   We look forward to dining at Choplin’s and we are NEVER disappointed. Delicious food cooked perfectly and outstanding service (thank you Tori). Always an enjoyable evening when it begins with dinner at Choplin’s. Don’t forget to save room for dessert!

   Small restaurant: table OK. Crab/ spinach appetizer disappointing all bread little dip. Scallops done well with excellent presentation. Wait staff little pushy. Restaurant little pricy for location next to a planet fitness. Restaurant attracts a better than usual well dressed crowd

   The food, as always is delicious. The service on this visit left a lot to be desired. My fiance requested that her salad AND soup be brought at the SAME time. However, that must have been a difficult request as our server brought only the soup. It took almost 40 minutes for our meal to be brought to the table and it wasn't an especially busy night. Our server came by the table once after our food was brought to ask if we needed anything else. In general, he was NOT attentive at all and SLOW about everything. This visit was disappointing to say the least.

   The food was excellent as always. But, it was our anniversary I asked for a more romantic table and area and we were seated in the noisiest part of the restaurant. We could barely hear each other talking.

   Ambience was great. Steak not flavorful even after their version of A1 Steak-sauce. Many restaurants cant make a great Ribeye. Chicken Marsala was very good. Our Server, Jacob however was outstanding which made all the difference he was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable.

    Staff was AMAZING!! Food was great! Selection of wines were good - ordered a Cosmo - this was the ONLY THING I didn’t like. Bartender needs to learn how to make a Cosmo. Again have to repeat AMAZING STAFF we felt very welcomed!!

    This was our 3rd time eating there. Wanted to keep giving it a chance. We just simply aren’t impressed with the food quality and overpriced. The booths are very small and uncomfortable. You can tell there are a lot of regular customers so we will let them enjoy it.

    Terrible service. Made reservations for a special milestone birthday for someone. Waited 1 hr and 15minutes after we had eaten before waitress came back to table to check for more water/drinks/dessert etc! Just ruined the entire night, I was so embarrassed to have chosen the celebrate there! No one at bar, only two waitresses and one server who brought our food. Steak was cooked rare, not medium rare. Fine dining prices, ok food, won't be back.

    Always a good experience. Food and service were spot on. Tried a side with corn, collards, and tomatoes. Different and very good. Cocktails made exactly the way we requested. Well worth the money.

    We celebrated my wife’s birthday last night… it was a surprise with our good friends. The setting was very nice, food amazing and service was great. Choplins dessert specialist made a Carrot cake as a surprise for my wife. She loved it. Good times, good friends and good food. Frank & Carol Stacy

    Everything was great!!! I was celebrating my 30th birthday and it was everything I wanted plus more!! Our server Eric was sweet and very good about recommending menu items. I will definitely return. The ribeye was so good and those BRUSSELS SPROUTS were one of the best things that I have ever eaten. The entire restaurant was a vibe

    The restaurant serves great food and the waiter served me and my sister very well on her birthday dine out. This is my favorite restaurant and I would highly recommend it to others. It’s a small restaurant in size but a good place to dine at if you want to go to a fine dine restaurant.

    Choplin’s is a perfect date night spot. Michelle and Melanie are great at helping with wine selections and pairings. The wine list is better than most restaurants in the area. We enjoy the bistro feel and perfectly cooked steaks every time.

    Our server was excellent .. wine selection was ok .Prices are very high for the experience .. the decor is dark and a little tired . Seemed like a place for older folks .

    The food was good, I’ll start off by saying that. However, we were seated well over 5 mins before our server even greeted us and took our drink order. The table beside us was seated and received waters before we even saw our server as well. Then we waited another 5 mins to receive our drinks. Did really see our server much after that other than bringing our app, dinner and then our check. Still, we enjoyed our time there and the food was great.

    The food was amazing as always. But tonight, the service was not good. Our waiter (who shall remain nameless) was not very attentive at all. My wife ordered coffee when he initially took our appetizer order. She didn't receive it until our entrees arrived, which was pointless by then. Mind you, we had bread, lobster bisque, and salad prior to receiving our entrees. I could go on but I'll stop there. I will definitely be back because it's one of my favorite places to eat. But I will most certainly request to not have this specific waiter the next time I visit.

    NO ONE in the LKN/Charlotte area can cook seafood like Chef Choplin. 3 of us ordered the special, Branzino, and the fourth dinner was Lobster tail. All cooked perfectly and incredibly delicious. We started the evening with French onion soup and fresh mozzarella/pesto/tomato appetizers. Didn’t forget their decadent desserts either - crème brûlée topped it all off perfectly. Of course, outstanding service with a smile- thanks Tori.

    The food here is good and has a great price point. However, we waited 30 mins after our reservation to be sat. The service was good, but we were brought drinking glasses that weren’t clean and had to send those back for new ones. I rate this place a 4, the decor is a bit dated but overall it’s a good place to grab a dinner and the food is good.

    I enjoyed the experience but the food we ordered didn't leave a lasting impression. The ambiance is really nice. I have to admit the location is a little odd. It's in a strip mall right next to a nail salon, some other food spots and a planet fitness but hey being different is ok right and once you're inside you kind of forget you're in a strip mall because it is really cozy and elegant inside. I think we will go back and try other items on the menu eventually but we're not in any rush to do so as the food was underwhelming for us, especially at those prices. We even sent a plate back to replace it with something else which they did accommodate so that was really nice of them. Overall we did still enjoy our evening and just took it as perhaps we didn't order the right dish so we're going to give it another shot some day and hopefully we will have a change of heart.
