

The Chef tasting options are a game-changer for groups and business dinners. It promotes conversation and everything tastes like "MORE"! The flavors and surprises are an experience, and the bar complements the kitchen perfectly.

The best meal I have ever had in my life

The food was not good at all for the price.. the waitress was not nice and made us want to leave... horrible service not coming back!!

The menu is extremely limited you’ve only got four choices and there fixed meals.
No explanation on the food you are ordering on the menu you are relying on the servers description.
There is several different restaurants in this area with the same quality if not better that offer a far better dining experience

I went with a friend for lunch and we loved the place. Food was amazing and the staff was super friendly. Most definitely will recommend.

The food is very tasty here, but wait staff and management are trying to push standard food bundles so they can get higher bill per customer. They also rush you into ordering, deliver food instantly, and try to rush you out to clear for next party. All of this to impose a mandatory 18% service charge. The music was also thumping so loud, I thought I was literally sitting on the dance floor at a techno-EDM concert. This just made people have to scream at each other to be heard a across table. This raised noise level even higher ( not to mention the COVID spread). Save your $100+/person and go to a less manipulative establishment.

this place looks like the rainforest cafe at universal. furniture is from over stocked chinese wharehouse. airlines probably serve better sushi. over hyped.

Amazing sushi and outstanding service! Bethany was such an amazing waitress! please ask her to take care of you if you get the chance to go. Food comes out so quickly and drinks were 10/10. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The noise level was much higher than it should be for a dining experience. You were barely able to speak to the people you’re there with without screaming. Other than that it was great!

I originally saw Chotto Matte on TikTok and it looked like fun so I booked a dinner reservation during a weekend trip to Miami. The interior design is interesting and the food is fine, but that's about where it ends. I was pretty disappointed with the overall experience. The food was fine, but they gave us burnt karaage and kept trying to take our drinks away when we had a few sips left.

Amazing ambience, food and service .

Our server was fabulous at guiding us through the menu. Of everything we tried - and we ate a lot of sashimi, ceviche, and vegetables- the King Oyster Tostado, rocoto cauliflower wings, and the Machu Picchu Mountain were our favs. The libations are equally as tasty and creative- recommending the Yuzu Martini to start and wrap things up with a Deadly Spice.
