Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. All of this quality comes with friendly hospitality in warm and energetic rooms. Open for breakfast, happy hour, dinner and late-night!

Always enjoy chop , never had a bad meal at this location. Beautiful restaurant inside and good location when attending events downtown. Happy hour deals are always great

Great night out. Had prime rib. This place used a gravy on top of meat. The gravy on top was tasty but I prefer more of a red wine jus to accompany the prime rib.

The combo is not worth the price and it's not medium rare as we ordered. It's almost well done. But the crab cake is delicious. The service was excellent and professional. I also really liked the atmosphere here. Moreover, on our anniversary, the server gave us two glasses of wine as a gift.

From the moment we walked in, it was clear that Chop was something special. The service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing, with staff who were both knowledgeable and genuinely welcoming. Our server, Sarah B was delighful and went above and beyond to make our anniversary dinner special. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was crafted with care, but the star of the show was, of course, the steak—perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and bursting with flavor. The sauce trio was a perfect recommendation for our meals. If I were to say anything negative, the caesar salad didn't wow me. There wasn't enough garlic or dressing for my liking. T he dessert was the perfect finishing touch; we had the sticky toffee sundae and the dessert trio - all so good! The atmosphere tied everything together: elegant, warm, and sophisticated, with just the right amount of buzz. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in and enjoy every moment. We’ll definitely be back. This is the kind of restaurant that sets the bar.

First time dining here. We loved it. Comfortable booths and noise level was very good considering how busy it was. Staff were first class and good excellent and prepared to order and served time appropriately.
