First time going. Food is delicious but on the pricey side. I rated you a 4 because I’m a well done type of girl n my husband is a medium rare type of guy. I don’t like any pink in my meat much less see or eat sides that have had “blood” touch it. I was sooooo disappointed, disgusted and irritated to find out at home that my leftovers were placed with his leftovers and his medium rare steak’s bloody mess ran into and through my risotto. Grrrrrr....not cool! If i had known, i would have requested separate containers. Least to say....I’m perturbed still to this day! That was the best risotto I’ve had in a long time. Grrrrrrr!!
The food was incredible as was the service. Our waiter, Brian, was the best! I highly recommend this restaurant to those foodies looking for a great steak.
We came with a group of friends to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We had a private little section and didn’t feel rushed at all, we were able to enjoy each other’s company. Service was great, food was wonderful and excellent wine selection. Will definitely return.
Probably the best cooked steak I've had in Jax; just a plain, rare, filet cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning. I will be back here again.
Awesome! Steaks perfectly cooked and super tasty - snails were tender and delish - wedge salad with lardons always a fave
Liked the changes in the decor and the food. Excellent service - our waitress was efficient and pleasant but not intrusive.
The escargot special is fantastic. I’ve had the pleasure of traveling abroad and have experienced the real thing in France... These were even better! My server was very nice, and the ambiance is lovely. They did a great job with the renovation.
The food here is soooo amazing. I’ve been to Ruth’s and Three Forks, but they do not compare to the level of service and value of Chophouse 13. After a night of hefty drinks and a multiple course meal (including a complimentary dessert due to my brothers birthday) our bill for 4 people wasn’t nearly as much as I expected. I will without a doubt come for all my special events.
The oak bar/ lounge was lots of fun on a Wednesday night. It’s happy hour drinks; two for one. Great prices compared to similar places I’ve been to.
Our server was Brian he was exceptional!!!
All his recommendations on the menu were spot on..
I was having a bit of an issue finding the right cocktail Brian was so helpful.. Will definitely be coming back and will ask for Brian!
We came here for my birthday and everything was great, zero complaints. The new mussels on the menu were delicious, I ordered them with the white sauce. Way better than any Italian restaurant I’ve been to around town.
Very nice upscale place for a special occasion.
We came here for a date night and loved everything. I got the lobster bisque, by far the best I’ve had in a long time. It has amazing flavor and bits of lobster in it! We live in the area and have deemed this our new favorite date night spot.
I really loved the bone in ribeye with the mushroom aupoivre. My mom and I split the lobster Mac and cheese. The sides are a la carte so they’re perfect for sharing. Absolutely delicious!
The baked potatoes were bad! The steak was really good. The sides are too pricey for what you get
Our waitress was fantastic. Not rushed, drinks refreshed without asking. Steaks excellent, Ceasar salad could use less dressing and don’t forget the anchovies. Some confusion with “Open Table” apt. Thank you for making our anniversary special.
Food was delicious. Only issue was that the escargot appetizer special was not served warm. It was room temperature at best and even when the waitress took it back, it returned essentially in the same condition. Everything else was superb from the bread to the twin lobster tails and the brussel sprouts!
Good food, great service, ambiance was awesome. Only complaint that I have is after spending a lot of $$$ for a salad, 2 filets, 3 sides and 2 desserts..they had a tricky tack $2:up charge for splitting the salad...seriously???
Service was great on a busy night, we will be back very soon.
Got some food to go, loved everything. The chophouse salad is great for something light. For the amount of food we got, the bill was reasonable.
Over price and soup was very salty. Hadn’t been in years and very average. Ruth Chris and Capital grill much better for the same type of money.
Excellent food, service, generally a great time................I can't say enough about the food and service!
Absolutely superb service. The happy hour on Wednesday was a fantastic deal and the steaks were fabulous. Will go there again for sure!
Food, drinks, service and everything was outstanding! We were celebrating our work place and it was the perfect way to celebrate. Thank you so much for everything.
Nice restaurant but a little pricey for the food. Steaks were good as were the various sides. Service was excellent. Will try again later in the year to see if improved.
We loved it! This was our first time here since the remodel and we were thrilled with all of it. All of it was outstanding. We’ll be back.
Love coming here, the food and service never disappoint
The bar menu has great food if you’re not that hungry
I would recommend it, but the price is quite high for this area, and there are other places around that are just as good and cost considerably less.
I loved the ribeye. I got the 22oz bone in, absolutely perfect. Goes great with a side of their crispy Brussels sprouts and a loaded baked potato. I will be coming back, for sure.
I came to Chophouse 13 for my birthday because I wanted to go somewhere nice. This place met all the criteria. I ordered the salmon appetizer and got a filet for my entree. Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. My husband surprised me with a slice of yummy cheesecake with a lit candle, so sweet!
We celebrated our wedding anniversary with dinner at Chophouse Thirteen. It was a good choice for a special occasion. We chose the appetizer specials which were both substantial in amount. The escargot were prepared in an interesting and tasty herb sauce. The soft crab was huge and delicious. My filet mignon was tender and cooked as I requested. My husband’s blackened shrimp were to his liking. The sides were large enough to share. The sautés spinach was an interesting and tasty. The service was prompt and attentive from our server, Faith. The dessert warm chocolate cake wasn’t as hot as I would have liked but tasted good. The rather high prices at the Chophouse preclude every day dining, but it was a perfect special occasion choice:
It was super busy when we went but the service was still great, and all the food was delicious. We didn’t know what the prices would be after the renovations but they’re not bad. They have good appetizers in the bar with happy hour
The bar is a lot of fun if you’re looking for a more casual fun vibe, the bar menu has decent prices too
They have cocktails in the oak bar, we come here a lot for girls night.
LOVE the food here, the service is always great.
Timely service, drinks stayed full (dirty martinis). Updates to the atmosphere; fresh paint and redesigned inside. Had apps of escargot special and calamari, dinner was ribeye and fried shrimp with sides of whipped potatoes and Brussel sprouts, finished with a chocolate (lava like) cake for dessert. They were very busy (Saturday at 7pm), we’ll come back at an earlier time or different day altogether to get a little more of an intimate evening, but food was delicious and prompt.
The lobster bisque tasted like it came out of a can. Fortunately our very nice waitress took it off the bill without me having to ask. The sautéed mushrooms were terrific, however everything else we ordered was average at best. I ordered a ribeye and my wife ordered the fillet. Hers was over done mine was cooked the way I ordered it. We would have sent it back, but considering how long it took to get it in the first place we decided to just eat it. I was hoping to love this place.
I thought this was a high end chophouse. it isn't . No tablecloths. The waitress would give one person the silverware to pass out to everyone and then the same with desert plates, gave all 4 to one person to pass one to everybody. Service was slow. took one and a half hours to get main course. Had to complain twice about it and management did apologize but still unacceptable The prices were similar to a high end restaurant like Ruths Chris.
Food was delicious. Noise level was higher than usual and drink service was slower than usual.
